We’ve gone over the insta noob scroll idea before and its a terrible idea . GW 2 is already super easy to go from 1-80 through normal play and you can actually learn your class by doing that . Shocking isn’kitten

My personal favorite mediums are the Norn T1 and T3 sets, on females the T1 still comes awful close to being a trench/duster, but its not bad when mixed right. I just hate having to turn to T3 Human, Norn, or that duelist chest (none of who dye well with anything) with Vigil leggings (same dye issue) to attempt to break out of the trench warfare stalemate that medium armor has been locked in since launch. The recent gem store addition (who came out with “phalanx heavy” but name i forget) is probably their best stab yet at a full suit of medium without weirdness (norn t2 chest covers the forearms of gloves, and all of them just dont dye right), though I would still like to see something a bit more down to earth along the way, without the duster, weird, weird dye shading, strangely placed bits (vigil medium shoulder, im lookin @ U) or rather eye bending single bit (can’t get my head around the female human t3 with SANDALS (named Assassin’s BOOTS…really?) Don’t get me started on shoulders…. that old dead horse hasn’t any flesh left to beat. sigh

I’ve been playing mmo’s since around 2003 and it’s the first time i experience something like that. You might say it’s cool that Anet listened to a part of the playerbase that was kitten ed with seeing T3 armor on the gemshop, but by doing this, they probably kitten ed off another group of players, like me, who actually paid money to support them.

It’s a big mess and in the end, i’m not sure there’s going to be a winner.

Account bound tools? they use to be soulbound and are now account so somthing you bought in the past may get buffed .

Isn’t it obvious ? The artists had medium skill with medium imagination in their medium .

As much as i dislike WvW i know if i ever want map completion I’m going to have to do WvW for it despite the fact the mists aren’t part of the world . Yes it may take your server a while to get SM or rotate to a certain color but eventually it will . You may as well get the rest of the map while you wait .

ANet did say a while back they were looking into adding weapons to classes but I dont know that giving all classes all weapons would make them more diverse . As for Dwarves they’ve all been turned to stone when they underwent the rite of the Great Dwarf so dont expect to see them at all .

You realize you just contradicted yourself right ? First you say they said no expansions then you quote them as saying Expansions are something they’ll look into and that they are open to . That’s hardly the same thing

Of course the Samurai was also simply the eastern version of the Knight so dont expect to see it .

Thats the thing though , 1 free transfer once per year? When most people would only transfer servers once maybe twice in the course of playing the game in a life time ANet wouldnt make any money on that policy .

While i wont disagree with fighting more elder dragons im not going to say Expansion is the only option . I DO think they need to focus the LS more on opening up more areas rather than changing old ones though

How many times do you expect people to be transferring servers? I doubt many people are going to do it more than once period unless you’re spying on a rival server

Elementalist sounds tempting because I do like the looks of light armor. However, I’ve read that it is an underwhelming profession (i.e. it takes a lot of effort to be as effective as other professions). Also, I already have a Mesmer. Perhaps an Elementalist is more straightforward?

Eles have a steep learning curb and can be squishy do to the low base health but once you’re use to it can kick some serous butt .

As an RP element I’m fine with it I enjoy a good RP every now and then but once you add bonuses that’s where I’m against it .

Not entirely true we would still have Palawa Joko’s forces to deal with . It can be assumed that his forces would prevent any kind of push into Elona from the Crystal Desert . As far as Jormag being the closest we dont entirely know if that is true either since we dont know Kralkatorrik’s exact location. Ebonhawk has a portal to the Crystal Desert after all .

Much of the Prophesies/EOTN sound track is actually in GW2 you just have to listen for it . Weather or not the Factions/Nightfall music will be added later is debatable but I liked quite a bit of it .

3 would actually increase inflation drastically because it takes the trading post out of the equation . For every transaction on the trading post there is a 15%% tax taking gold out of the economy . Without the TP tax the inflation would be much higher right now . What exactly are you going to spend your gold on once the TP goes away anyway since all gold is account bound?

Now wait….You cant just go from an Ele who wears light armor to an Obi tank that wears heavy . Your ele would lose all their armor that you spent all that money on gearing up . Additionally no class should be based on race as you seem to be implying with the priest

so you want to play with yourself in dungeons do you ? No i think i’ll pass on that idea . Dungeons should be kept as team content not dumbed down so just one person can do it. If they did that the only thing you would need to group up for is Meta events and thats not even grouping up
