You know what would be cool? If you made this survey via something like survey monkey so we could see the results at a glance: https://www.surveymonkey.com/
Just make sure that in the survey you clearly define your terms.
Glad you found it so quickly – and as you’ve found Cubular Fells you should try out the jumping puzzle there, its a good one

Ahh thanks a lot Lexy. Turns out I missed a really small area in Mount Maelstrom called Cubular Fells.
Guesting around a bit first is smart, so you can get a feel for a server, especially if you usually play at a certain time of day.
Really, I’m sure any of the upper-ranked WvW servers will probably be good, simply because that suggests they have a high population. I’ve been on Jade Quarry since launch, and I can’t say I’ve ever felt the world was too short on people, even if some areas are naturally more crowded than others.
Haha 5 months later, Mace gallery is here!
Agree. Technically it is free to travel there going through pvp/wvw portals, through the lions arch portals, into the main cities….but that’s a lot of loading screens to go through. It would be nice if they could just cut out the middle man and have a portal straight to your home instance.
With the addition of new content to our Home Instance, it would be nice if there were a button in the upper left corner (like the ones to enter The Mists and WvsW) that leads us there.
Sexy and skimpy for most people are normally linked my friend.
Not really . Some of the greatest sex symbols rarely wore skimpy cloths . More often than not i link skimpy with street walkers not sexy .
Pretty simple suggestion, I think it would be a nice little addition if Arena Net would implement a zone indicator for the heart quests which would highlight on the mini-map the borders of the zones in which a heart quest can be completed.
So in essence:
Mouse over the yellow heart on the mini-map, and a zone lights up on the map showing you where you should look to complete the quest.
Any combination of classes will work as long as the people controlling them knows what they are doing. That is basically a summary of a bunch of different things in GW2.
Rangers get a lot of hate, but they’re actually really good. Warhorn has a mini “FGJ” and sword deals a decent amount of damage. Frost spirit and spotter adds a great deal of damage to your whole party. Dagger swap offhand has a free dodge. Overall it’s a great class if you play it right.
Thief deals a ton of damage and gets a lot better if the group is setting up might for him. They also bring stealth for tough skipping sections.
I’d personally pick ranger.
Sexy and skimpy for most people are normally linked my friend.
that’s because most ppl don’t realize the difference, it’s the few who do who need to teach ppl the difference.
I think “variety” is the word we’re looking for. I think ridiculously skimpy female armor is hilarious, but if you’re not looking to giggle at your character’s ludicrous miniskirt-of-straps there should be other options.
And this goes for both genders; I’ve seen at least 3 threads where the guys are requesting a toggle to hide their chest piece so they can go shirtless.
^Because the train is made of people?
I mean, bots are not punished for making profit, they are punished for using an illegal software to play for them.

It is Light Armor, … you want female mages to wear heavy plate armor ?
To be honest, I want my female mesmer to wear a long dress or a robe.
My sylvari elementalist wears TA armor, but I really wanted a long skirt for my human mesmer that was not made of foliage, open on the front or with pants underneath. I’m good with the tops. Most of them are pretty and could make nice dresses with the right skirt (that does not exist at the moment, imo). For now, I’m wearing cultural tier 2, but I really hate the pants.
PS.: I have no problem with skimpy armor. It just doesn’t fit my characters, so I avoid it. I used skimpy armor on my silvari for a while, before getting the TA set, because I love the bioluminescence so much.

Hey guys, I’ve been working on this in my spare time. I still have a lot more planned for it, but I wanted to go ahead and post what I have so far. The future version will include a cleaner layout, more precise data, and a graph which displays the trade off between your secondary stats and crit damage for each piece of equipment. Feed back is always welcome. I’m a very visual person so I hope this helps out others in the community as much as it has me
Critical Impact [Crit]
Eh just running around the world (world bosses, the LS, events, and a couple of hours in wvw) I think I gained about 600k-700k karma since the nerf. And that’s usually only playing maybe 2-3 hours a night max, more on weekends.
It’s funny that if you don’t need it (I already have all my oby shards) it builds up pretty quick, but if you do need it, it takes forever to gain.
Edit: Oh and having a karma infusion helps.
A lot of those aren’t all that skimpy, compared to other MMOs or even to other armors in the game. In fact, my fiance happen to like the more revealing armor sets. She spent a lot of time creating her character and wants to show them off, lol.

Ranger with pets makes it a breeze to do PvE content, would definitely go with that one.

why not make it so that the only champions that drop good stuff are the difficult ones, that will certainly lower the demand on lower level champion zergs and makes the champions that barely to never get killed by zergs allot more popular.
i am actually against zerg farms and farming in general, i just don’t see farming a part of the game nor do zergs.
better yet, i hope Anet discourages farming and makes ppl work together in order to get better rewards, it’s a social game not a train sim.Unfortunately in GW2, once you’re an 80, if you don’t farm in some way, shape, or form, it’s next to impossible to get good gear. If the gem to gold conversion was not there, then items on the TP, especially top end items, would not be nearly so expensive, then I could agree that farming should be less a part of the game.
i have quite decent gear yet i never farmed anything in GW2, it’s simply the lack of imagination that makes ppl farm because they think max everything is the only way to go.
FWIW, my son (5) loves engineer the best.
We have the GW2 Official Strategy Guide book, and he likes to go through and read the skill descriptions literally for an hour at a time. (He’s weird, what can I say.) Anyway, it was given to me as a gift when it came out, and rather pricey at the time, but you might be able to find one for cheaper now that it’s been out a while.
There is an astounding amount of unsolicited parenting advice in this thread. OP asked a question about class choice, not about the suitability of the game for young children.
That said, my seven and nine-year-old kids have characters on my account (for PvE). I supervise them, turn off chat, and there has never been a problem. They both seem to really enjoy Ranger and, to a lesser extent, Warrior.
Edit: I have to also add in that my eldest, like all his friends, plays a fair bit of Minecraft as well. Between the two games, I think that GW2 has the better community and is more suitable for children.
To chat to the entire map, you type /m or /map to change your chat to zone-wide chat. There is no Server-wide or World-wide chat function.
Also, make sure you have the map box ticked in the drop-down menu to be able to see your own chat and others’.
