To be honest, this forum has the worst search function I have ever seen.
Agreed, 100G for 1 char only is a bit much, especially if like me you have 10
@Rune….If you open up the Trading Post/Gem Store, you will find many things for sale, including character slots, bank expansion slots, personal inventory expansion slots, upgrades for your account, etc. Browse through it some time, you might be amazed at what’s on offer! =)
You can buy up to a max of 64 character slots per account, as one person discovered to his sorrow.
He wanted 128 characters.
This is the best troll Ive seen in my life! What en excellent preformance to de-rail a topic. Hats off, sir.

Report them! They’re using 3rd party software to have teamwork. Cheaters!

LOL! I don’t think he understands what the User Agreement is saying.
You can’t use 3rd party software that INTERACTS with Guild Wars 2. Team Speak, Ventrillo, and Mumble are all software yes, but they interact with your computer’s OS. With your interpretation of the rules, you shouldn’t be allowed to have an Anti-Virus prog running in the background, let alone hardware drivers, or even Windows itself.
Never going to happen and nor should it.
no, its bad idea…
The main issue with this is guilds.
Myself being in a WvW guild I could see rather big problems with getting the whole guild in together to do events if we had newbies with us. They would simply have to wait in line much longer than our senior members which would make organizing events quite hard.

I understand where you’re coming from, but I too spend most of my time in wvw and I often play my alts, so my ranks won’t reflect the time I’ve put in. I don’t want this adopted because it’ll punish people with alts (like me.)
I have a really bad memory and I have been farming today for a combo of dungeon sets and I want to do Arah but I completely forgot what paths I did for it today.. Or if I did one, I really can’t remember!
I wish there was some way you can check the specific dungeon paths we have done for the day, perhaps in the achievement panel? Otherwise for now.. I’ll have to write them down and I don’t remember exactly which ones I have done today
Make commander account wide, because they can lead zergs. It’s quite anoying when you can t lead zergs with alts.
I’m thinking the API for the search function needs to be scraped and rebuild from scratch, getting a little tired of this search breaking all the time.
If I don’t see it happen in the game, it didn’t happen.
Then I’m out of ideas. The warning comes up for me about the lines and the maximum of lines, once that was taken care of I had your sig as in my above post as text (which shows up/changes after you post something).
I don’t know much about browsers themself, try maybe using a different one?
“Whose Charr is this?”- “Ted’s.”
“Who’s Ted?”- “Ted’s dead, baby. Ted’s dead.”
I’m not sure I’d let kids play this game, they’ll grow up to be gambling addicts.
There should continue to be one commander tag that costs 100g and that you have to buy. Perhaps there can be an alternate way to buy it that costs 90g and a lot of BoH.
That one commander tag should have several options
1. Party commander – only appears to members of your party
2. Guild commander – only appears to members of your guild
3. Squad commander – only appears to members of your squad
4. Map commander – appears to all players on your map
Every time you put up your commander tag, you pick which one you want. Each type appears as a different color. This creates a situation where people can:
1. Easily keep track of a “leader” of their party (done now primarily by targeting)
2. Allow for large guild groups or allow guild members to see their guild leader easily during PvE events (e.g. finding a guild bounty on the map)
3. Allow for a beginning commander to have a group of people follow him/her and practice without having everyone on the map follow them/extect that they know exactly what they are doing
4. Allow more experienced commanders to take responsibility for leading the majority of the map
Obviously if someone with no experience wants to throw up the map commander tag they will be able to but as others have said, eventually people will stop following them. For those who want to work their way up to map commander, they are able to.
thanks! .. I was just killing the enemies and walking away lol
Every map will have door-looking icons. Go there, trick or treat them and after defeating some enemies they will open up. Interact with them to teleport to the mad king realm, then from there interact with the halloween pumpking thingie on the floor to get teleported to the Mad King Labyrinth!
“You can’t have more than 10 HS decks because that would confuse people”
“30 fps is more cinematic”
Of course there are tons of things that we would like to see implimented, and most of them more vital than this. But that doesn’t mean we say no to something just because we want something else, too. Talk up all the ideas worth having and let AreaNet see a unified community on these topics, it’s more likely to sway them than when we bring other things down or side-step it because it isn’t the “most important” thing we could have updated.

If they are going to do silly skins, then I’d suggest that it be something they do it on April Fool’s Day. Everyone’s weapon take on the appearance of some really silly skin for the day. Imagine twilight as a balloon sword, mad moon shield appears as a chocolate chip cookie with a bite taken out, a focus appears as a big foam finger, pistols and rifles take on the colorful looks of super soaker water guns and so on. Armor could transform too. Heavy armor takes on the look of a clown with big floppy shoes and baggy pants, medium armor takes on the look of a mime, and light armor is made entirely of balloons with silly balloon hats. There could also be a mini game that is clown themed with rewards to let you obtain any or all of the silly skins to apply to real weapons, or if not skins just consumable tonics that let you temporarily change your appearance to the silly skin look for a short time. The mini game could have skills like:
“prat fall”-player falls down causing opponent to burst out laughing (stunned for 2s). Player bleeds for 3 s.
“squirting flower”-player shoots stream of water from lapel flower at opponent doing x amount of damage.
“banana peel”-player lays down trap causing opponent to be knocked down when triggered.
“pie in the piehole”-player launches pie at opponent causing x amount of damage.
“to the moon Alice”-player points to the sky causing opponent to look up (dazed 1-2s), player then has a follow up skill combo that shoots out a boxing glove Tom and Jerry style to their opponent’s face.
“curly shuffle”-player drops to the floor running on his side in a circle causing opponent knock down and damage.
“eye gouge”-player attempts to poke opponent’s eyes one-handed ‘Moe style’, causing x damage. If blocked, alternate skill allows player to attempt eye gouge with two hands.
“nyuck nyuck”-multipurpose blocking/dodging skill (requires timing the block just right). When used against ‘eye gouge’, player can block first attack using the one-handed ‘Curly style’ hand to the face. When used against ‘pie to the piehole’, player ducks thrown pies. When used against “squirting flower”, player dodges water stream followed by a secondary retaliation skill giving the player the opportunity to attack opponent using a seltzer bottle with a more powerful stream causing greater damage.
“what’s that behind you?”-for 5s, player gains 33% speed buff, becomes invisible and skill changes to secondary attack skill “pantsing” which lets the player from melee range pull down opponent’s pants causing opponent to be immobile for 2s.
“you broke my Stradivarius!”-player smashes violin over opponent’s head causing damage.
Just to name some funny possibilities.

That is awesome that you did that Lonesamurai! I hope they listen to you.

Wow.
I see the point of being selective about what charitable causes to promote as a company. However , I don’t think anyone is going to say, “Yeah, I’m pro cancer so I’m quitting GW2”
That being said, I would definitely purchase gem items where proceeds go to research, funding of treatments, grief counseling, ect… for cancer.
They could release t-shirts (mentioned earlier), hats, hoodies, back items, dyes (mentioned earlier), harvesting equipment, weapon skins, armor skins, fireworks, pink roses, pretty much anything. I would love to see an in memory of candle.
Aye
I even pointed this thread out to CC Danicia in hope it would get ANet involved, lets hope they do some ingame charity stuff huh?

Simply “da sonic”. You are too fast! Slow down to ridiculous speed!

“Whose Charr is this?”- “Ted’s.”
“Who’s Ted?”- “Ted’s dead, baby. Ted’s dead.”
Until I can combat in town clothes, ANet will never get my money for them.
thank you astral for response they clearly don’t want us to know the number limit on inractions.
Of course not. That would be like asking a traffic cop “How far above the speed limit can I go before you nail me?”
The numbers are internal. The behavior is yours. Choose wisely and you never will feel the need to ask this question.

Howdy all! I got a call (while I am at home with dinner and family) that you all still had concerns, and wanted to know why I locked that post.
Normally, the OP made would have been removed, as we do not allow discussions of Moderation, policies, and Moderator actions on the forums.
I decided to halt that, and respond, hopefully engaging folks and answer questions.
I decided to close it for a couple of reasons. The first? I was leaving for the day and did not want everyone to feel like they were left hanging (as people say we do when we get in these discussions).
I wanted to refer folks to the forum email box, so I could respond to further questions and comments to bring back to the Community. Whilst we’d all like to sit in one thread and respond to it, we have a lot of other duties which call our attention.
By referring to the proper channel for feedback (forums@arena.net), I can compile these easily and start fresh with our feedback.
So, if you do have further concerns & questions, please send them in. I’m going to go back to my family, my rescue kittens, and my stout. I do appreciate the feedback and I promise to follow up once we have a better plan in place for you. (Plus you may see some neat things before then).
Thanks all.
