Do some people seriously think it will be bug free becuase they are taking longer to release it? They delayed the EotM release and it was still broken when they released it.
Shout healing is bad. It is nowhere comparable to the effectiveness from the amount of dps you and your group would gain from banners.
Shout Healing is bad, and so is Regen Banners lol.
The banner are good without any trait and can be use by any warriors. So stop trying to say that oh man my banner are good because they boost DPS. Yes of course its a utility skill you don’t need regen banner to make them give DPS boost.
Wrong. Regen banner is good. You admit yourself banners are good without any traits. The regen is just value added to an existing skill that is good.
Taking shouts exclude the option of getting banners. Those things are mutually exclusive which makes shout healing option an inferior option in every way.
And to get banner regen you need to go 30 into a bad trait line. There is absolutely no excuse to go over 20 after getting empower allies.
Also if you can’t maintain the scholar bonus on a meta warrior then I don’t know what to say. Even with a terrible group it’s easy to maintain for a duration that makes them worth it over ruby orbs.
Kinda stupid that they fix all exploits, and yet still keep the fractal stupidly long. Also they haven’t even fixed the ‘invulnerable’ glitch yet on the dredge that spawn at the clowncar.
The dredge would be dead before they fully spawned in without that. Not that I would complain about that however.
I personally don’t rez players anymore unless it’s absolutely safe to do so. Besides half of the players cause more problems when they’re alive anyway, the second champion for example.
Also myself as well as many others have explained the champion mechanics time and time again. But it just doesn’t sink in with some people.
And you’re not to blame? If you can’t carry your platform of ‘bads,’ you’re not all that good a player yourself. Give yourself a pat on the back, mate!
Oh, and it’s “Also, many others and I…” or less strict “Also, I and many others…” ‘Myself’ is used as the object of a verb or preposition to refer to yourself after you have already been mentioned, never as the subject! E.g. I make a fool of myself on a public forum.

No it’s not decent, healing power has bad scaling when you dedicate your entire build to it let alone mixing it with other stats. Your dps will be bad and your groups sustain will barely be improved at all.
Knights gear can be used as training wheels but when high level fractals can be completed with ease in full zerker gear once you get some experience there’s no excuse to use anything else.
I’ll stop blaming other players when they stop being responsible for the events failing.

Just because some of you have good luck with skins it doesn’t mean everyone else does… I’ve only got 1 skin since the Fractured update and my luck before wasn’t exactly great either. In fact at one point I almost went 2 months without a skin and then got 3 in 2 days. RNG is RNG, some people really do get screwed over by it.
Once it’s been kited into it’s mines you have more than enough time to safely melee him. I have no idea what you’re doing for so long to get into that situation.
They also mentioned looking at sword auto attack change possibly some changes coming there but likely not this update.
Ouch, this is devastating news. I was about to craft some ascended armor for my ranger but if they change sword I may have to switch to warrior as a main. I will be one extremely sad puppy.
Why? They were only talking about reworking it so you can dodge during the auto chain which you currently can’t.
I would like that option. The whole reason I got a berserker/assassin mix is because it was optimal, that is likely no longer the case. I didn’t make my ascended gear for this ferocity crap.
Ruby > Scholar. Cheaper and less conditional dmg (health >90%). Anyone who says otherwise is a fool. Anyone who says they always stay above 90% is also a fool.

Well considering you’re mixing so many stats it can’t be anything but bad. If you were as good a player as you seem to claim you would have no problem staying alive in full zerker gear.
I play a thief running some mixed build (primarily Power and Toughness, with just the right amount of precision, conditions, and vitality). I can’t stand zerker gear/standard builds because they bore me to tears.
I am also usually not the one to die first. But I’ve also been playing my class since Headstart, so… yeah. I think it’s safe to say I’m relatively good at what I do at this point.
So, as you see, kcmastere, there is a lot of misinformation and kid-hate towards rangers (some of it justified by a significant presence of bad players playing the class with sub-par builds —- for example the bearbow).
If you want to be welcome in all dungeons and not worry about people’s negative opinion of your class, go for Guardian. If you don’t care about that, and do not mind avoiding LFG groups that advertise “war/guard only” then pick whichever of the three you mentioned that you like playing.
But indeed be aware that getting a good dungeon build on Ranger that works well with the current meta (i.e. lots of stacking and DPS race) will require you to go melee and go for a power-build (not conditions).

Pug guardians are worse than bearbows most of the time. I can’t even remember the last time I got a guardian that didn’t camp staff and use their virtues.
i hope stacking gets fixed. In the meantime, i know that a friend ans some others are destroying dungeons where they are asked to stack. Since they are the dungeon owners, they can just leave if the group is awfully cheating through the dungeon. That’s their best chance at trying to encourage others to not stack or skip monsters.
Sadly, nowadays the only way to run a dungeon the way it was intended to be run is almost impossible.
Because stacking is cheating right… Your friends are the problem, wasting peoples time is far worse than any wrongly conceived notion of cheating. What gives you the right to decide what is right or wrong?
Group with like minded people and let others play how they want. But you lot are only happy if they follow your own rules so I guess that’s not an option for you. And you call us elitists…
And how were they intended to be run? Line of sight was an obvious design choice, ANet would need to be extremely incompetent to not have noticed that while making the game. Skipping is clearly intended at times as well, trash mobs have a short leash distance for a reason. Ask yourself why some dungeon bosses are optional and have no bearing on path completion.
oh, well for mostly solo survival stuff, but how else can I make that build just as team supportive…that might not work so well just because AH is mainly a self-supportive kind of thing…

Would you stop asking the same thing… The game has waypoints, no mounts are needed. Removal of waypoints would not add to immersion for the vast majority of people in fact all it would do is annoy people.
Warrior/Thief/Ele outclasses a guardians DPS no matter how you cut it.
I have never mentioned anything wrong with berzerker gear, they are a must for dps, but a guard wearing full zerker gear and intending to do no buffing, only damage and the occasional virtues is a bad guardian in my books.
If I want a kitten ed heavy armor DPS I’ll look for a bad warrior, even then they do more DPS than a full zerker guard.
You tell me any halfway good group would have ele’s stacking might, I’m telling you 9/10 groups do not do so, not unless it is a privately formed team or have prior communication.
Most guardians I see do not even bother using virtues/utilities because they claim to be DPS guardians. From personal experience around half of the guardians I meet in dungeons does this and I run dungeons/fractals exclusively.
One extreme case of a guardian I met boasts to me for being at 12k hp Full DPS build saying he was more paper than my 14k thief, ever so often falling in CoE.
And no, with stacking being the norm in most dungeons, heals are not useless, they are a must have necessity because there is little room for dodging and damage mitigation.
More so amplified with guardians having the most AoE heals available in their weapon and utility skill set.
This is more so the case in fotm especially at 40+ scale even at 31+ where instabilities are introduced. Most encounters would have you defer to range instead of melee, how then is a Zerker guardian going to fair in terms of damage potential.
Again, if a Zerker guardian has no intention to buff or heal but instead picks hammers and greatswords and attempts to justify so by claiming they are doing as good a DPS as other damage dealing classes, I’m afraid to say you are only deluding yourselves.
I run both closed group and PUG parties and have my fair share of good and bad players.
Funny that my dungeon group does just fine without a “healer” when stacking. Also meleeing all bosses up to level 50 in fractals so yeah…
A bad guardian doesn’t use virtues, gear is irrelevant. Someone in full zerker gear, using the meta build and timing aegis and reflects at the correct times makes them far more useful than someone doing next to no damage while only providing weak heals that any heavy hitter will completely negate anyway.
Even if you run hammer without the intention of supporting people you will be anyway as long as people are in melee range. The permanent prot from a hammer provides more support than any “healing” build will.
A fully buffed guardian will out dps a warrior, of course you won’t believe that since you seem to lack any knowledge of what an organized group is capable of.
Also posting a screenshot of your dungeon tokens doesn’t prove anything.
Because it doesn’t need fixed. Besides a simple google search would show you just how often this exact topic brought up, at this point it’s just boring.
Arah p2 is messed up imo. used to do it every day with a pack of friends. since that TP is removed nobody can make ti second boss. so we just quited going there.. Ty ArenaNet
If you can’t get past that tunnel it’s your problem not ANet’s, you don’t even have to run past the turret.
Can you pretend lupi will not 1 shot you if he hit you. Your build leave little margin for mistakes and you dont have an endless amount of dodges maily because as you said you use axe you have at least 1 less block you can use. Now if you aint even using a shield you cant even use the 3 second block. What now you will be living on borrowed time with defy pain?
Just so you realize you’re talking to a bunch of people that can solo Lupi with the meta build.
PvE is all about damage in this game, the entire game is a dps race. There is no reason for any tanky builds and if you can’t run the meta setups then it’s matter of getting better at the game plain and simple. All the support you need in PvE can be provided by full dps specs.
your in full zerk and do less dps than any other prof in full zerk i don’t see the point about your build then.

Support better provided by guardians with a dps setup. Warriors are only taken in PvE for their offensive buffs, without them you’re less valuable than any other class really.
dps is irrilevant.
enjoy your 40 minutes dungeons runs or 3 hours fractals as you prefer but stop spreading misleading informations saying that your build can out dps every prof in full zerk .
i didnt say i outdps every prof but i likely still outdps mesmer ranger enginer necro and most guardian and elementalist wich btway will not always spec for damage. point is to deal acceptable damage to be somewhat above the average while supporting the team. Up to you to have your belief but im strongly against glass cannon in a team. Mainly because as i said before Glass cannon generaly needs to be ’’carried’’ by a support to keep its full effectiveness without behing constantly put on the ground and that pugs will not always have a support.
Actually all of those classes running a proper dps spec will out damage your terrible build.
