No it was Rurik’s sword . After Rurik was killed by Dagnar Stonepate at the Frost Gate the Lich reanimated him in the ring of fire during the finial mission . The Volcano there however erupts shortly after you leave so where the sword went from there is anyone’s guess .

not really . Even if you weren’t into booking or farming of any sort just killing stuff got you factiion as long as you talked to the guy right outside of town . I’ll give you that some of the skills were annoying to get but getting faction was easy .
In GW1 I played the first 2.5 years after release. I have no idea what you are talking about, must have come later.
Unless you are talking about elite capping, which wasn’t a grind at all.
They are talking about skills like the Kurzick, Dwarven or Light bringer skills which when you had higher ranks in in the title they got slightly more powerful . of course what they dont say is that it was a joke to level those titles . The only things you could really call a grind in GW 1 were things like Frog Scepter farming for obby armor or the VSF farm
So basically creating 4 (different armors)*2 (gender) * 5 (races)?
That is a total of 40 new armors. Or 240 pieces all in all.Sadly I don’t think that is possible. At least not in a foreseeable future.
i dont think any of us expects to see it in the near future but it would be something nice in a future update down the road at some point

An excellent idea . I would base the look of them off area of acquisition . For instance Kryta would have 2 one vendor in Ascalon settlement and one in Kessex somewhere, 3 vendors in Ascalon 3 in Orr 4 in the shiverpeaks all with different looks to them
Most of the monthlies can simply be done in the queensdale zerg . after that just finish off your daylies and you’re done .

Guilds are sever based and any guild you join all your characters are a part of ( keep this in mind if you join a 100 % rep guild ).
You can NOT have characters on multiple servers . As you stated this would allow for spying .
Most of the character creation questions will have an effect on your personal story the exception being personal item questions and the ferocity/dignity/charm question . They will NOT have an effect on what skills you acquire however .

All giving the sword up would do is give up a bargaining chip . Kryta gains more by not freeing up that front so why would they ?On top of that it puts queen Jenna at high risk of getting killed for a legend which makes no sense

actually less people would buy dyes if they were account bound cause they wouldn’t need as many and the dye market would crash overnight. It’s one of those good for the player bad for the economy things so i dont see it changing .
Its concept art so chances are you wont . Since it says Norn Svanir in the corner it would indicate its concept art for HotW armor however so you may as well look at the vendor in LA for it .
As yet Anet has not implemented any rewards for people who got their HOM points to 50. I understand some people will say that this was not compulsory however Anet has never indicated that there will be no rewards after 31 points added to this HOM points is maxed at 50, why is this so?
I feel the time spent grinding these points were wasted in GW1 which I am supposed to be rewarded in GW2.
Nor should they . I have all the HoM rewards but they shouldn’t add more post launch . Thats just a big F you to all the non GW1 players especially post launch .

Lets take the male /female thing out of the equation. In general Medium armor needs more variety than trenchcoats cause that’s all it has right now bar maybe 1 or 2 sets and that’s not enough

One last question – Can you lvl solely by PvP ? I just love PvP in this game. I have been PvPing in Rift since that game came out, and this has really opened my eyes as to what good PvP is. I’d love to be able to just PvP and lvl that way.

Technically you CAN level from 1-80 in WvW but you’re better off not as its slower to just level 1 way than it is to to mix it up . Besides if you ever want a legendary you’ll need map completion .
Well um isnt that kinda redundant . Gold sellers by nature are rude to begin with . Report them for spamming and gold selling then block them thats all you can really do

I personally use Glimmerfang but for a look like that maybe Soulshard , Shiverpeak dirk or vigil dagger would work well. You would have to transmute stats of course but that shouldn’t be a problem .
Account bound may be good for the player but in all likelihood would be bad for the economy .

Honestly though….if/when you guys add new maps consider adding in classes that fit those maps… Dervish seems to fit in so well with this system…
In regards for armor type for Dervish…you could always make a 4th type in between Medium and Heavy. (just sayin) OR just make them have medium chest/leggings/helm (code wise) and heavy boots/shoulders/gauntlets…. this cuts out a lot of clipping issues.
Seriously though, Id pay for this class to be added in….I know some other people have classes they would like to see as well.

If you REALLY want to talk about waiting Jormag has an hr and 15 min timer , are you really going to make the argument that getting organized for a dragon for 30-an hr before hand that you know when hes going to show up is worse than waiting for possibly an hour and 15 min doing nothing ?
