“Hope you get them” , this is what i have a problem with and i why i havent done fractal 48 for over a month. But like i said im over it. You guys can feel like special kittens with your rng weapons. Ill probably start doing fractal 48 again just to save relics for back items for alts. And if the stars align then mayb ill get the fractal weapon i want…or maybe not lol.

Actually I don’t like the way fractal weapons are acquired at the moment, I myself have bad luck with them so… But in no way should people who don’t do Fractals get them.

No chance, if you want the skins do Fractals and hope you get them. Fractal skins should be obtainable in a better way for people that run Fractals on a regular basis. People that don’t do the content should never have access to them.

People these days… All you do is complain if things aren’t handed to you on a silver platter. This game is in dire need of more challenging content, this was a start.

This is a suggestion.

Everyone know how hard it is to get the fractal weapon skin they want. I think there is a viable solution people will agree upon.
Step 1: Make a vendor that has all the skins and cost 5 or 10 fractal weapon tokens.
Step 2: The only way to get these tokens is by salvaging an unused weapon skin.

This eliminates selling and everyone knows how hard it is just to get a skin. I feel this could make both sides happy.

or… pristine relic that is almost forgotten , it can be a token for skins

Pristines by themsleves are far too easy to get and would remove any sort of prestige fractal skins have.

That couldn’t be further from the truth actually, from what I’ve seen 38 has just as much chance for a skin as 48 does. Over months and months of experience.

I got a fractal GS at my first level 20 when fotm was released, 3 dailies later i got another fractal weapon in daily 20’s. You will get fractal weps on other levels but gl even coming close to the amount you get at 48 and i say this by experience, not tell you what some random dude told me.

It’s not just me though, I’ve witnessed it with everyone I regularly do Fractals with. 48 really is no better than 38 for skin chances. 20+ clearly has a lower chance. I’d rather believe first hand evidence than some random dude…

Absolutely do not buy them. They are a trap to suck away all your karma for very little gold return. That karma may have accumulated naturally just playing the game but what happens when you want to make a legendary (or two)? You have to consciously farm back 1 million karma.

Except if you buy them often enough you get more than enough obsidian shards, I’m currently working on my 3rd stack of them…

RNG sucks, that’s all it comes down to. I had a stretch of almost 2 months doing 48’s and 38’s daily without a single weapon drop. Then 3 in 2 days. It is pretty infuriating when you have a friend that get’s one every 2-3 runs.

I rather prefere to wipe a few times then glitching the boss this has nothing to do with skill or playing. If I want to cheat I play offline

That’s all well and good but half of the people I come across can’t even handle bosses when they’re at the simplest they can be. The skill level of a lot of players in this game is too low to even consider doing some things legit.

Besides I value my time and prefer to do things as quickly and efficiently as possible. People have no right to tell me or anyone else to play differently.

I prefer axe in most situations, especially in PvE as it still has higher DPS than the other main hand weapons. Personally i prefer axe mace for the vulnerability stacks.

Hammer is so so in PvE, as you don’t really need the CC it provides. Certainly not worth switching out greatsword for it.

Seriously people…minor inconvenience for a few hours. It’s build day…you don’t expect some down time? People complain about the oddest things sometimes.

This is the first time it’s happened, if people have spent a good amount of time in something only to be kicked out in the end they have the right to be annoyed.

Same here, had Subject Alpha down to 25% health at the end of path 3 and boom kicked.

We don’t need more of her at all, up to this point she’s been very bland. As with most NPC’s in this game.

Not rage but he seems to get some sort of satisfaction out of it almost to the point of bragging, it makes no sense.

I like the more simplistic nature of my Frostfang, I feel Twilight and Sunrise are over the top with their particle effects and to be honest I get fed up of seeing them everywhere. If anything my legendary feels a lot better since it’s actually still rare unlike the so called top tier legendaries.

I suppose you non GW1 players want the HoM skins as well? I’ve seen it being brought up plenty times before. The entitlement in this thread is out of control.

Virtual achievement points are worthless, you gain nothing from competing at the top of the leader board.

I hate stationary jumping puzzles so this was a major disappointment to me. We need more puzzles like the mad kings clock tower.

The problem is not doing pvp in a pvp zone but ANet adding PvE content in a PvP zone. In no way can anyone make sense of that decision. At the same time I don’t see anyone running in a group can justify killing a single player showing no signs of aggression. Say what you like but those kind of people are nothing but a bunch of kittens.

My only issue with the dungeon is how long the cannon phases are during the boss fight, it’s not all that hard just tedious.

The people who have no problem with the system either have good luck and have the skins they want or are a masochist. There is no prestige in RNG.

That being said I would have no problem with the drop rate of a ticket being the same as the weapon drop rate is now. But at least you would get something you want after waiting a month for any skin..

I can’t believe some of you are trying to justify this. People know it’s an exploit but continue to do it anyway. I would say a 3 day ban wouldn’t be out of the question simply because they made the choice to ruin everyone else’s fun.

Guess they were listening, done a 48 today and got the greatsword unfortunately I hate it… Guess I’ll never get one of the skins that I actually want.

Haven’t had a single skin (or even a ring) from any 48 or 38 in a long long time. Yet a friend of mine gets them regularly, it’s getting beyond stupid at this point. ANet is losing players over this and still they don’t care enough to make a simple fix.

I have the same, had just killed Lupi in Arah path 2 as well. These things always happen at the worst of times.

There’s nothing legendary about spending 2k gold to make a weapon…

I wear dungeon master on all my characters simply because it’s the only title in GW2 that I have which required some effort.

To be honest I’m more bored of people who make “unique” combinations and then come on the forum and complain about everyone else copying each other.

It’s not like it will be the last unlimited pick, I would expect another themed one some time in the future if the molten one sold well.

I’ve done 48 runs with no rares and barely any greens. Fractals in general are terrible for money.

Really? I found the dungeon to be about as difficult as CoF 1. Don’t see how anyone would have any issues with it.

It makes things so much worse when you see someone get a skin you want twice in a row… Really wish they would introduce the ability to trade skins.
