Anet has known about bunker guardians for 8 months nothing has changed.
They’ve known about bunker ele’s for 6 months no changes.
Mesmer’s are a must in every team comp since release and received a bugged changed that gave them the ability to 1 shot ppl and that took months to fix.
Where would you get the idea that debating or what this really is whining on the forums would make anything change about the engi?
Would love to see it grant some warrior specific boons and be immune to blind. Ever since they nerfed our damage because of the cries of terrible players and gave nothing in return you really start to see how barren the warrior’s traits and skills are.

I think PVT gear is pretty terrible for warriors the increase in vitality is really minor for such a huge loss in damage. I think you’re going in the right direction use the same gear(Knight’s armor/Melandru runes with Zerker Jewelry) but switch out the rifle for a longbow and see how you like it.
If you’re going down the hammer road I’ve seen a full cleric banner regen war with the common Hammer-Sword/Warhorn setup work really well in a coordinated team using earthshaker to setup mesmer shatter bursts is pretty lulzy when everything works out just right. IDK if you have any buds that play mesmers or not and if their any good. I actually wouldn’t recommend a hammer focused trait build and definitely wouldn’t use PVT gear with it.

What balancing has Anet done to warriors? What are you talking about?
Are you talking about the beta weekends when then totally destroyed the warrior’s damage and the ability to land damage because they listened to a bunch of terrible players that didn’t even know how to dodge or move and replaced it with nothing?
Or are you talking about the several tooltip fixes and changes to underwater weapons that has happened over the last few game updates?
Ohh forgot to add Warrior’s are the least essential class in an organized zerg. The more Mesmers and Guardians with a dash of necro you have the better your zerg is.
Hammer warrior is like running a staff ele just for the aoe lightning field stun but always having to play in melee and never landing it because the animation is so slow you only hit players that have no idea how to move or dodge.
There are tons of wvw zerg vids from a hammer warrior’s perspective where the player is just running around swinging the hammer 1 skill and never actually hitting anything either I would be ashamed to post a vid like that but to each his/her own.
Seeing a lot more HgH Engis in wvw now.

Just went into wvw the 1st five classes I encountered were bunker ele, bunker ele, bunker ele, thief and mesmer.

PvE queens gonna keep this thread alive? Guess I’ll help as well. Warriors are so OP in PvE that equipping zerker gear and the right PvE weapon set you can do exactly the same damage as warriors on different classes. Warriors are so OP and bland that it’s nearly impossible to screw up the PvE dps although warriors take an amazing amount of skill to play in PvE.
I find it offensive and down right idiotic that warrior’s get brought into this argument to support this idiot’s claim.
If you had any inclination of how stupid you sound I would hope to god you would do the community a favor and break your fingers so badly that you are unable to communicate in readable words on these forums in the future.

Banners are great for point defense in WvWvW. You drop them and all your guys get stronger. Now don’t say shouts. Banners do something, shouts can never achieve: They buff raw stats.
You should realize, just how utterly broken banners are already just by sheer numbers.
Name me one shout/skill which comes close to what a banner of discipline does to your team(besides timewarp). The damage increase for the team is huge. In a big AoE, while everyone gets free regen. And it has 100% uptime.
If banners are changed the way, you suggest, the stats need to be cut down by at least 66% or they will be outright broken.

That said, however, warriors are absolute beasts in pve so its a bit of a tradeoff.

Maybe you don’t understand what the meaning of a troll build is in wvw. If everytime he got low he disengaged and returned at full health he was trolling you guys. There was absolutely no way he could of died. You said in your first post he was training the Mesmer for 3 mins. That’s wvw trolling.
If your coming from world of warcraft you’re probably at a disadvantage. Gear really means nothing because it’s so readily available to everyone in wvw and is capped at lvl 80.

When playing a warrior it really doesn’t matter how good you play. Everything depends on how terrible the opponent you’re playing against is.
That being said sounds like the thief was just trolling you guys and never engaging without his movement abilities being up.
Solution: Reroll a thief to do the same, Reroll a healy guardian and troll it up around towers and keeps you own, reroll Bunker Ele or reroll a tanky mesmer and try to stealth drop combat and wp out if things get rough.
funny how this is and isn’t right. I own a lvl80 thief for pve and both a warrior and an Elementalist D/D for pvp I might not know how to play a thief in pvp but i certainly have an idea how to play both warrior and Ellementalist in pvp and pve. and I can tell you that you don’t need skill for the warrior it’s enough to mash buttons! for the Ele on the other hand timing is very important. o and thief in pve is a lot more af a chalenge than in pvp

Fear Me wins hands down everytime. Instant cast/ohh crap button like you said and awesome as a heal interrupt and there’s nothing more satisfying as a warr in wvw fearing five ppl off a cliff to their deaths.
Even in wvw you never land stomp against even half decent opponents.
The objective of the video is to show that you can use and have fun, at least in wvw
No offense, the vid is kind of on the low end of the fun spectrum of what wars can do in wvw but I guess that’s kind of subjective. I did enjoy your double sword vid even though it was of the same class as this one.
