Unfortunately precursor crafting will almost certainly make the price of the majority of precursors rise.
The only expensive precursors are the 4-5 that are horribly over popular. The rest of the precursors are pretty cheap. There are half a dozen varieties that you can get for <100g right now.
So yes, Dawn, Dusk, Legend, and Spark will probably fall in price slightly, but expect all the other precursors to be much more expensive to craft then they are to buy.
Why people hate zerkers ? It’s quite simple. People who do speedruns, post builds on forums, etc, advocate for full zerker builds cause it’s the most efficient atm.
Then, other people see this, and copy it, saying “Hey, XXX is using this build and stuff, i’ll do the same !” And then, you have two problems :
- First, some will advocate zerker gear like it was a religion, and treating other people like heretics for not using that gear.
- Second, to play full zerker, you need to be good enough to survive with it, and let’s face it, not every people using this stuff is. And they get down, and down, and down… Then, the rest of the community whine about those useless people who are looking at the ground most of the time…
Full zerker is great as long as you manage to survive with that gear. Not everyone is able to do that. As such, not everyone should use zerker.
With ascended recipes, soft wood planks should seriously put be back in line with 3 logs for a plank. Please correct this!
9 out of 10 situations you will want berserker over assassin. Doesn’t really matter what class if the choice is between those two.
Report all the Non-Zerkers!
That first female haircut is awesome.
Is the second one male or female? It’s hard to tell…
Lol anyway yea i noticed that as well. They are not available tho, they are probably going to be purchasable with gems…
A lot of people including me would gladly buy hairstyles even if they would only be available from gem store
I was doing achievements for Blecher’s Bluff activity and this is what I’ve found in my home instance. Remember in the last update norn NPCs had new tattoos and mustaches which also have been added for the character creation. Can someone check if this hairstyle has been added for female humans? Currently I don’t have any free character slot to do it myself so i’ll leave it to you.
Edit: I have found another new haircut on one of the Zephyrites.

Yep, yep, yep, and yep.
Perhaps this is the “disequilibrium” of the economy they talked about?
How do you explain to a new player in Queensdale running around after champions that when he/she gets to 80 they’re going to be doing exactly the same on Cursed Shore to get Gossamer to make Ascended armour?
Grind mechanism for the Far East market perhaps?
Yeah…. no. I’m all for a TM meta achievement title (surprising we didn’t get one after a dev said it was more or less an oversight for doing hard mode Liadri), but this just isn’t a good idea in a game mode where you’re meant to die. Repeatedly.
They’re probably waiting to make a TM meta until worlds 3 and 4 are out, so that the mata can cover all 4 worlds. As it is, the TM category is incomplete, but I really hope they add a TM title at the end of it (“The Guy”, perhaps?)

Make Super Adventure Box permanent!
in Super Adventure Box: Back to School
Posted by: oscillons.8790
Hello! The reason why I am posting is that a GM told me to. I am not the only one who feels like making Super Adventure Box a permanent feature is a fantastic idea, although as game forums historically go, this idea will probably be met with much player refusal just because that is the nature of game forums; the dissidents are always more vocal than those in agreement. This post is for hopefully someone with power to read.
My girlfriend and three of her friends have all seen Super Adventure Box. They play other MMOs, WoW and SWTOR, specifically, but they have not purchased GW2. All four of these people have told me that if SAB is permanent and will not be removed at any time, they would buy this game immediately. If four MMO players that I know personally would buy GW2 on the basis of SAB alone, after which they would inevitably fall for GW2 itself, how many MMO players out there would do the same if they knew about SAB? One of the four has been going out of her way to spread how awesome SAB is, and she has already heard similar ideas in her social circles—that if this were permanent, GW2 would make some new sales fast.
Hopefully this gets through to the right people, and it is decided as static.
Unrelated, bring Cantha back to relevance!

1-1: Wasn’t to found of this level, too much run and die, trial and error.
1-2: An alright map, but really hated the lava rage rocks.
1-3: About the same as zone 2, but the new boss fight was nice.
2-1: Was buggy when I played it pre-patch, so was rather hard getting up the rivers
2-2: If it wasn’t for all the mid air spike trap bugs, and the sheer length it wouldn’t be bad.
2-3: My favorite one, less insta death traps, more skilled jumping and timing. The ice spike room, did get a little old after a while, but other wise a nice map.
Over all world one focused TOO much on trap and just making you do it again. Where world two had more skilled jumps, but where so long it got tiring. That and so many bugs still plague the maps, making even worse.
Now time to try it on normal mode, as I haven’t played it yet.

I’ve seen gw2spidy graphs jump and supply bars drop before patch of items that turned out to be used in new recipes. You can check it after any big spike caused by a new use for an item. Note when the news officially broke and check the spidy graph. Supply often gets bought out.
Please implement a system that allows us to save trait builds. The versatility of being able to reset your traits and try new builds is fun, but it is extraordinarily irritating that every single time you want to switch, you have to a) put all the points back into the appropriate traits and b) remember and select the trait bonuses you want.
Obviously characters would need to have a finite number of build slots, but any number would be nice. Even just 2 (similar to switching between weapons).
Except switching in the middle of combat might be too powerful, so it would have to be an out-of-combat thing – maybe even a “town” area only thing.
This would be a tremendous benefit and time saver when switching between various areas of the game, like between PvE and WvW, or between solo and group play.

I thought I’ve seen it all.
You’ve humbled me, OP. you really have. And no, I don’t approve.
I can’t tell if this is meant to be a dig at Mini Mr Sparkles and you’re trying to compare adding professions to a mini, or if you’re being serious.
If you’re being serious, I think it’s a bad idea.
Sending to a full inbox means no one read that anymore so here is something that I will only hope will get someone’s attention. This is not of you guy to anser on, so please don’t.
For a long year I played GW2. I played GW1 and it “was” a lot of fun.
I care for this game and that is why when I raged in form (yes, too much) I turn to you as a kind of last resort before I quit the game and probably never some back.
Unfortunately lately I have less and less fun with the game. It’s not about being bored or live situation but about how you manage the progress in game.
GW1 was static and I never had a problem with playing cause it was easy to get into the end and then explore more and more or play PvP. It was a lot of fun.
GW2 was amazing. Rich world to explore, a lot of content that most skilled I enjoyed a lot. All lore you placed and I missed a lot of it also, but thanks to WoodenPotatos from YT I have known more and more.
It’s all great, it’s great to explore, think about what I WANT to do today and just do it.
Feeling many aspects of such a rich game is just wonderful.
Lately it became a real grind (and I don’t want to write in here how bad it is).
I want to point out some things that hurt me but also my guildies and friends that left the game.
1. Living story is too time consuming for 2 weeks content.
It frustrates many players as I read on forums and it’s totally true. For someone like me liking to explore everything 2 weeks is too little. Allowing content to stay for a month when next one starts after 2 weeks won’t help it, cause most players rushed to explore will just go on and a lot of stuff won’t be possible and even if it still was you will miss next update. I think that you forget that this is also a game for people who are older than 18 years and have families. We really enjoy playing and paying in game but we want to enjoy playing not boing on constant race. For me taking care of my family and work takes a lot of time and I just can’t have fun. I only go from 1 achievement to another and hope I will have time to finish all. It’s not fun at all.
I understand that tome people are bored, but let them long for next update, maybe design content to be more repeatable for those who are bored, but please make it easier on time base.
For last few months I can’t play WvW or PvP cause I’m so rushed by LS updates that there is no time for anything else and MANY people have the same problem. Think about it.
2. Achievement system leaks all the time.
The thing is that those who have many hours in each day get like great number of points each day, but that means nothing anymore. That 1 point per activity adds up and before you know they have thousands points ahead of players that go for Living Story, Jumping puzzles, maps, events and such.
There should be a cap to daily and monthly points earned (like 3000 points for daily and monthlies – it can be calculated if do it like that: your points – points from all achievements = daily + monthly points). It would finally make playing content instead of daily grind worth something. Now we have people who have like 6-7k points and they don’t know the game at all. It’s frustrating for quite some people if you don’t know.
3. Gear and economy are really broken.
Last update shows that the most, you made crafting so consuming that going from 400 to 500 costs nearly 200g and it is only for the chosen ones, cause I don’t have that money and general player base don’t have it either. So even if prices go down slowly the void between hardcore farmers that are reach and real players that want to achieve something in the game instead of farming or playing only TP has become even greater.
Remember that people firstly think about gearing then about experiencing content, so now instead of having fun great part of friends that left online are farming cause its soooooooo important and everything else is an addition. So now last update sucks for a lot of us even more.
