There are some pretty exciting cinematics coming in the future…I hope you guys will receive them as well as the Fractals piece.

I just hope that if/when you add more cinematics to the game you will take care and make them

(a) not pop up in the middle of a fight / action sequence causing you to die instantly when the cinematic ends (*cough*volcanic fractal*cough*)
(b) be skippable so we don’t have to wait 5 minutes for Mrs. Lionguard to explain to Caithe how much help they need dealing with lolscarlet over and over and over again.

(a) I cant answer this as it is a design issue with our scripting system. The cinematics team only handles a few of the flyby-camera-style cinematics. I can take a look at this-
(b) all our cinematics have the ability to be skip-able. Sometimes someone forgets to flag a cinematic as skippable :0

When a scene is scripted out there may be triggers that NEED to happen in order for a set of events to play out the way they were meant to be. If we allow players to skip this type of cinematic, then it can unravel scene, spawns, and such. I’d love to have a fix for this…but players may have to bare with it for the time being. I feel your pain.

Thanks for the nice comments guys.

Here are some “behind the scenes” facts about this cinematic:

The cinematic was built as a prototype for the new video playback technology.

It was made over a year ago, and we planned to launch it with the original Fractal release. Unfortunately, the tech didn’t get implemented in time and we missed the release window. It was decided that we sit on the cinematic trailer until there was a big update to the Fractals.

The 3D character models are (pre)rendered in-engine with our model viewer and matched up with cameras in Maya and After Effects.

While I have special place in my heart for the original GW2 in-engine cinematics (such as the Dugneon Catacombs flashback…a cinematic that I reworked 4 times over the course of development) These new types of pre-rendered videos allow us to work faster, increase the quality, and they perform better on more peoples machines.

There are some pretty exciting cinematics coming in the future…I hope you guys will receive them as well as the Fractals piece.

Thanks again!

As far I I know Gw2 has the lowest fee to reset build. Some mmos would require you to use only real money to do it…

The thing is a lot of people came from GW1 where we could reset from within any outpost and change our builds completely (skills and attribute points) without it costing anything.

Of course a lot of these people probably don’t release that in the initial release of GW1 you couldn’t reset your attributes whenever you want, but the point was that they realised it needed to be added in. It’s sort of the same in GW2.

You can SAY “play your way”, but when players don’t have any real way of testing builds out in the game environment it can be pretty difficult. (heart of the mists absolutely does not count)

Why has female running been changed?

One-handed weapons are clipping through forearms by just standing still. By the way, I like the new animation.

I prefer the old animation, especially with respect to the other issues it seems to have caused.

What is missing is understanding what was wrong with (aside from anecdotal evidence) it that they felt the need to assign money, a modeler (modelers?) and time to changing it, causing other graphics issues in the process? Was there performance issues? Is it the cause of the lag some people experience in big events? Was it impacting the economy somehow?

I would think in the spirit of collaboration, they would have a forum somewhere indicating possible changes, why they are thinking of making them (the why, always missing is the why with them), and give us a chance to weigh in. If I end up being in a 10% losing bracket, I would concede, and take my money elsewhere.

Which, I guess is on me. I should have been more wary about spending $20 on two armor skin packs to outfit a new character I created, supporting the company’s efforts to provide more skins through the gem store, knowing that at any moment, they would make a drastic change to how a character model that was wearing that clothing looked when wearing it.

I don’t know, it makes me sad. I don’t enjoy spending time in the world with my characters at all, they feel broken and look odd to me. Hopefully my $20 goes to something useful, I guess.

I don’t know, I like being tomboyish. I’m tired of the girly animation like female norns, no offense.

You might like being tomboyish, but what about everyone else? I certainly didn’t make my character with the intent on her running like a man. I get what you’re saying, but the bottom line is that most people made their characters over a year ago, and like the way they felt, preferences on being feminine or a tomboy aside. It’s a shame that we cannot toggle different running styles, but honestly my female human mesmer looks ridiculous in her mesmer dress & running like this and I’m willing to bet a majority of people made female humans because they liked the feminine-ness of them compared to the other races which are overwhelmingly “tomboyish” already.

havellian.4073

Does anyone have an actual video of what the animation was before for female humans? ?? Would be infinitely more helpful than just expressing dissatisfaction.

Edit:
Tested further and find myself agreeing with those who don’t like this change. Makes the running a lot more squared and stiff feeling. It may be appropriate for some characters (strong warriors with lots of muscle mass) but perhaps not for the more scholarly that use more brain than brawn?

Recommendation: Would be awesome if Anet let us be able to choose our stride as it’s very much connected to character customization and how you want to present your character in the world. Some may want a stronger character while others would like to portray a more physically weak one. I could see this have a larger impact on the RP community.

Wvw isn’t even, and conceptually was meant to reward charachter progression. That said charachter progression should be available to and encourage wvw playstyles

Allow me to disagree.

I can’t help but feel that saying WvW was never meant to be and never will be balanced is essentially a non argument. No game designer promotes his game as imbalanced. You don’t design a game to be imbalanced. When you start it out, you want it to be as balanced as it possibly can be.

That WvW favours numbers and that usually a large group defeats a small group doesn’t legitimate even more imbalance. If it did there wouldn’t have been the Confusion or Bloodlust nerfs. And I’m not even arguing the point that larger teams have an advantage.

What I’m saying is that you need an even starting ground. Everyone’s base equipment should be the same. If you can fool the opposition to run into your zerg more power to you. But on the other hand with some attention and map communication you can dodge the zerg alright if you want to. And the introduction of the ruins and the Edge of the mist map clearly shows that small party play is indeed a part of WvW. And in small party play balance is of the essence.

If you want protection stay with the larger group. But don’t introduce gear that throws off balance where it actually is (or should be) and matters: in the small fights (although I want to make clear that in my opinion the power creep is bad even in larger battltes).

Yes, yes and yes.

Getting Ascended gear of any sorts simply isn’t fun. I can see why people want it in PvE but WvW is PvP. An even playing ground is key to a successful PvP format. Aside from the obvious artificial barrier Ascended gear introduces it generates even more power creep (like there wasn’t already enough: WvW server buffs, bloodlust, WXP ranks, food, etc.) something that is already harming the game now and will only get worse over time if it doesn’t stop.

I believe that the way Ascended Gear is released goes against what made GW2 so fun in the past. It didn’t force you into doing stuff you didn’t want to do.

An Ascended weapon means I’ll be doing 10+% more damage than with my Exotic Weapon. That’s pretty huge in any kind of PvP.

So why aren’t there multiple pathways to getting these items? I mean from the start. From release. When Legendary/Ascended Weapons were released, there should have been a WvW method of getting them, or some sort of equivalent.

I don’t mean to say that it should be easy to get these items, but I find PvE boring—This is a game killer for me, and I know it is for some others, too.

Fix it, please.

I am doing my job as a concerned citizen, standing out there waving off ships until the city engineers can either remove the rock or put up a warning.

In the meanwhile, it is getting dark. Could someone please bring out a light, and perhaps a sandwich as well?

The fight itself is fine as it is. It’s kind of GW2 equivalent to a raid (even if it wasnt intended to be). Only a small proportion of players raid in any game, as intended (again, even if not by design in this case).

What they need to do is acknowledge that this is really content for organised battalions and not random PUGs, and just make it an instancrd guild mission which can be set up by a guild so people can schedule and prepare for it.

Earlier this year (during the pirate, dragon, and wind events for living story) I stopped playing. The semi-permanent grind release monthlies got old. Especially for nothing but AP, a backpiece skin, a mini or another lackluster reward. I came back when the talk of the new content that would be released every 2 weeks would be permanent and have everlasting effects on the world. I’ve been playing since but I find myself just as bored.

There is a serious lack of anything to do but grind for a legendary as level 80. With many dungeons still broken and unplayable most of the community only runs a very specific few dungeons that are the most rewarding/quickest. There are no new fractals so running that gets boring after awhile. DR has completely killed Orr. This and SSC could’ve been two of the coolest areas. Constant battles. Constant war. These are the only two level 80+ zones but because of such horrible DR the zones are empty and relatively unused except for temple runs. The new TA path is great, but how many releases have we had and how long have we been promised dungeons would be revamped and fixed and nothing? I would’ve much rather seen a complete revamp to a dungeon(s) than 1 single new path. AC has stood alone as the only dungeon revamped. Since the revamp people do it constantly! Yet A-Net doesn’t bother to look at this. Scarlet attacks randomly ever few hours which no one bothers with, and then there’s the reworking of Teq. Broken with the mass majority of players who don’t even bother.

With so much lore and so many zones unopen from Crystal Desert, Ring of Fire, Greater Shiverpeak Mountains. Magumma Wastelands, etc why haven’t we seen a large scale opening of one of these areas with 2-3 new zones featuring either tons of new dynamic events (like SSC) or renown? Sadly with DR breaking dynamics I feel releasing any new zone until that is fixed will simply result in people checking out the new area for a month and then walking away.

Is anyone else just tired of the content being released? Does anyone else feel it’s simply regurgitated over and over with very little to actually do? Sure the artwork and thought is there and it’s beautiful but still lacking in content. The mass majority of people finish the achievement portion in 2-3 days?! One good 2-3 hour session and you can grind out most of the ap for every single release. Would anyone else finally like to see them NOT put something out for a month or two except with fixing bugs, balancing skills, and then release something worth wild for the community? Something not rushed, bugged out or broken only to be yanked two weeks later when something else comes in to replace it?

I think the new both male and female armor looks stylish.
What is the problem do you want female armor to look exactly like male armor?
How is it a stripped out cleavage version just because it shows the hips ?
So what do you want , burqa ? I dont get it.

How do you assume that just because we don’t want a woman with boobs hanging out all over the place, we must want a burqa? We don’t want burqa’s, we’re just sick and tired of female characters being turned into sex objects and treated as playthings for men—instead of actual soldiers who need protection.

Please don’t use “we’re” as if you speak for everyone, especially not all girls. I’m actually tired of girls always causing crap like this because one armor set caters to the players that want their characters to look sexy and not layered in pounds of armor. It’s a fantasy game, let people have their fantasy. I for one love this armor set and plan on saving the funds to get it for my Gaurdian. I looked at the armor and literally thought “Finally an armor set for me.”

The reason why people think you want a burqa is because everytime an armor set, in any MMO, is revealing it instantly is attacked for being ‘out of taste’ and blah blah blah. 20 armor sets will then be released catering to your desires, and when one more is released that’s revealing it’s back too “OMG every female armor too revealing”.

So please, don’t try and speak for all of “us.” I prefer to not be associated with people who make noise simply for the sake of complaining.

I disagree with the opinion that it looks bad, I think the male design is far lazier.

If you’re looking for realism, go try wearing that suit of armor and doing a lap around your backyard. Then try jumping up the side of a hill, running a few marathons, eating a steak dinner, getting into a bunch of fights, repairing a cannon, mining a few random rocks, chopping down a few trees, and then WAKING UP.

The suits of armor that you’ve grown to be accustomed to in fantasy games are DUMB. Why are they dumb? Because in real life, those suits of armor were not worn for longer than a few hours at a time, and they were largely ceremonial at the time, only used to designate persons of noble birth so that a peasant would not make the mistake of accidentally killing someone above their station (which would result in their family’s extermination or debt-slavery).

it may seem like the male armor looks more realistic, but it’s actually the LEAST realistic of the two armor looks. the female armor offers some protection, clearly has less than half the mass of the other, allows for the wearer to maneuver and exercise agility, and still protects the legs and the hamstrings (which is the first and most important target). The male version does all the work for the opponent, slowing you down to a snail’s pace and exhausting you before the fighting even begins.

As to the aesthetics, well that’s all on you. You have other options available to you.

Honestly I think that even with the “wizard did it” approach, it still looks lame on the male side, because you obscure all the nice details of your character’s face, and well, you end up with a genderless, nameless silver blob. I mean if you want to be some sort of generic soldier, that’s cool, but it’s not for everyone.

GW2 PvP/WvW...

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

AydenStar.4216

Is a failure IMHO.

Why?

sPvP

1. Look at the Mists on all servers. What a waste of space. All different kinds of target/dodging dummies, a few NPC with Ranger pet AI intelligence to fight against. Anet you want players in the Mist. Open up player dueling and you’ll see numbers start to climb immediately.

2. One full year of only mediocre Conquest maps have pushed away Players from dire boredom with no quality reward system for all that time put into it.

3. No changes to sPvP trinkets and condition mechanics force all professions into cookie cutter AoE condition spamming builds ?.

4. The wak-a-mole Profession revamps to Nercos, Warriors, Thieves when professions like the Elementalist, Ranger and Engineer still have mechanic and bugs issues from Beta that not been fixed.

5. Trying to profit off an unfinished product (Spvp) is just bad business.

WvW

1. WvW is the only place for PvXer to PvP. PvXers enjoy fighting players on a smaller scale which doesn’t mean put an sPvP obstacle course in the middle of the borderland.

2. WvW large group fights on a competitive level only involve 4 professions: Hammer Warriors, Hammer/Condition Removing Guardians, Staff Elementalists and Staff/Plauge Necros. A mesmer or two are need for Veil but that is it. No one welcomes Rangers, Thieves, Engineers or even up-levels in competitive WvW play yet I bet up-levels of the 4 main WvW professions would be more welcome than Ranger, Thieves and Engineers.

3. We hunger for PvP not standing in towers or in front of them dancing around arrowcart fire most of the time in WvW.

4. GvG is a creature of the lack of PvP gamemodes in GW2

5. Leagues will only push players away because of the server population disparates.
GW2 is not a good PvP game and that is a major reason why players have left in legions. ANet, the problem is that your vision of this game is just bad for it. This is not the Field of Dreams where: “If you build it, they will come. This is the real world: if you build it and don’t improve it properly; people will get bored of it, than leave it. Most players once they leave a MMO they have played for a while will never come back.

My beef with GW2 is the profession development favoritism and the slow turtle speed of balance changes proves that this game is not a serious PvP game and should have never been advertised or treated as one.

Part 2:

The removal of culling was a very welcome update, but the game still lags horribly on full maps. WvW on reset night is a nightmare. I realize server optimization is a difficult problem, but it’s been a year.

Speaking of WvW, the Bloodlust addition is Orbs 2.0. It was, I think, supposed to discourage zerging and give roamers and small groups something to do, but I have mixed feelings about how it’s working in practice. I think it has, at least, made WvW a little more dynamic, but it’s done little to change the underlying dynamics of zerging that many complain about. And the W-exp buffs are simply unfair: character bound, fairly powerful, hard to obtain without participating in the capture train for W-exp, which further encourages zerging. The entire reward structure leaves much to be desired.

Communication with the community is abysmal. Anet keeps its people on a very tight leash. They do not interact much with the community on the forums or anywhere, and when they do, it’s usually in the form of canned, sanitized responses. There is much ambiguity and very little honesty. They frequently announce changes which garner a large negative reaction and implement them anyway, without discussion or modification.

Anet would probably say that I should appreciate what has already been fixed or added to the game, that I should be patient, that they are trying to do more than other games and things move more slowly overall as a consequence. I would agree with them, but I think that trying to be too much for too many is becoming, increasingly, a detriment to the game instead of a benefit. It has been very profitable for them so far, and the so-called “casual player” will appreciate the diversity of activities and play styles that are available, but I think more dedicated players are left wanting more depth and polish.

It’s not that I think there has been no positive development since launch. The dungeon reward revamp I sort of like, because it diminished the primacy of CoF p1; on the other hand, DR on dungeon tokens was met with justified criticism. The wallet and UI improvements were not bad. I haven’t tried the LFG tool yet, but it’s also good to have in the game. And so on. However, I’ll say again: I think the game is trying to do too much.

I have tried to be as constructive as possible in my criticism here. GW2 was an excellent value for money and I would buy it again. I am writing this post because I still like the game and think it has potential to be really great, but I think a lack of transparency and direction is causing it to suffer. I welcome your responses.

Recently, there was a post on reddit.com/guildwars2 that expressed a lot of what I’m currently feeling about the game. It stayed on the front page for a bit and generated a fair amount of discussion. It’s largely criticism of the game, but also largely polite and thoughtful. And, while it’s a small sample size compared to the total population, I believe it resonates with what many players have been saying there, here, and in-game. I hope that players and Anet employees will read it, with an open mind, and not dismiss it out of hand for being criticism. Please remember to keep any discussion civil and thoughtful!

I originally posted just a link, but it was moved. So I’m copying the content in the hope that it will have more exposure:

I thought GW1 was one of the more innovative and enjoyable games of its time. Sadly, I am coming to dislike GW2 and the direction the game is headed. After a year of playing, the problems that I see are:

Much was promised before launch that was eventually scrapped or toned down. Renown Hearts and Karma vendors were greatly simplified. The much-hyped Living World consists of a few event chains and does not seem to be progressing to anything beyond the somewhat-incoherent “Living Story”. PvP as an e-Sport never materialized, although that’s not entirely Anet’s fault.

The personal story was supposed to be very dynamic depending on player choices along the way, but it’s more like choosing from among a small number of set paths through the game, and after a certain point they converge anyway. And the story in general is lackluster, the writing and voice acting sub-par. There is nothing really memorable about Trahearne or any member of Destiny’s Edge; I barely know who they are. The final fight with Zhaitan is unsatisfying.

Like GW1, the game was supposed to NOT be a grind; however, with Ascended gear and (increasingly) character-bound rewards, it feels like it’s becoming more of one, not less.

Classes seem to be balanced around PvP, which almost no one plays, leading to issues in PvE and WvW. And some seem to be favored by the dev team, like warrior, while in a recent talk they couldn’t even find a ranger minor trait that many people run and which hasn’t moved since launch. Engineer has many bugs from launch which are still unfixed. In GW1, I played a ranger, a monk, and a mesmer, and each class felt like it had a unique and important role to play in both PvE and PvP. And the builds for each were so much more varied; there were many more possibilities for how to play each class.

It feels like the frequency of content updates is stretching Anet’s resources thin. And the rewards for participating in that content are often lackluster: minis, achievements, consumables. Although, with some of that being recurring content (like Dragon Bash or Halloween) which will probably require less development in the future, hopefully next year more resources will be available for other aspects of the game.

Every balance update seems to introduce more bugs than it fixes. The improved tool-tips from the latest patch look very good, but they contain so many inconsistencies and inaccuracies that I think I would have preferred those resources go to fixing existing bugs. We’ve been promised a major re-working of trait lines that has yet to happen. For a game that promises you can play how you want, most (or all) classes are pigeon-holed into a small number of builds/roles at more skilled levels of play.

Hi All,

Recently we spent some time discussing the concept of collaborative development with some of our community. The thread can be found here:

[url]https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/gw2/Collaborative-Development/first[url]

We talked about rolling out a new process in which over a set time period we can discuss design philosophies behind the main components of Guild Wars 2.

The first part of the plan is for you all to list the top three sections of this area of the game that you would like to discuss:

For example for PVE your list might be:

1: Living World
2: Roleplaying
3: Ascended items

After a couple of days we will choose the number 1 topic in each area and then create the threads within the specific areas for us all to discuss, brainstorm and share our opinions on.

Living World 1 year later: a sincere opinion.

in Living World

Hello, I would love to express my sincere opinion about Guild Wars 2 Living World after playing since beta.

I played 7 years of Guild Wars 1, and I’ve always been a very fan of its Lore. In my opinion the best fantasy game world ever. You had tons of secondary stories almost in every corner of Tyria, all of them strictly connected to the world and history, and some of them could easly drive into epic stories that they could change the all the world itself (1 example for all the “scepter of the mists”).

Anyway, since I’m a real appassionate about the Lore of Tyria I’m still wondering why all the amazing stories started in gw1 do not have any continuity in gw2.

I think the living story for what it is now is not telling anything about Tyria, anything related to dragons, or the gods, or any other stories or mysteries we have seen in gw1.
I find these releases kinda banal, and not relevant to tyria at all.
I’m wondering if the living story writers knows anything about the world of tyria to be honest.

The only release that is very interesting and has an immense power lore talking is Fractal of the Mists, becouse you can make everything happens inside there, the timeline is irrelevant, and you are in the mists, the realm of the gods.

I’m gonna remind you some (only the ones happened in Tyria Continent no Elona or Cantha since we don’t have those yet) of the interrupted amazing storylines you left behind:
- first of all the Gods, where the hell they’re gone?
- what happened when Kormir…..? (Spoiler Stop.)
- is abaddon really dead?
- the origins of the pale trees seeds (note the plural – there is a personal story that talks about that and many speculations going on about that, that’s VERY interesting!)
- the castle of Garenhoff?
- Kerrsh quest and the aspect of the Gods – i know u have put his diary in the library at priory but nothing more, and someone translated the inscriptions! (…on distant shores….) + connection between gods and dragons?
- OMG Livia! where’s Livia!!?!?
- The scepter of Orr!?!?
- the tunnel made by dredge that goes into Cantha Kurzick stone forest?
- where the Seer gone?
- omg one word – MURSAAT- !!!!
- the 4 bloodstones + the keystone?
- Lord Odran portals to the mists!?
- Underworld and Fow?
- the tombs of the iconic characters such as Mehnlo, Cynn, Aidan ect ect
- ect ect ect

They are too many to say them all, but u got an idea. You have stories to fill years of releases, and you’re just releasing nonsense stories that has nothing new to say to the world and they neither have any connection to the lore.
In gw1 a simple secondary quest could be so interesting and powerfull that can maybe change the world, whilst now a world release like molten facility or aetherblades is just killed in 1 week with nothing mysterius or intriguing about it and everything come back to normality like anything happened at all.

Another thing: most people new to GW says that this game don’t have a Lore at all, so once a week we have the “lore night” were i am the storyteller and i tell a story about something happened in the world of Tyria, to make them understand better the world itself and why some things are this way.

You left new players without any info about the story of GW. There are some amazing videos on youtube made by WoodenPotatoes that narrates the story of gw very well and imitating the stylish way of your videos, but the point is, was that difficult to make this youself inside the game without force someone else to do that in your place?

People needs to know how wonderful and intense the story of Tyria is, but you’re doing the exactly opposite, I can’t really understand why.

Forgive me for the very long post, I hope you will considerate what i’m saying, Thank you so much for your time!

Living Story - I don't like it

They change.3526

Okay, before we all get heated since there are other topics like this one out there let me clear one thing up. Livin story has become nothing but champion farming. This game, is champion farming. I can’t load into any map without seeing people asking where the train is. I honestly don’t see how people can run around for hours farming these champs. It’s stupid and honestly annoying.

What gets under my skin i how the living story is becoming cancerous to the game. Sure, I like that Anet is trying to do something. But look at Tequatal. It’s like they sprinkled sugar on him and within one week it was all licked off by us. I’m getting bored because living story is nothing but some dumb skin, a mini-game, a zone hat’s only there for a few weeks. (I still have no clue why the portal to the crown pavilion is even there.)

So what is it I do now? Well I started playing the original Guild Wars again and browsing the forum more. That’s how bored I am and this game should honestly be re-named to Grind Wars 2. There’s nothing exciting to do anymore! I can go WvW orSPvP but after about a good hour or so I feel like doing something PvE wise. Oh wait, scarlets minions are attacking Blazeridge Steppes! Meanwhile in mapchat… [x waypoint] Champs up!

Things have gotten stale. I find the forums more entertaining than the game itself right now.

NEW THIEF BUILD! - Time to adapt once again!

Greetings fellow permastealth/permaevasion/150 trait point Thieves!

Following the 15/10 patch I started theory crafting a new build that takes advantage of some of the most unused Thief traits in combination with a never before seen set of runes to create a new Thief build to suit the current meta and the substantial abilities of the Thief profession!

Introducing… the NINJA NURSE!

The Ninja Nurse is a daring new build that takes advantage of the incredibly overpowered Shadow Protector (SP) and Merciful Ambush (MA) traits combined with the Superior Runes of Mercy to resurrect fallen allies in the blink of an eye thanks to the mobility and regeneration offered by Infiltrator’s Arrow (IA), MA, and SP!

Strategy

  • Stay at the edge of the fight with your Shortbow and maintain pressure on the classes that are actually capable of killing your allies with Trickshot and Choking Gas.
  • Choking Gas is a ridiculously OP skill in the current meta and is great at destroying the regeneration offered to the inferior Warrior and Guardian professions by reducing the effectiveness of their pathetic healing abilities.
  • Using the amazing buff to Body Shot (P/x #2) and immobilise stacking, you can completely control your enemies for a bare minimum of 1 second, allowing your Warrior with burst much higher than you’re capable of to eliminate them!
  • Use your P/P #4 Headshot ability to interrupt your opponents most telegraphed skills, such as the Asuran Skullcrack and other abilities that are extremely easy to tell the difference between.
  • If you see an ally get downed, spring in to action! Interrupt the stomp with Headshot, switch to Shortbow, IA onto your ally, drop Blinding Powder or Shadow Refuge and resurrect them straight away! This is where your true strength lies, and the reason this build is so bloody OP!
  • If you’re directly focussed, don’t worry! According to the logic used by the players of PvP who hate and despise you, Shortbow #3 provides you with infinite evasion thanks to your extremely broken and OP initiative mechanic which, again, because it’s so broken and OP, means that you have absolutely ZERO COOLDOWNS!
  • In the event that your enemy manages to get some conditions onto you, don’t worry about it! You’re OP, I’m sure you’ll manage!

So, what do you guys think? Is this build good enough to shake up the meta and force teams to comp around their Thieves and create a counter to the Ninja Nurse? Discuss!

This thread and build are obviously a joke and parody, please, for crying out loud, don’t take it seriously!

That being said, I would love if someone could test it just to see how viable it is to screw around on! :P

NOTE: I didn’t come up with the name myself, the name is courtesy of Kata.6795 in this post.
