I don’t understand their not letting us know how long the festival will last. What’s the point? People might like to know how long they have to complete achievements, mine candy corn, etc.

There were lots of light armor skins, weapon skins and gliders in the store last time I checked. Wonder what happened to them all…

Would it be possible to make these merchable? since there are so many of them available on the market/in-game, Only thing people can do with them is basically destroy them or wait months to sell them at minimum price.

Probably should have just posted here to begin with.

I can’t pull up the npc for the Personal Trader/Merchant Express when someone else has already spawned any npc in the area, and that gets a little irritating. I know that we don’t want to enable npc spamming, so I’d like the permanent versions to just open the appropriate window, like how the Permanent Bank Access Express already does.

On a similar note, it would be nice if another player’s npc that I can’t interact with would be invisible to me.

I’m afraid I have to disagree with Na, as there is a very good reason why the Asura might want to avoid the northernmost islands. That being that Abbadon’s Mouth, an extra-dimensional gate, is located on one of those islands. There is also a second bloodstone there as well. Without knowing what might be around it or what might be coming out of it, the Asura likely chose to avoid the risk.

Step 1. Nerf all vanilla Minor Traits.
Step 2. Allow vanilla specializations to be “upgraded” into Elite specializations once placed into the third elite slot; gaining new minor traits to define the spec.

The slot where you can place your elite spec should upgrade any vanilla trait line into an elite specialization with new minor traits which are stronger and which define the elite.

- No need for new profession mechanics (i.e. all new shroud like Reaper shroud). All that is needed is a simple but defining tweak to the overall playstyle.

EXAMPLE: Placing Blood Magic in the necromancers third specialization line will upgrade it into the Vampire elite spec. The new minors cold look something like

Tier 1 Minor: Blood Shroud – You gain 33% of all incoming healing effects while in shroud. Does not apply to siphons.
Tier 2 Minor: Vampiric – Same as before but increases the effectiveness of all siphones by 20%
Tier 3 Minor: Unnatural Shift – Your dodge rolls are replaced with a shadowstep with slightly increased range. Gain 1 second of quickness after dodging.

Might seem strong but, hell, so do elite specs.

None of the Major traits will be effected. This keeps things a bit more simple while still providing a very hefty buff to vanilla specs.

Making the elite spec Minors exceptionally stronger than non-elite specs will help define the playstyles of the elite specs; making traits easier to balance overall. (by having one definitive leading specialization.)

EDIT:

Btw, yes, that would mean every class would have access to 5 vanilla elite specs. (albeit without as much stuff like new weapons and new class mechanics)

Is there anyway you can change these so that they are infusions rather then gems. I think people would get a lot more use of them if this was changed.

Better yet, a MF recipe to upgrade them to infusions… that way peeps have a choice.

:) Friends List upgraded Make everyone on my friends list name one specific color, like you do with people in your guild is one color. I would love to be able to go fight in the world of Tyria, and see people on my friends list. Having my friends list character names lit up with just one color, so I know that person is on my friends list, and that would intern make it easier to play with them out in the world of Tyria.

I’d like to pose a question and make a suggestion. Why does a name change contract cost AS MUCH as a brand new character slot? I personally believe that you halved the price of a name change, you would increase sales of them exponentially. Why would someone waste their money/gems on a name change when, for the same price, they could just create a new toon? Please consider this request, as I’m not EVER going to buy a name change as long it costs so much… Oh and one other thing, why doesn’t a TOTAL Makeover Kit NOT include a name change? If I change the sex of the toon, it will most likely no longer have an appropriate name.. Thanks for your time.

He really does answer to Steve. It’s happened more times than not.

When we do our run through the labyrinth, ie Candy Corn Boarder lands or CCBL for short we call out for him at his home. If we don’t reach him there, i know that we can find him at his friends King candy’s home, (Candy Corn viscount) telling him how the tart Aggie that broke his heart. I can always hear Steve say AGGIE!!!! YOU DIDN’T CALL!!!!!!!! Everyone he charges us with that chainsaw spinny attack.

We’ve tried letting him down easy, but man dude can’t take a hint.

I initially called him Larry but everyone was calling him Steve so I started calling him that. Maybe Larry is a good name for him since Steve was taken.

The community has been calling him Steve for more than 2 years now.

I have to said good job for anet disgen team on that outfit , keep up the good job and more outfits like that one

Couldn’t greater efforts be made to expand the Gem Store in ways that encourage sales? The Gem Store ought to be an actual Gem Store. Rather than a small window make it an instance where we can go and try on armour and outfits and equip weapons, tools and toys. Have displays we can walk around and launch seasonal offerings with shows.

The preview window is always too small to actually appreciate the items and if we could enter a space with friends and try things on the Gem store experience would be enhanced. It could be housed in Lion’s Arch in The Vaults area. I’d spend more and perhaps more importantly I’d be happier to spend more if I could buy what I wanted and appreciate it more fully before I paid for it.

Destroy Lion’s Arch? What Lion’s Arch? I don’t see any cities which resemble Lion’s Arch at all. OOOH! You mean Disney Waterpark? yea, they can destroy that.
