I hope they make GW2 for console. There, now let us talk

my choice is PS4 so far.
Xbox for me, I like online functionality and support with my products. Also I like to keep my personal information, well, personal. Sony is such a cheeky devil though

Suck the money out of the brand…So kinda like Anet did with the Guild Wars franchise? It goes both ways. I don’t like being lied to about a product either.
Well here u are completely wrong.
First: there is only one product with GW franchise – is GW1, and it was the same innovative MMO at it’s time like second now. The second part – a brand new product, devoid of clichés.
The second goesn’t “gets by” success or the ideas of the first part.
Secondly: it is impossible to argue that the game was made for the idea and the idea of ??it has and will continue to be, gathering clones created by these ideas by other developers..Sucking money out of the brand – is selling a massive amount of copies, recoup the costs of product development, which often proves to be quite commonplace and of poor quality and does not implement all the promises. Huge sale mainly provided by success and/or popularity of the PREVIOUS parts or the success of any other products with this franchise. (Remembering StarWars and EA.)
The already clear that Anet is not involved in this. But Bethesda could.
Um. That is exactly what Anet did my friend. Cashed in on the reputation of GW1, promised many things through their little manifesto, then didn’t deliver. Now box sales have come to a major slowdown, so they milk the remaining people still hanging around with highway robbery style gem store pricing and RNG chests that make even Perfect World games blush.
I want this game to succeed, but how long can you stick around when every patch strays further from what they said the game would be.

To all those that claim GW2 is still not perfect ….
My GW2 folder is actually called C:\Guild Wars 1.9 because experience taught me MMOs are usually in beta until the first expansion pack (at least, some for at least 2 more expansions). Until the first expansion, I will consider GW2 a beta product, like all other MMOs I played at launch.
Disagree. The game might not be perfect. But it is not “underdone”, as u mean.
With that, the game does not put a lot of things promised, it is still close to the ideal. There does not appear serious bugs mechanics, destroying some aspect of the game. (Played Warhammer online ever?).
In addition most of the complaints some sort of “and where the raids?” and “where hardcore?”, “and where a bunch of awards for this or that”, " there is too muchgrind" “there is too little grind”, “my class is not like I wanted to”, “why thou class is stronger is PvP than mine” and stuff like that. Most of complainers did not pass any serious dungeon or high fractals or, even, participated in the qualitative WvW raids. So it’s all complain just for the sake of complaining. Will be always complain. The game can not meet all the wishes of all the players. It is simply not possible.
Plus, I want to note that this game is very different in structure from the others. Everyone was waiting for it and rejoiced. And now there is a lot of whining on why is there no trivial components from other projects. Like raids, and directed healing, ever-increasing level of equipment, etc. Didn’t u think that it’s the have to abandon the template format and enjoy a new way?
Probably not because I’ll be playing The Elder Scrolls Online by the time Anet releases a GW2 expansion.
Do not waste your time. Did you see the “leaked” videos? Another clone with new elements, which are also cloned. And look … 2013 and still can not make normal tissue physics. Disgraceful. Infamous triangular robes…. Bwe… Character animation, by the way… eeem… does not shine, as in other series lineup. Sadly, but it’s another attempt to suck money out of the brand, as it is fashionable in recent years.
Suck the money out of the brand…So kinda like Anet did with the Guild Wars franchise? It goes both ways. I don’t like being lied to about a product either.

I think the problem is some bad apples on DB were chest thumping in the first couple weeks of T2, and that hurt a lot of people’s feelings, and now it’s payback time.
I seriously doubt we hurt FA and TC’s feelings. Well maybe TC’s.
Dunno about the chest thumping thing, never saw much myself.
I refer you to Mayoken and RawNoodles
Ok?

Heya TC/FA. One of the few remaining Kain here.
T3 is so dead. Even having lost thousands of WvW’ers and with only 1 major remaining WvW guild we are managing to stay in T3. This makes it clear that the gap between T2 and T3 is now so huge that there is not way a T3 server could make it in T2 without a huge bandwagon.
So maybe remember that when thinking about DB. If it was just the old guard, they probably would have been stomped back down in T3 in one week (since the reason they made it up was Kain’s collapse).Anyway hope you guys are still doing what you do. <3
if you didn’t look we was stomping T3 well before w got any transfer in ye our transfer have helped a huge ton, but we would not have been push overs ether.
We’ll never know.
Of course you knew, you’re just being a kitten about it. You already fought the version of Dragonbrand that was supposed to move up to T2. Did Dragonbrand ever stop fighting even when TC/FA visited T3? Nope, we were out there fighting back the hordes of TC/FA who were clearly waaaay to big for T3.
That same Dragonbrand – without the transfers – was poised to move up to T2 against BOTH of the servers that destroyed T3. You know exactly what was going to happen – Dragonbrand would fight our hardest and work with what we had – but eventually get destroyed and swap places with either Mag or Kain week after week because of the huge population disparity between the T2 and T3 servers.
It’s not hard to deduce what was going to happen when TC/FA has already seen what Dragonbrand was all bout before the transfers. We were clearly too small for T2 when ONE T2 server came down to T3.
Well said.

There is an option under the general options tab that enables, in effect, sticky targeting. It won’t drop your target until you click on someone else. It’s a god send in WvW.
I think the point is that the game often registers things that aren’t clicks, as clicks. Like when you move the camera quickly, or sometimes even just while standing near something.
Now that it does do, and I don’t know a fix for it. The stick targeting helps, but doesn’t eliminate the problem.
RIP my fair Engi and Ranger, you will be missed.
Looking back at old videos and things i’ve noticed everything you guys hyped was probably the biggest disappointment. For instance Zhaitan. That was probably one of the biggest things we all looked forward to. His epic battle, his epic design, just everything felt so big about him. What do we get? A boss easier than CoF P1. Same with having your own story. I never much cared about stories in game but this one seemed interesting. Because i felt “wow i can actually make a happy character that’s kinda clumsy or a dark angry one” which instead i get a emotionless character that seems kinda heartless. The story kinda fell of around the time treahearne came in and even before that the 1-30 was kinda generic, and don’t get me started on the voice acting. I heard some good ones that actually made me feel emotional when that character was lost (sieren) but the rest i didn’t even care 2 kittens about. For instance Tegwen. Yea, she died and her friend? Her best friend that did everything with her. Sounded like she was depressed because her favorite donut was sold out at the store.
Point is I feel like you guys need to improve everything you hyped because a lot of new players see that and when they buy the game expect it. TBH i woulda waited another year or maybe even 2 if i knew that it would end up like this if being released soon
Honestly I am not sure why they even bothered with the “personal story”. It felt really kitten and, frankly, it stopped being a “personal” story as soon as the tree guy (Trahern, sp?) shows up. Working on my 4th 80 and wont even bother with the “story” except as filler XP , and even then it will be “skip to the end” of every dialog (that started on my first 80 about the time of the retake of claw island mission…have yet to see dialog past that point).
Sadly I ended up doing this too, I remember almost distinctly getting tired of the Personal Story around Claw Island and skipping the rest of the dialog.

Gotta say as a Norn I prefer the heavy or medium armor. Light armored Norn’s….look silly to me.

Here’s the sales from the NCsoft May 10th earning call . As you can see, GW 2 is almost making the same amount of money than Aion, Lineage 2 and Blade & Soul reunited .
But way less than Lineage, a game that’s been release in 1998… You are trying to show this picture and tell us that gw2 is doing well… i have no words…
I know, it’s really disheartening and worrying. I’m thinking if they changed the RNG GW2 may be their best seller, but I can’t say for sure.
RIP my fair Engi and Ranger, you will be missed.
Well you can get Beserker / Valkyrie, which is lame.
Or you can do what I did, which is get Cavalier instead. It’s just like Valkyrie except with Toughness instead of Vitality. If you are loaded up on Valkyrie armor or gems, you probably have more than enough Vit already. Might as well mix some Tough in to make that nice big HP pool last a bit longer.Edit: Although having double-checked to make sure I wasn’t misleading you (haha sorry), it turns out Valk is Power primary and Vit secondary, whereas Cavalier is Tough primary and Power secondary, so Your Mileage May Vary. (I like my characters tanky, so I <3 Cavalier.)
This is actually what I was going to suggest, It depends on your class anyway. Personally I feel my guardian benefits more from cavalier’s anyway in WvW/PvE
RIP my fair Engi and Ranger, you will be missed.
Right now they are making bank on people who can’t add. When those people leave, I’ll start worrying for development money, unless they evolve their business model to be more than pulling a lever at a casino. To each their own.
Supply is nearly unlimited. According to a very wise and smart businessman, there’s one born every three seconds (adjusted for birth rate of the contemporary world population).
Haha I like that, gave me a good laugh because it’s actually pretty true.
RIP my fair Engi and Ranger, you will be missed.
Let me clarify the only reason why I personally left Rift was because I contracted a lifelong disabling disease that prevented me from being able to afford a monthly sub on any game title. That’s the only reason.
Boy I’m about to make both our days. No pay to win and all the bonuses if I have already bought Storm Legion? Ownage! New Raid, Chronicle and Dungeon as well coming with the F2P patch. Very glad they took a non P2W stance as well, very happy reading over that page.
http://www.riftgame.com/en/promo/freetoplay.php
Read over it some more, it’s pretty much a carbon copy of the EQ1 F2P model which is AMAZING. Patron game time will be available for in game currency. Wow. Way to go Rift And not a single mention of a gambling box. My god.
There is much to be learned from Trion already Anet and they just stepped into the F2P realm.

- that they would have suddenly decided that dungeons were their new focus instead of open world permanent DEs and permanent metas every month, and then try to make up for it with lousy temporary content
Dungeons have NEVER been the focus of the game…. They are just an afterthought that was never implemented properly. There is nothing in dungeons that’s worth more than doing open world events, if you “farm” the World Bosses you will end up with more gold/loot than dungeon farming, with the sole exception of CoF P1 maybe.
If anything dungeons have been neglected since release and never got what they should have. Dungeon loot is still horrible, especially at high level fractals where you actually have to try and play the game to win (unlike anything in the open world), there is still a huge difference in rewards between dungeon paths, effort isn’t rewarded AT ALL.
And see that’s what really irks me. The whole kitten system seems so broken at this point it’s going to be impossible to make everyone happy. There are no tanks, no healers, but they focus on dungeons, but they don’t really because not all paths have equal rewards, etc.
I mean seriously, it’s like dating someone with multiple personality disorder sometimes
RIP my fair Engi and Ranger, you will be missed.
I’m the same way man but in other areas of the game.
If only I had known, __________ ,I would have never wasted my money:
- that they would have suddenly decided that dungeons were their new focus instead of open world permanent DEs and permanent metas every month, and then try to make up for it with lousy temporary content
- that instead of learning from every mmo that’s tried this and failed, they still used DR on loot and that’s only affected open world drops severely ( there’s some moderate stuff in dungeon but being cut off 99.999998% is not a good thing in open world after explaining that we would have any gameplay choice we want lead to the same rewards)
- that there will come a day when agony is expected in the new dungeon content despite re-assurances that they wouldn’t cut off content via a gear treadmill.
- that the only way they will ever fix all of the bugs and design flaws is to actually start work on an expansion with no official launch date
- that they’d only have two people (it’s gotta be) working on class balance in PVE, neither of which actually like playing an engineer (including most everyone at their company) as the main so it’s testing is very lacking
- that they’d never use the standards of successful unbiased testing every other AAA mmo out there has used successfully for years, a PTR
- that they’d cause class imbalance by not separating the behaviors between PVP PVE WVW in skills since day 1 instead of when it’s almost a year old and thus too late
- that they’d only have 85% of all new cosmetics available for RL money in the shop instead of in the game available from play not designed to require a very large guild that’s constantly online and grouped
If people go back and actually look at the videos with their interviews, they’d see what I’m talking about.
I’m mystified. How have they decided that dungeons are their new focus?
Well they did add Fractals and an entire tier of gear to the game just for dungeon players…meanwhile….WvW got a culling fix, broken ACs, and skill lag. It’s not hard to see the heavy dungeon focus in this game. Even the F&F event culminated in ANOTHER dungeon run.
RIP my fair Engi and Ranger, you will be missed.
Pretty much every major MMO on the market has SOME element of GW2 already in it. They didn’t do anything groundbreaking with this game really other than a non clunky dodge system, and possibly hearts. Everything else was borrowed from previous MMO’s. I could list examples if you want but it may have to wait until I get home from work.
I will be patiently waiting for your examples then.
DEs – Rifts zone events were much more enthralling and encompassing for me. A couple of waves of mobs from a DE is nothing to compare to an army invading from the elemental planes. They did these before GW2 ever came out. Warhammer did them before even Rift did.
WvW – Obvious, but DAoC, Shadowbane, etc.
Fractals/Dungeons – Once again, a staple of nearly every MMO since the beginning.
Personal Story – Yea, EQ and DAoC had these too, and they were better, and gave you unique items rather than some blue or green item.
sPvP – Thanks WoW for making any non siege PvP into an arena based nightmare.
Hearts – Really not groundbreaking, all they did was skip the part where you click accept at an NPC. But I’ll give them that this was a new feature for every MMO I have played personally.
Dodge System – Done by many other games before GW2, but I will say the GW2 system feels much more fluid than others. (TERA just off the top of my head, but it was so clunky!)
Weapon Skills based of Weapon Type – Yep, DAoC did this too, and not only that, you got 25 different skills to choose from. So nothing new here for GW2.
That pretty much wraps it up I think, apologies if I forgot anything anyone else considers a feature, this was a rather quick list at work as I said.
Rifts DEs, even their zone wide events are NOT what you have in Guild Wars 2. Do you know why Rift failed as a game for me.
Because they left in the traditional questing to level. People ignored Rifts and later zone events because the rewards for them were neglible. And people were kitten off because they couldn’t turn in quests to a quest guy because their zone was taken over and there weren’t enough people on their server to take it back, so they’d have to wait an hour for the zone to despawn.
I agree that when people did them they were exciting, but they were repeated every hour or so all night long, completely disrupting the entire zone. The problem is Rift did everything in half measure. They kept all the old stuff like traditional questing, raidiing and all that. Guild Wars 2 is the first game that went the whole way. Heart quests have multiple ways to fill them (something you couldn’t do in anything in Rift). Dynamic events chain, something that didn’t happen in Rift either. Some of them tell stories. They have have different conditions which can change the follow up event, none of which happened in Rift.
Please don’t try compare what this game offers with dynamic events compared to what Rift had. Sure some of the events are extremely repetitive, but some of the big event chains are far beyond anything Rift did with dynamic events.
I disagree completely, I feel like Rift events were epic and awe inspiring, I wasn’t even surprised the first time SB popped out of the swamp, but I kitten sure crapped my pants when I saw 50 invaders plowing through a hole torn in the sky. GW2 has not once given me that feeling, even at the dragons I really wish I could say it did.
It’s an atmosphere thing, and personally I don’t mind the quest system, it’s the same thing as hearts to me, without clicking accept. I even think the Rift living story ( or chapters) is much better than GW2.
To me it sounds like you played Rift at release, and I played it 6 months after. When I got there, population was booming, people were friendly, and the game was fun. I always had plenty of people to do Rifts and Zone events with. The only time I noticed a drop in zone event participation is when they added the Instant Adventure quests, which were an awesome idea that GW2 could learn a lot from.
RIP my fair Engi and Ranger, you will be missed.
Just wondering—they pretty much are redefining the mold of MMORPG the way they’re doing it, and with no subscription fee and consantly new events how do you think they’re making enough money? The game itself is getting cheaper, too (sales n’ such) are they just doing THAT well that I shouldn’t be concerned for the company?
Yeah, never before have I felt a game was so good that I’d be concerned they weren’t charging enough. I just don’t want this to go away, lol
Right now, it’s basically a giant countdown timer in LA square, give them a few more months/years of RNG to run people off, sprinkle some one time content that only runs for 2 weeks and BAM.
I’m not saying this is what will happen, but rather what could happen, it’s up to Anet which direction they take.
Right now they are making bank on people who can’t add. When those people leave, I’ll start worrying for development money, unless they evolve their business model to be more than pulling a lever at a casino. To each their own.
Honestly I’m a little worried too now that I think of the lack of development and bug fixes the past few months. Maybe I’m just spoiled from other companies.
RIP my fair Engi and Ranger, you will be missed.
I agree with what you’ve said Aeon, but what about individualized loot and gathering nodes, and shared experience with other players in the world, even when you’re not grouping, and level scaling so you can go back and play in any zone in the game and still have some payoff. I didn’t play too many different MMOs before GW2, but the few I did play didn’t have this stuff, and it improves quality of gameplay a ton for me.
Good points! I will say the individualized loot is something I forgot about that I do think is a nice feature. Shared experience may or may not be something I have run into before on another game, memory is kind of fuzzy on that one. Level scaling was done in EQ2 and Rift as well for games I have played.
You are very right about individual loot being an important one I forgot, it makes the game much more manageable, and was a good addition as I can’t think of another game that does it quite like GW2
RIP my fair Engi and Ranger, you will be missed.

I think we all agree on that this game needs a test server where they can tweak stuff everyday for perfection. At least till now the internal testing did not work out so good…
This is assuming they are even testing the changes, they don’t ever tell us what they are doing or a time frame or anything, so really it’s up in the air whether live servers actually ARE the test servers.
I just can’t see a lot of the changes that have been made going through if they had been properly tested.

You know, “everybody does it,” has got to be one of the LAMEST support arguments out there. I seem to recall a time where the developers were telling everyone they were unique, they were creating something bold and new and had never been done. When they were called out, the fanbois rallied around them, yelling, “Everybody does it!” Well, even if they do, it doesn’t make the OP’s statements wrong, does it? It just tells those of us with our eyes opened not to trust what is being said by this company.
And this MMO is completely unique. I dare you to find another one with this combat system, with this questing system, with this gathering system, etc.

I like the downed state idea. Maybe skills could use some tweaking, what doesnt.
But I dont follow the complaint of “I killed him he should be dead wuwuwu” … if you kill someone he is dead and have to be revived by someone else or at a WP. People arent dead in downed state, they’re just on their last leg. If you attack someone, he goes down and you break off, you didnt kill him.
If you want to be realistic about it like you are inferring in your post, then they would lay there “downed” and freaking bleed out no matter how many idiots held out their hands and stood over them, because they just got their face chopped in half with a sword.
The word you meant to use was implying, not inferring, except he isn’t implying that he wants things to be realistic, he’s outright stating that people continue to argue that if you ‘down’ someone, you’ve won the fight, when that is not the case. The reason it is not the case is not because it isn’t realistic, just because that isn’t how the game works. In the game, downed =/= dead.

If you aren’t happy with those changes, I’ll be more surprised than the Imperial Japanese Army was by Marshal Georgy Zhukov at the battle of Nomonhan. I think that fits the criteria. Sort of.
Credibility is zero. My guess is that we get more and more powerful siege, because that is all that seems to change with WvW.
Your credibility is zero.

Wow, I’ve never been called an e-thug before.
I’m just sick and tired of people coming on these forums saying things like that. Or threatening to quit if they don’t get there way. Or saying the devs don’t care.
Yeah right. They don’t care. They’ve worked for years (many years) creating a game because they don’t care.
If you disagree with something the devs do fine. But don’t be a jerk about it.
Fair enough. In all honesty I just wanted to use the phrase e-thug, you really were quite polite considering what you could have said :P

Um. Pretty much every other game doesn’t charge you for the same basic function they charge gems for. It’s called wardrobe in LotRO, and many other games have it.
So no, I don’t really care for Trans stones. But they are a necessary evil if you want you character to look decent in this game.

It really hasn’t grown and flourished…
From the MMO’s I’ve played recently…namely Rift, WoW, SWTOR, even Runescape..lol
They were all much more social and easier to make friends in. To just have people to play with.
When I said I hope this is not the way MMO’s are heading I meant that more as a shot in the dark..For people to read it and say well kitten GW2 truly is the only popular MMO on the market where 80% of the playerbase rarely speaks in /say or /map chat or hangs out together to do quests or just have fun together…they just stay in guild chat or on random private ventrillo servers and talk.
Again, I love the Guild Wars 2 game. I just really dislike the approach that the COMMUNITY has chosen to go towards social interaction. It’s very pro anti-social and if I wanted to play the game as if it was single player with a guild chat, I would play Skyrim and open up a chat channel with other Skyrim players in it and talk like that.
Cause quite frankly theres no difference in the two and thats where I’m going with this. It’s Multiplayer -_-
Also PLEASE for the love of god and the last time I’ll say this. This has nothing to do with guilds, I’m aware of what guilds are and what they require and what they do and I’m not referring to them in any way, shape, or form.
There are always the reclusive people that never speak outside of the Guild that they are in but quite frankly that’s never been the majority in any of the MMO’s I mentioned above.
I always knew those type of people but they were always 1 among many other social people who gathered together to quest, duel(not an option in this game I know), que for dungeons(again not an option) or do battlegrounds or world pvp with.
It just seems that this type of behavior is a majority in GW2 and I have to look for the minority who reign supreme in other MMOs.
If anyone knows of a NA server that is quite social I would apprecaite it
EDIT: people mentioned Tarnished Coast.
I’m just baffled. Rift chat was dead except for Guild Chat and my friends, same for TOR and TERA. PUG groups and randomly meeting people DOES NOT happen the way you think it should anymore. Honestly the last game I can remember playing where I didn’t mind a pug group was..probably vanilla WoW, before it became all about stat caps and the meta game.
You can thank the broad casualization and kittenization of the entire genre for that.
That being said, TC is a good server, it’s the unofficial RP server, so maybe random people will throw you some thee’s and thou’s.
RIP my fair Engi and Ranger, you will be missed.
8k deficit made up over night?
Dragonbrand has closed insanely worse deficits before. You haven’t participated in competitive match-ups in a long time huh? Or did you trick yourself into thinking Dragonbrand was this sort of super-monster-server and T2’s match-ups were decided already? We’re a T2 server just like FA and TC – 99.8% of Dragonbrand knows it – certain posters just hyped us up and you seem to have bought into it.
Read my previous post on p.13
No I think dragonbrand tricked itself by challenging TC/FA to get them below 200 ppt. Yeah, we won’t forget that one.
So one person says something about PPT and that suddenly encompasses hundreds of players.
Yea I reach when I feel threatened too. We are at least a competitive T2 server now from the NA transfers we got, before We would of been the spoilers, bouncing between t2 and t3. I don’t think anyone wants that.

I like the presumption oozing from the thread title, as if downed state is a bug that should have been addressed by now.
What do you mean why is it still there?
Did you think it would be going somewhere?
It’s part of the game, if you don’t like it, don’t play WvW or play a different game altogether. The developers are not framing the game’s updates around what parts of the game you personally give a thumbs-up.
brb while I start an equally ill-worded and nonsensical new thread called ‘Why still pets in ranger profession?’
“Please take your tinfoil hats off and be reasonable. ~ReginaB”
Comon dude, it’s even in your signature. It’s not like this is a new issue either way, there are several topics out there about downed state disparity and reasons why it detracts from WvW, strategy, fun, and multiple other factors.
The argument can be made both ways for strategy I suppose, but there is nothing more infuriating than winning a fight and having a zerg roll in and just rez everyone. All downed state really does is award players for making mistakes by getting a second chance for essentially being bad.

Or just play the class that you find so OP instead.
Maxing and alt in this game takes much much less time than any other MMO, which was the best idea in the history of mmorpg’s.
Well that’s just silly. There are several games faster than this one for hitting the cap, but this is a relatively short game from a leveling experience stand point.
Sorry! On topic: Downed state is a bad idea in PvP/WvW, but Anet doesn’t like to admit they are wrong. Don’t get your hopes up.
It’s like the eventual under water living story I’m pretty sure they are going to make at some point. God help us when that happens, under water combat is awful to me.

Question in title. If someone charges to portal people to the end of a jumping puzzle. Is that illegal in any way?
I feel like it’s a “You’re not wrong, you’re just an kitten hole”, but any pointer would be nice.
Banned? No? Jack kitten Yes.
RIP my fair Engi and Ranger, you will be missed.
What the….I don’t even…
What if I like the current rating system?
No choice most likely. It will be like the trap thing. “Hey guys we did this for you! Cool huh!” …. “UH….why?!?”
That being said, the rating system needs some work. Servers should have a chance to move up a tier or down a tier more often.
RIP my fair Engi and Ranger, you will be missed.
As it stands now with trinkets, Ascended items have roughly 5% increased stats over Exotics. Nothing too bad, if you ask me.
Agony Resistance
YOU NEED ascended to play….
Every piece requires about 3 weeks.
Any patch could render your PvE build useless because some PvP player is sad :|
Any further ascended item will be an issue.
That’s assuming the person is doing fractals, which a lot of us don’t give a rat’s fart about.
RIP my fair Engi and Ranger, you will be missed.
The only social barrier you have is the one you erected yourself. Find a guild. Or actually talk to someone. If you can’t find someone to talk to, guest to a t3-1 server, they are all decently populated during prime time.
I’m not even really sure what you are asking, if you are looking for trolls in map chat, there really aren’t many around, at least on my server.
Most people ARE socializing….with their guilds and friends :P
RIP my fair Engi and Ranger, you will be missed.
I don’t care either way if they add it or not, but if they do, make sure we can get it in WvW somehow. Still waiting, since november, for ascended in WvW. I don’t think they should even consider adding the armor till they actually give us the freaking jewelery.
RIP my fair Engi and Ranger, you will be missed.
What win? Fuzzion why you so obsessed with dragon brand brah? Go take care of your server in game. If you spent less time crying about noodles you guys might be doing better. I Dont think anyone in tc fa or db gives two dookies about your opinion on t2. “My servers dying and I’ll cry if I want to cryyy if I want to!” Just let it go man. Also if you would like to talk to me on TS I’m down. Man talk. You need someone to save you from yourself. I’m here for you baby cakes. <3
He won’t take you up on that, he’d rather just smart off and run his mouth like he knows something.
Good fights last night in TC BL, our small group had a ton of fun even after TC showed up in force hehe

No thank you. Ever.
RIP my fair Engi and Ranger, you will be missed.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but I read your post and the message I’m getting from you is that individuals who are low income earners have no self control and ANet is exploiting their lack of control to make money. And you are against it. Is that right?
I’m saying that these tactics are targetting vunerable people, getting out of poverty is hard enough without having these tactics around in the general market, and a game that applies these strategies is imo just wrong.
you should not have a computer good enough to run this MMO in poverty. And those people do not have 0 self control. If to talk about who suffers from this then it would be gambling addicts only.
Actually a large chunk of American’s living below the poverty line can certainly afford a computer. Do you know how poverty is actually defined in the US? It certainly doesn’t mean you are flat broke without anything :P
RIP my fair Engi and Ranger, you will be missed.
What are you talking about?
Back during the whole “Isle of Jaspenwood” thing, we had a lot more courtesy regarding your transfers than you’re having about ours.Every post coming out of FA is just “Dragonwagon this” or “Brandwagon that”,
Show some class and get over it.I’ve decided that Asudementio wanted an easy stomp (like he had when FA was in T3 – even after their IoJ transfers) . He (notice i said he, and not the whole FA) didn’t get the easy win and is bitter about it.
I’ve never seen anyone complain so much about an abundance of targets on the field and a decently competitive tier.
I don’t want an easy stomp but don’t let me persuade you otherwise. What i want is a competitive tier with well-mannered opponents, but i gave up on that long ago when i first saw how DB decided to portray themselves. No one i playwith enjoys easy fights, but we enjoy condescending kitteny opponents even less.
With our new transfers, we have made it a competitive tier. Had we not had the boost to our NA, which we were always desperately in need of – we would’ve been slaughtered in T2 and you would have little resistance (from DB) during NA prime.
Also, check the history – which tags brought you to the conclusion that Dragonbrand was condescending and not well-mannered? Perhaps you should start focusing your jabs towards certain guilds/persons and not Dragonbrand as a whole. but of course – it’s easier to generalize.
I couldn’t disagree more. I find generalizing harder because there is so much more inconsistency in the posts i reply to.
Well that explains things. Wait, no it doesn’t. What?
It’s times like this Dave Chappelle should make a come back.
RIP my fair Engi and Ranger, you will be missed.
Hahaha, this is the attitude that made games like EQ2 and SWToR a ghost town ( TOR obviously had issues other than fanboys). I’m sure the 17 people sitting in LA in 2 years will take solace in the fact that they ran every other type of player out of the game.
It’s the same 4 or 5 people objecting to reducing/removing RNG and adding more skins, yet the more I read people upset with the RNG on the gem store the more names I see fed up with it.
These threads really speak for themselves, all you have to do is look through them. I look forward to Anet’s eventual response
You’re projecting a awful lot of person animus, here. Just because YOU dislike this or that about the game, or the game as a whole, doesn’t mean it’s dying. You may want it to die, but the fact is plenty of people are still enjoying the game. Sucks for you, I know, but that’s just the way it is.
I’m not sure what you are getting across. I didn’t say anything about “oh the sky is falling the game is dying” I just inferred that eventually at this rate they are going to run every other type of player away.
Is it true? Maybe. Neither of us are certain, and with the drops in population since release you would think they would want to retain the people they have here now
RIP my fair Engi and Ranger, you will be missed.
