I like to roam while my guild isn’t on, and when I am out there i generally follow simple rules.
1. Don’t Double team people unless they got jumped, or if they are gonna stomp your servermate
2. Don’t stomp the guy if he fought honorable
3. If its a kitteny kitten thief who tried to jump you, stomp his kitten then /laugh

All of the CD currently in the jumping puzzle are quite possibly the worst players I’ve ever seen. 3 hours, a 6v1, and a 10v2 and you finally manged to kill me.

They could just be silly little PvErs that don’t know better. Just a thought since Anet decided to place an Achievement at the end of the EBJP, which was a cruel joke for the PvErs.

I thought that initially until I saw their WvW ranks. Most of them are 40+. Almost all of them were from the same guild and based on the use of traps looked somewhat familiar with the puzzle. The past 3 hours have been quite comical.

A d/p thief huh? Tell me more about how hard it is to avoid being killed please.

SBI and CD I’ve missed you guys so much. I feel like I’m seeing friends I haven’t seen in a decade.

Played for less than an hour, and I already missed you guys. So much more fun than Boring Pass and their infinite amount of ACs.

That reminds me of a story.

I got into a PuG that didn’t want ‘another’ ranger since we were so useless. It was the Fire and Ice dungeon. We got there, and the entire group wiped on those last two bosses.

Everyone, but me that is.

And I soloed them.

The first one went down and the entire party rezzed. And a minute later, the party died again. Yes, you guess it. I soloed him too and got everyone the chest and achievement.

The point isn’t to brag. The point is to tell you that sometimes it’s up to you to prove the group wrong. Yeah, it’s an uphill battle, especially with recent changes, but if that group or guild was that ignorant, they did you the favor of self-identifying their stupidity.

Consider it a blessing in disguise.

yeh 99% of people aren’t going to waste time paying gold for runes and tinkering with traits. it’s like would you retune a car every time you went for a drive? no. it’s annoying.

wow..tonight SBI has had 50-70 people in SBI BL 50-70 in BPBL, a full que in eternal, and 20-30 people in ARBL for 4 hours.

BP has had 30 in BPBL, 30 in eternal, 10 in ARBL, 10 in SBI BL. Aside from that we have had a group of 50-60 that we have been map hopping, we have saved keeps in all BL’s back and forth and swapping maps every 10 mins to quickly whipe without even having time to sweep a keep, leaving the commander on the map to sweep and lock the door.

I have gotten 1k kills so far in 4 hours, we have wiped a zerg of 50+ AT LEAST 15 times tonight, and most of the people following are similar kills. We have lost garrison and hills to sneak attack 6 omegas + 50 people, we had scouts but we didnt have time to run so they were lost, an hour apart from eachother.

Its amazing what we have held with the numbers that SBI has across all maps, i dont understand where the numbers are coming from.

SBI has more numbers then you guys think, you just lack coordination

Ranger is a class that requires real skill now. All I’m going to say is it is trash rangers who fought for the pet buff and now they are all going to go cry because they cant run a BM build anymore. Now the rangers who really know the class will succeed, the way it should be. Im not telling you traits but in PvE. Condition/traps build. I drop more condi’s than some necros. PvP? Kiting build. Kind of like a thief but no stealth, just a ton of evades. Think OUTSIDE your build specced 30 into BM. Because thankfully… Those days are gone.

when i see posts like these, I laugh and think on my head “rangers aren’t bad, there’s just too many players that do not know how to play them”… and to be honest the “nerf” didn’t even hurt me at all can still kill any1 in spvp in a 1v1.

It wouldn’t surprise me if it’s still working like the old Spirit Knowledge trait, but I can’t be bothered to check.

It doesnt remove the condition on roll? This trait is working as intended.

I’m done, you guys complain, and that’s it. “I got hit, I should have better sustain” or “My zerker build have poor regen, our sustain sucks” Is what I always see nowadays. Please take time to learn how to use a warrior and you guys will be fine later

So just because 1 build is viable that makes warriors fine?

So, let’s say that Warrior burst mechanics changed, so that the adrenaline is used on a burst regardless of whether or not it hits or misses. This means that you can guarantee the benefits of Cleansing Ire right?
Rightly so.
But changing such mechanic will just kitten the adrenaline system and we will be constantly spending and/or wasting our adrenaline even if our F1 skills miss. It is such a waste, seriously. I do not want to be forced to build up adrenaline again just because I missed my F1. Especially not after the changes to blind.

But Yoshioka, how else are we gonna hit our F1?

There are so many different ways to chain CC’s in order to hit your F1. Shield Bash is an example. So is Bull Rush. Maybe instead of just spamming skills in which ever fashion you want, think about when and where to use them, in order to, not only maximize effectiveness on opponents, but on yourself. Grow up kiddies, Cleansing Ire was one of the best additions to this god-forsaken patch.

You can make earthshaker hit for 100% of the times. Only defense your enemies can have is stability.

Is what you are, not seeing that blind was the condition we were talking about right from the start.

Or ya know because WvW is designed around multiple people being there, you can just walk into a friendly Necro Well or a friendly null field and have all your conditions stripped. But ya know who uses strategy and knowledge in WvW these days.

This thread is hilarious, I use cleansing Ire in WvW…….. I have no problems with getting it off because I dont’ stand in necro wells and am actively paying attention to my screen when in combat. If I get a blind stacked on me I use shake it off and then my combo is Endure Pain, Balanced Stance, Earthshaker and then Whirling Axe (traited for 50% more crit chance against stunned enemies and crits with axe gives more adrenaline), couple all of that with cleansing Ire and Shake it off and I can remove 4 conditions on myself as a zerker warrior. No idea what all the QQ is about.

Take mobile strikes and have stability on. If they use their invulnerability skill for a skill on a 7s cd than that is their problem. Terrain is not knowing how hammerstun works and wrong placement on your part. You should not open with it on a guardian no.

Dodge counters every attack and you should lure those out first anyway (backbreaker for example). You got to use your brain ofcourse to land it.

HI, i dont know how many warriors are happy of the changes, all i know is that in this community there are soo much whiners (Daecollo, Albundy etc…) that Anet could think that everything that they do is wrong.
I want to say thank you for yesterday patch, i had so much fun in pvp with my warrior!
I really feel that every build that we had is now stronger, even if i was disappointed that the heals were not changed.

I tried a hybrid CC build hammer/GS with 0-0-30-10-30 and now the sustain/burst is way better, Cleansing Ire is soo good that i dont even need to watch my condition sometimes.
I tried a brutal glass cannon build GS/ Axe shield with 30-0-0-10(desperate power)-30 and i can say that the damage is higher now.
It was awesome to see something like 6/7 warriors is a 5v5 arena, everybody was playing his favorite class again!
Thank you Anet for what you’re doin, Guild Wars 2 is my favorite videogame ever and you’re doin a great work!

We get new content to do, new areas, new loot and what not, and you complain? Get the hell off our game, man. I played World of Warcraft for five years, and the RARE times they would give us such new content, would be a freaking expansion. This is a god send, and you’re a blind selfish player.

And yet I get the feeling OP doesn’t feel bad about downloading 8gb ripped blu-rays.
