Guild Wars 2

I have been playing Guild Wars since the release of the first game. Today I tried logging on to my account for the first time in ages. (I’m in the army and was deployed, so I have been unable to play.) My password wouldn’t work and I had misplaced the serial # for my account, so I couldn’t reset my password. I submitted a ticket to the support team with all the information I could about my account (name, address, character names, etc.) and within 8 hours received an email back. They sent me a password reset link that did not require my serial number! I just want to say that the caliber of their customer service/support team is amazing. It is part of the reason I have always bought their games and will continue to support them in their future products.

I’ve seen it in other games and its not good. I would turn it off.

I have no idea what Anet have said about it, but if they ever do add it I’ll turn it off as soon as I log in.

90% would be the nonsense spam-chat we get in LA, the rest would be all the people in all the zones who currently spam map with “Can anyone tell me how to get this vista?” “How do I do this?” “Where is the next story” etc. with no hint of where they are or what they’re talking about, but even more confusing because now you won’t even know what map they’re on and can’t even narrow it down to the ones most people struggle with.

Anyone wanting to actually have a conversation or get practical help will need to stick to /say and /map in order to restrict it to people actually doing similar things.

If you want to fight SoR, you know where they are. No amount of name calling is really going to change it. WvW is baseball, the richest teams usually win. EOTM is like the football, everyone is on equal footing. That is why football is king in the US.

If SoR is just doing this to get out of T1 faster, all power to you since the low morale caused by staying in T1 is really not healthy for your server anymore. However I would suggest you guys shed a bit more guilds (especially your OCX/SEA guilds), otherwise you would be back in T1 in no time….

SoR still has ocx guilds? Oh wait thats right we don’t have any left.

Hire, GC

Most of HIRE has merged into GC and most of GC is leaving for ESO.

I was completely unaware that we merged into GC, you should’ve told us first that way all of us could merge properly… don’t leave us in the dark for these kind of things!!! I mean, If i’m still HIRE, why do I get asked to lead when Rai logs? GC should have most of the people right?

I love the map aswel, good design, good mechanics, few flaws and few OP things. But it gets there. Already laughed so kitten TS playing there.

And we still have queues on AG, not long ones, but they never were long. Most people still prefer WvW above EOTM. EOTM is just to blow off some steam.

I hadn’t played this game in months because I got bored after dinging 80. Now I picked it up few days ago, logged to my lvl 80 character. I finished my personal storyline for the first time, got me some sweet new epic gear and now I’m pumped up to do dailies and get achievements and roaming around, trying to do World Completion. And the LC seems interesting too. Edge of the Mists let me catch up to the Scarlet thingie storyline and now I’m waiting for it to continue. This game has improved so much.

Short and sweet: Feels fun again!

T1 will be fine. BG and JQ have a pretty intense rivalry now and will be at each other’s throats up until a 3rd server rises up to give us both a scare. It isn’t that hard for any server, T1 or T2, to fill up EB during prime time and have a useful force on their home BL; WvW plays reasonably well when two servers have a map presence, and if it gets lopsided in a particular time zone we’ll spill over into Edge more.

Scores are going to be really volatile the next couple weeks. I wouldn’t read too much into it.

If servers decide they want to move entirely to Edge, more power to them. The servers that still feel like playing the classic maps will rise to the top and battle each other for the top spots.

Someone referred to that site as a ‘cesspit’. I am inclined to agree with him.

Yes all the forum trolls and players that liked to write bad comments on the official forums that caused the official forums to get shut down migrated there. Now all the trolls just troll each other because they have no one else to troll anymore.

Oh my god, because T1 NA ain’t doing good because of maxed stacked servers, WvW is doomed? Drama much.

We in EU barely notice Eotm, still got good match ups, good fights and good numbers on all sides. Maybe unstack a little and find out there is a world besides who can buy the most guilds.

Eotm is a fun place to blow off some steam after the more ‘serious’ WvW. It wont replace it, maybe for servers doomed to fight a 24/7 maxed out blob server but not for the ones who still get good fights. I think Anet did great with their addition.
