Please add high-heeled designs for footwear / boots / shoes / armor. We know they’re unrealistic in combat but this is a fantasy game and they look great for female characters.
I just recently earned the sanctum model, and I think it would be great if there was a bank slot for it. I really want to keep it, but I also don’t want it clogging up my inventory. I also am still hanging on to the Marjory’s journal. I don’t want to discard it, but I would like to be able to store it somewhere.
Would it be possible to add an “event collectibles” tab in the bank or something in which we could store things like the model and the journal entry? What do you all think?
Gw1 whit gw2 graphic.
I would bring back the entire GW1.
The Stormbow.
I really really want it back.
PvP. So GW2 could have one.
Fun thread.
Keep the talking going folks . Not everything can be done.. but also not everything has been suggested yet. Of course we love to know what you’d love to play.
And we get funny stuff like Taco’s, Waffles, and Clippy. <3
Sylvari kids… quaggan carrying a seed pod?.. just sayin it’s not impossible.
I’m disappointed, there’s no gangnam style dance in it. You get three dances, but the animations are REALLY short, nothing like the normal cultural dances.
Here’s hoping Volume 2 is much better. :o
Not realty here its just a room to stand in why would you need that? If i am going to be afk all day why be online? If i was going to minly events why not do it with ppl out side of your guild?
UNHEARD OF RIGHT. Guild halls in a game called “Guild Wars” most urealistic thing ever heard of. The Guild Halls in GW was IMO one of the most epic things in the game, we had our own merchants, runesmiths, armorers, weaponsmiths as well as many other things as well as the place for your guild to congregate and hold GUILD ONLY events and such. Totally useless.
They only work on creature kills, chests however have a better table then normal kills. We wanted to avoid the game play of killing a boss and then having to equip your whole Magic Find set before opening the chest.
Also magic find is calculated from when the creature is killed so it’s also not viable to use your normal gear set kill a boss then switch to magic find.
For the first time ever ally NPCs are competent and actually able to fight and support!
During the last boss in Molten Weapons Facility dungeon, I was rezzed by either Braham or Rox!
I think it’s awesome that they are actively engaged in the event!
jwaz, I don’t mean to speak for Nachtz, but I’m not sure he/she would disagree with you about what ANet should or should not do, only what they will or will not do. The fact that transmuted Twilights and Sunrises still have purple text, but cannot be used to create Eternity suggests that the purple text is kept as an aesthetic, but the item is no longer a true Twilight or Sunrise.
When ANet releases Ascended weapons and run a script to convert the stats on all existing Legendary weapons to match the new BiS stats, your transmuted Legendaries may very well not get recognized and upgraded. Again, I’m not arguing that’s the way it should be, only that that’s the way it could be.
Just to throw in my two cents, I also think it’s ridiculous that the Legendaries have only 1 stats option. What if you play a zerker or condition build? You would have to take a handicap if you want to use your PVT Legendary. It makes no sense that you have to work so hard for an item that will make you less effective.

It is a valid point; this strategy may actually be backfiring.
I know quite a few players who arn’t actively playing GW2 anymore because they are waiting for “more content”; this short term content tends to fly under the radar and when they finally DO return, they see no new content, shrug and go back to playing something else while they wait.
This strategy is novel; but it might not be working as intended
I can’t help but feel like it’s a strange idea to spend development time on temporary content.
If you look back at older MMOs like Everquest or World of Warcraft or City of Heroes(RIP), they contain a seemingly bottomless pit of content. Years and years of updates and expansions stacked on top of one another make for a wealth of content that newer MMO’s can only hope to obtain in time. Even if it ends up being largely unused as the players keep up with the ever advancing endgame, it allows newer players to see and explore the past. Kind of like how the Southsun Cove is now. It’s fallen into obscurity, but newer players who wern’t around for the event have the oppourtunity to discover the area and explore it.
There are still so many areas of this game that can be filled out. Why spend time on this when you can make more permanent additions to your game and use them as selling points? Just from past updates, I get the impression that the dev team is spread thin enough as it is without tacking on tasks that only have a temporary impact. Spend those resources elsewhere like patch QA, bugfixing, mini games, new zones, polishing the personal story, balancing skills and traits, etc. I think that would be appreciated more than what were getting with the living story now.
You’re going to stop dodging? And killing things? And gathering? What, exactly, are you going to do when you log on?
There’s so much to do in this game and I like to play both PvE and PvP, despite my busy life. Why not allow me to play what I want, when I want to?
This should stay a fun game, not become stressful, boring grind!
I was going to respond to this, but Anet just called and told me I’m not allowed to post on the boards any more until I complete five fractal dungeons.
They also made me throw away my dinner because eating will distract me from dodging when the boss attacks.
Another fun one up right now but I Don’t know how to SS it.
this is getting great, I never liked those groups anyhow. I used to always ping toilet paper. they used to love that.
Some of the holiday SPvP game like Reaper’s Rumble was really good. So why not make a SPvP game for the SAB.
*It would have unique controls and a interface.
*Dark scary looking maps in 16 bit style.
*Maybe make it a shooter like Doom, King’s Field, Castlevania Style
*Dark fantasy theme

This is hilarious. Wait till the last, very last second. I got my title on the 4th. They said the 30th. You have no one to blame but yourself. People that wait till the last seond to do things in life fail.
I’m at about chest 250.
I looted a scepter 8 hours before reset. Then after reset, I looted a sword on my first run. On my third run, I looted a sword and a greatsword. I am now rich. Thank you SAB.
On that note. I’ve never looted any skin from the chest in the 3rd zone. Never. Has any one else?
I have. Yesterday in my first run of the day I pulled a Shortbow AND a Greatsword skin from the third world Boss Chest. That was hilarious xD
Same happened to me. I got a great sword, a shorbow, a dusk, 30 ectos and a lamborghini, all from the same chest.
The grand finale will be the server is shutting down in 3 minutes. Then once we return there will be that vacant spot in that little corner of Rata Sum and sadness will pour out upon the world.
I may have to add the 50 jumps in one place secret now.
He’ll still be selling stuff for two weeks after SAB closes for maintenance.
Using the 10-each recipe, the probability of not receiving a single clover after 6 tries is (2/3)^6 which is about 9% so your luck was not terrible, just “normal”.
If you had used the 1-each recipe, the probability of not receiving a single clover would have been (2/3)^60 which is so small that not a single player in the game could have luck that bad. The number of clovers you would have received would have been with good (one sigma) probability between 16 and 24.
This shows why it’s better to use the 1-each recipe. Incidentally, it also demonstrates the inherent flaw in the acquisition of precursors.
Absolute chaos for three days, until someone Youtubes the walkthrough of the next fastest way to make a gold.
How come the most expensive achievement only has a track but no title to wear?
While at the same breath, owning all cultural armor skins will grant one?
P.S
Still waiting for Sunrise / Twilight legendary track fix.

First off, let me state that I love this game, but I am also not afraid to be critical of it. Let’s face it: Guild Wars 2 is dying already.
Guild Wars 1 was great…I don’t see why so many of the good things from GW1 are missing from this game.
Edit: What I mean by “dying” simply this: Activity is decreasing. I don’t think really anyone can argue with that.

I agree. Precursors should also be super rare. That’s why I feel opening the door to a Scavenger Hunt shouldn’t be implemented. But I think they’re rare enough as is from the MF. Perhaps making them Account Bound would add to their forging values (for individual players of course). Then Legendary wielders would be truly Legendary.
It would only be truly legendary if there was only 1 of each Legendary per server (players with a Legendary wouldn’t be allowed to transfer server to one that already has a player with that same Legendary on it), and that Legendary would have to be earned by beating the most difficult monster in the most hidden place after finishing the most difficult jumping puzzle in the game.
Lol at people thinking that buying a Legendary at a high price makes an item truly legendary.xD
