warrior damage needs to go up then lol if we’re never going to see any type of sustain improvements which in turn will just upset the community more which is how we got nerfed in the 1st place lol
yes, more movement skills on other weaponsets would be nice main hand sword is terrible and greatsword 3 is used more as an evade than a movement skill. Warhorn no thank you.
When they mentioned boon hate mechanic a month or 2 ago I thought we would of been getting a unique class mechanic not a % damage boost trait all the way up the disc line lol.
boon hate kind of lulzy only 3% more damage per unique boon. warriors still have trouble landing their hits against semi decent players. plus it’s all the way down the discipline line.
Hope it changes the game a lil but I’m not holding my breath.
You think it will work on vapor form doesn’t that make you invulnerable? Probably only works on block type skills?

I’d probably give the guardian the upper hand in being able to keep a target close.
Leg specialist is actually bugged and won’t stack in duration if a longer duration immobilize is on the target it in fact cancels the longer duration immobilize and replaces it with the 1 second one. Also it’s in our healing trait line lol.
Weakness is probably one of the worst conditions in the game as it doesn’t effect crits. All the passive aoe condi removal in the game pretty much nullifies single use cooldown condis as well.
I wish warrior’s larger health pool mattered.

yea I heard that too. The dev said regen as well and then the other one said short burst of regeneration and that’s on the new turtle’s defense replacement trait.
I assume it’s going to be the regen boon and probably work like the old turtle’s defense proc worked except instead of toughness increase it will be regen boon.
The more I think about it these changes are pretty small changes but I guess that’s the path they are taking.
I would of thought we would of seen some boon love like vigor or retaliation spread over a few more traits or even put on some of the other weapon sets besides warhorn.
Funny how their trying to give us our cheese mechanic back of high damage 8 months after release while other classes have been just speeding down the cheese highway all along.
Overall I don’t see these changes bringing the warrior back into the pvp part of the game but I hope I’m wrong. I think we need a lot more love still.
I think I might enjoy the new signet of might if it lets us cut through the guardian heal block that might be fun.

don’t think you have a basic grasp of how conditions are applied or removed and how null field is greater than signet of stamina in everyway possible.
Null field gives multiple cleanses over a period of time that lets you stay in the fight.
Signet of stamina lets you wipe conditions but in no way gives you the protection that null field does to actually stay in the fight.
If warriors had the damage they did in beta you might have an argument but you don’t. You have to wait till your loaded up with conditions taking the ramp up damage then your cleansed but then what happens you still get loaded up again. Signet of Stamina is a horrible utility that doesn’t fit the current warrior gameplay.
Saying Mesmer’s are weak to conditions is like saying the class is weak against damage it’s absurd and a non argument.
If you would of read past the 1st sentence of the post you replied to when you entered this thread you wouldn’t make such blanket statement in the 1st place.
In closing you really don’t even have a decent understanding of general game mechanics or how the game is played let alone knowing how abilities are used through the game if they’re actually used at all.

Null fields aoe condi removal works on other allies.
So one of the strongest classes in the game should get better condition removal I don’t even understand the point your trying to make.

It would probably work a lil better if you scrapped the condi gear. Crit damage is a lil low. 50% crit damage is where you see equal returns for running it at least that’s what I think the general consensus is could be wrong.
And then for runes you could probably run lyssa or melandru/lemongrass poultry.

See a lot more rangers in wvw lately and an influx of engis. Variety makes it more fun. Still see the mighty death ball of staff skill 1 spamming guardians lol.

You don’t even know the names of the warrior abilities you call signet of rage signet of fury which makes me doubt that you even main a warrior but might have a warrior alt you leveled for some strange reason? Maybe to gather up enough courage to be able to come onto the forums and lie about how useful a warrior is in this game? I really don’t know but that build which you linked that you call viable and potent is trash.
In your description there’s hardly a mention of what the actual main strength of the build is which is aoe condition removal but ohh wait you don’t even run quick breathing(which is still bugged) because making shouts coowldown 5 seconds faster for that ohh not so powerful laughably weak shout heal is so worth it right? In your post you have spiked armor but in the build link there’s defy pain which is a horrible waste of a tactic slot even for your useless meat shield build which you supposedly roam in a small man group with.
One could come to the conclusion this isn’t even a build you run but something you just hastily ripped off from some other thread to support your general theme that warriors are fine. I guess you hoped there wouldn’t be anyone in these sub forums with eyes or an actual brain to call you out on your terrible attempts at lying?

I don’t know man a nice side dish I don’t think I would agree, 2 of the shouts are mainly pve utilities. The only shouts you could probably consider nice are fear me(way too long a cooldown) and shake if off(along with the tactic shrug it off) and the latter is only decent because of the stunbreak.
If your running this thing for thief prevention you could run so many different builds for that and you could actually kill the thief well maybe not a decent thief but you could actually do enough damage to give yourself a chance at killing them excluding the super troll thieves.
when I said banner spec I meant running just one banner with the regen trait you can fill in whatever other 2 utilities you like just thought I should clarify don’t run 3 banner utilities lol

I mean if I was in the group with Cook roaming I would totally try to get him to run a banner regen spec with hammer-sword/warhorn or shield in cleric’s gear if he wants heals so bad. Shouts haven’t been decent since release and that didn’t even last that long. He’s really gimping his group by running that. I feel sorry for the people he plays with.
I really don’t see how ppl can be having fun when the lag sets in and skills don’t fire but I guess you’re right it’s an opinion although it is a bad one
