I actually said something about that to a guild member the other day. Now if they made it to where you get an endless tonic or something by throwing them into the forge that would be nice but this “exclusive” mini that requires you to trash all the ones you just spent good money on is just stupid.

You’d have to transmute it to a white weapon. Then that will make it account bound. Afterwards, you’d log onto your alt and use a Transmutation Splitter to split the legendary from the white. It will come out soulbound.

Well, there has to be a condition for failure other than everyone dying, right? Can’t people just run back forever and ever if there’s no time limit?
There are many things to do on this fight. You can use your shattering build to protect the people that are using the turrets, for example.
and not get enough damage tagged on tequatl to get credit.
I guess what I want is for phantasms/illusions, pets, and minions to be immune to the aoe and ground aoe effects that bosses do because they won’t dodge and die quickly. Even with their health buff they have less hp than someone in full zerkers.

We beat him, it takes coordination and good commanders. How we did it was, we broke up into 5 man organized teams for each turret and the rest follow 2 commanders on 2 different pathways, one left, one right and split the turrets to defend either left or right zerg. This is very doable and I’m hearing the whiners already. They clearly need to learn strategy, which is fantastic. Love this new revamp!!!!
So your huge guild camped in Sparkfly Fen and then beat him, cool, too bad that is impossible for people not in a large guild / lucky enough to be in non-overflow. Proof of my point in another thread this type of non-instanced world boss can not exist…unless it is in a controlled, organized environment.

Sounds like you managed to get 6 competent players into the turrets. I think most people here are complaining about the very slim probability of that happening.
All it takes is 1-2 AFK players in the turrets and you’ll never win the fight.
- Join the event
- Tag some mobs
- Fail the event because its impossible to succeed
- Gold badge and daily done.
You wanted tactics. This isnt sarcasm. I’m serious.
Willing to bet money the scaling is off due to lack of testing.
Instead of whining on the forums, participate in the fight:
1. Get in a turret and target the boss.
2. Press skill 2 to remove at least one scale stack because they make him invulnerable at 20.
3. Zerg him down and collect the loot.
Bonus Tip: If you feel pro, use skill 3 to cleanse the green poison that will inevitably land on to of you because fingers aren’t getting killed fast enough.

Right so you’ve got six turrets that need to be used to take down the dragon right, you need the number two skill to take down his armour. But what do you do if your map has either six people who don’t know to press number 2, no matter how many people say it in chat, or worse, six people who are AFK or crashing from lag?
You fail.
That’s not even counting what will happen when griefers think its funny to cause 100+ people to waste their time by ‘akitteng’ on the turrets for jollies.
Something needs to be done, you can’t have a first come first served system on something so vital to an event with such a long cool down.
Or remove the timer. It’s the only thing ruining it.
I suppose this could apply to generally any of the popular precursors … but is it woth cashing out now or holding on to them longer and waiting for them to go up?
I kinda wanna pick up a Foefire weapon.
I’d sell while you still can, when precursor crafting is out and new legendaries are released, your dawn will plummet.

Would be doable with 40g. Actually, I thought I had more than enough.
Just how much do you need on average to reach 500? For so long I believed that ascended weapons were just a matter of collecting the materials, but now it seems to out of my reach that it’s just ridiculous.
I’m estimating at least 200g to get 500 weaponcraft? It was going alright until 400ish… (the iron ore part was depressing).

I think the best way to deal with level length would be to let you quit level at any point (well I think at any checkpoint would be good enough). You would quit, but your progress would be saved in a single save spot. Next time you come to box, you can either contiue from your save spot, or start a new adventure (with save spot being removed). This way levels could be lengthy, but you wouldn’t have to do them in one session, which would help tremendously I believe.
With a small adjustement you could also prevent people being screwed due to disconnects as game could autosave you once you get through a gate and you would simply continue from there if you resume after re-login.

World 2 isn’t fun.

Its only 3 days if you manage to beat all 6 zones (and bonus one(s?)). Double, if not more, if you only do World 1 (which is all I do, cause I really hate World 2, specifically the lengths).
