It has to be a free account thing. I think I was level 4 or so when I jumped from Rata Sum through the portal to LA. No issues.
It’s Halloween event time and you didn’t add Bat Wings back into the gem store? What are you thinking? Black Wings, yes, but not Bat Wings? Which more exemplifies the Halloween motif?
Ok, mini-rant done with. I’ve been waiting for ‘em for months, and I doubt I’m the only one. I am disappoint.
Apologies to any who misinterpreted this post’s title. ;-)
I wish we had a tonic closet, similar to the finishers one.
Add a tonic to the closet and it’ll show how many uses, just like limited finishers.+1
+1
I hope Anet considers this idea.
As to OP: I like Tonics and Minis. I don’t like 20 Queens Janna’s or 48 Risen Balthazar Priests.
….. And Elementalist.
I agree it would be so nice to use skeleton tonic with fight. Infinite Watchknight Tonic is usable in fight so why not all humanoid tonics?
Personally, I’d love to see a “Hellfire Skeleton” outfit, instead of a tonic. I made the unlimited one, but I wanna be a burning skeleton in combat :P
And it has human emotes, which means its based on the human rig and it is totally possible for it to at least be a combat tonic, and still likely for it to be an outfit so long as people are okay with losing their races animations.
But ANet, for some inexplicable reason, just keeps choosing NOT to use the new features they add to the game.

pleae dont call me a tonic or a mini
Bloin – Running around, tagging Keeps, getting whack on Scoobie Snacks.
There are so many other things in the game, we have toys, travel toys, gliding, outfits; we now have cosmetic slots for auras and armor animations, and who knows what else ANet has up its sleeve.
So can we please stop getting a dozen tonics and minis for every single event? Particularly the tonics, which just sit in peoples inventory or storage never being used save for the three weeks a year when costume brawl is on the daily docket. I have half a dozen tonics I had completely forgotten I even owned until I thought about this.
What inspires this the most is the Shadow Raven Tonic, pop that thing while gliding, it looks amazing, this would have been my favorite glider in the game. And then you have others that would make great travel items, or great cosmetic infusion slot additions.
But instead, it’s a tonic, and a mini, they’re all tonics and minis, everything is a tonic and mini!
We have a snow glider and a wildflower glider. How about a glider for autumn? Falling leaves glider!
It wouldn’t matter how they designed it, it woulda still gotten a vitriolic response. Even if it’s not one’s cup of tea, it’s cruelly disrespectful to not recognize the time and effort put into its design.
I think it’s cool, and it’s too bad I don’t have the energy to put into raiding to earn it.

get a new computer and this belong in the tech forum.
Have a new computer, this type of response is neither helpful or relevant
Guildie was using the SAB Boombox and I had the idea of getting music packs that you could load on it to play different music sets. Halloween, Winter’s Day, the SAB music, HoT tunes, tons of options out there.
Plus add a public “pool” in Lions Arch near the mystic forge where you automaticly change to your underpants when you go swimming there.
Wow! Yes!!
I would like to see a template system like GW1 where you could save your build and load saved ones. Having to switch builds between WvW, Dugeons, general PvE… even for Halloween XD I forget what build I was using before, I’d have to write it down somewhere I guess.
GW1 had a great system of being able to save your skill bar and attribute points so you could choose a build on the fly for whatever you were doing next.
https://www.facebook.com/groups/1541603656116240/ is my new gw2 page, just for fun, it dont matter if you are eu or us, im just trying to build a big community, hope to see you all soon
I’ve been wanting to make some Guild Wars 2 themed artwork for a while now and since Halloween was coming up, I thought it’d be a great time! Here is a quaggan dressed up as a witch and ready to trick-or-treat! Unfortunately she’s been spooked by a rather cute looking ghost! Is it a quaggan ghost? It could be! Let’s hope it doesn’t steal the quaggan’s treats!
I had a lot of fun working on this!

DR is meant for bot and “exploits”…..but I am a legit player T_T
And that there is the exact problem; It punishes the many because of the few and it is a cheap and lazy way to counter Bot problems and exploits.

Anet pleeeeeeeeeease make the helm of the ghostly outfit standalone. Would easily pay 1000 gems for it by itself. It’s what the people want!
Lol is this a serious thread? You read some posts on the absolute worst part of the forums and think the game is suddenly no longer worth playing? If you haven’t noticed before the profession forums are always full of people who constantly complain about their main classes being nerfed and needing buffs. You will hardly ever find any objective posts there because some people can never get past personal interest.
Personally I found this update to be rather mild, nothing to big.
Honesty is not insulting, stupidity is.
>Class Balance is a Joke<

Things should all have their niches and high points, saying all classes should be capable of all of the same things is quite silly.
And that’s not what I typed, nor implied. There should be more than one way to skin a Gorseval.

There is. I’ve done no updraft kills without chronomancers, with engineers (power scrappers too), like 5 hammer guardians. There are many ways to skin a gorseval. Don’t slash the ankles of what works to fill a certain niche in such a staggeringly stupid manner as to simply make an entire class worth entirely less than another (necro).
One guy even had warband support man.
It comes down to the players, not the game. They’re changing the game however, for 0 reason.
These changes were entirely backward. Buff, not nerf, other classes.

And that’s not what I typed, nor implied. Professions should have their niches, strengths, and high points, but that doesn’t mean any of those should always be required. There should be more than one way to skin a Gorseval.

Whoever designed this deserves a kudos for the art piece on reverse side. Looks like a landscape of some creepy branches cast against the backdrop of a moon.
Agreed, I would shove my wallet with 5000 gravital force through my screen if that headpiece was a solo-sale. I’d easily pay a 1000 gems for that!
Headpiece looks great – the rest of it is just decent.
Why can’t we mix and match this headpiece with our regular armor again?
In the attached image is a gem store item that has not been released yet, which looks AMAZING!
Something I hear over and over from the community and friends is that people don’t that the outfits are not individual armor pieces and I always defend ANETS choice on why they exist, there place in the game, why they are a solid skin ect ect.
But if I could ask you to break that rule if not on the most unique piece in each outfit then just do it this once for the head piece on the outfit I linked, I would pay 800 gems for that no problem just to see it with my current gear on my characters and not on an outfit. I would buy the outfit as well because it looks amazing as I said in the start, but just please make the helmet a stand alone skin.
I love guild wars 2 and want to see it adapt and grow into something more amazing each time and I think this will be a good stepping stone into easing the communities feelings on outfits.
