Rangers should be able to use these as a pet. Seriously.
I think this is awesomely hilarious and I hope they keep it that way

One quickly learns not to let the angry chickens get mad at oneself. They breed them tough in Ebonhawke, and always have.
If you must pulverize poultry, please peruse other places for pullets to preserve your peace of mind.
Haha, beautiful post in a wonderful thread

cool and it would be even cooler if they put on some achievement involving them

It’s Josh Foreman’s initials in New Krytan. He has these hidden all over Tyria. There are at least two of them in LA.
It’s not quite a secret, just not well known. It’s a Dev’s signature. There are a couple of them.
My guess is that these two maps are the most popular because they are on the extreme ends of the level line (1-17 for Queensdale and 70-80 for Frostgorge). Frostgorge also lacks the annoying Risen present in Orr, which makes it substantially easier to navigate.
It could also have something to do with the champs in these two maps being close to waypoints, but I’m just guessing.
“Memories are nice, but that’s all they are.”
to be honest with you, I would write a support ticket and ask. Just in case your account(s) get suspended for what so ever reason, you would have something to rely on and you would know for sure if you’re allowed to do tho.
If we look at the ToS nothing speaks against using a 2nd account when used correctly. But again, ToS change all the time and only Anet would be able to tell you if that’s ok.
Normally I would agree that you should check what you’re buying/choosing before you get it. But for an item that’s specifically designed to be given to brand new players the first time they log on I think this really needs to be made clearer.
Other than the stuff your character starts with (which you don’t get to pick) this is very likely to be the first armor set a new player gets. Depending how much they’ve read about the game they might not even know there are different kinds of armor, or they might assume that the ones they’re offered are appropriate to their character so it wouldn’t surprise me if this mistake gets made a lot.
Ambience: You could give the Krytan set to any ranger, thief or engineer character (since they wear medium armor) by putting it in the bank (look for a yellow money bag icon in any city), or you could contact support and ask them to swap it for the Primeval set which your warrior could wear.

I too would like animated dyes. They could be exotic rarity also – to distinguish them amongst other dyes.
Personally, I would love some sort of glowing dye – similar to the effects of radiant gloves/helm/mantle (or even chaos gloves in GW1), as well as a transparent/ghostly dye and a pulsating lava-like dye, similar to the effects of the hellfire gloves/helm/mantle. I believe they’d be extremely popular.
Cool idea, but probably belongs in suggestions forum.
Very cool idea though..surprised my superior intellect has not thought of this.
So, my turret crew in Sparkfly was chatting last night about dyes, and we thought; dyes with particle effects?
Violet dyes that shed little silver shimmers could be called Starlight. White dye with snowflakes, etc.
I know people are split on particle effects being too prevalent, and I am afraid to get the idea so tangled up in RNG that only three players can ever afford it anyway, but we thought it sounded amazing.
Good afternoon,
I don’t “think” there is another post about this and if there is an existing function that does this please let me know.
But it would be great for guild leaders to be able to send out a mass guild mail to all members.
I suggest you contact customer support, cus it definitely isn’t working as intended.

While we’re at it, what’s going on with Viathan Lake in Kessex these days?
~Surrender fiend and you will get an easy death

This sounds like a fun idea. I don’t have any notion of the programming side of how it could be implemented, but I like it a lot. +1 Community to you for thinking it up!

Jade Quarry since launch then I started wandering the borderlands of Yak’s Bend
I think the search for the weapon master type people at level 80 for special and flashy skills would give level 80’s something more to do and give them the feeling that they are still progressing after level 80.
Hello hammer,
If you look in the Wiki @ http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Item_nomenclature , you will see that at dual attributes (lower level gear) there is no combination with Power and Tougnhess.
At higher levels there are combinations of Power and Toughness in different type of gear.
/cheers
Likely screenshots are “raw data” before it’s adjusted for you’re gamma setting in game. Likely it’s a feature so you can mess with it out of game with a photo editing package.

One of Vallun’s guildmates here. If this guy is a bot we’re all doomed, because they could outplay just about all of us. Please unban him, we need him for GvG tomorrow.
Please don’t raise support to someones elses issue. It is against the forum rules. Doing so can lead to annoyance by the people reviewing the case and can actually have a negative impact.
I would think a reviewer would like to see that people care. If bumping is the issue, then i’d tell them not to, but I think humanity is something that this kind of case hinges on (determining if automated or not).

EEveryone is kinda helpful ,much more than other games,as opposed to just a few people trying to help out a newb.(me not being one of them :P )Not sure what the reason for this is but it is pleasant to observe.
Actually, this is something that deserves to be pointed out:
If you see someone fighting something, feel free to run up and start smacking it around as well. There’s no kill stealing/diminished experience/only-one-person-gets-the-loot nonsense here!
The entire game is pretty much set up to reward you for helping others.

“Oil down.” “Mortar down.” “Stupid arrow cart.”
OMG you people are lazy. Firstly, just use the luck as you get it, and maybe just leave 1 as your placeholder for the next few that you get. Now if you want to talk about removing something really annoying, how about the purchase confirmation for some vendors where you can only buy 1 item at a time. “Are you sure you want to buy this?” Yes “Are you sure you want to buy this?” Yes “Are you sure you want to buy this?” Yes…OMG YES FOR CRYING OUT LOUD I NEED TO BUY 100 OF THESE!
t(>.<)tAt least with the luck it’s just a bunch of clicks without confirmation and as stated in another response you can take a bunch all at once to craft into higher amount lucks to reduce your clicking. Sorry if you have to take just a little time to travel to do that, but it’s the price for the convenience.
Well I guess the same could be said for the person that suggested the “loot all in the area” option that has recently been implemented but hey I would never judge them for it.
We all judge. Just some of us claim we don’t. I never really had a problem before with looting each body as I really would not have a problem with a consume all option, but both really are just a way to be lazier about it, now is it not? My earlier point was merely to show that there are many other “annoyances” that should be removed before adding something that is more of a “convenience” than it is an “annoyance”.
Well what is a “convenience” option for you, is an “annoyance” quality of life upgrade for others. May I also point out, calling someone lazy because of a suggestion they make or a suggestion they agree with, is an unnecessary response.
