Speaking of which, I’ve been wondering which infusions everyone plans on going with. I’m thinking the 20% gold find would be the most valuable for a set I plan on wearing for dungeon runs, although I could be argued into the magic find infusion as well. It’s kind of selfish, but sacrificing +5 or whatever to a single stat in exchange for +20% MF/GF seems like a no brainer.

I am the same way, let me play how I want. If I wanna use mf/gf, let me do it. I will still hold my own in a dungeon, otherwise I woudn’t be going in. I am sure there will be folks saying “lf1m CoF, no MF/GF infusions” going about lol…

I remember when I bought Abyss dye for like 80s, and thought that was a lot. Almost didn’t buy it.

If a fix has been implemented, this player hasn’t seen it. Grinding events in orr, each champ and vet I down nets me the same loot as the rest of the mobs, there has been no change. Maybe less yellows, but that’s about it.

Might be a server specific thing? A few guildies and I completed it with no issue a day ago. NSP server.

Same thing happened for my any my guild the other day, we were going to do a massive karma blowout with the jugs and such we’d saved, and build up the bonus’s. SO, put out the 5% karma banner no problem, but the 15% banner was nowhere to be seen, and it didn’t even illicit a stack, or any kind of notice that it was working…but I did the math and it was indeed working as planned, but there was ZERO visibility as to it doing what it was supposed to be doing…unsettling to say the least.

I’m not saying I don’t agree with you, the sticky is mad old, from when the game started, and the issue is now worse than ever. I hate these lame bots as much as anyone else does, and it’s a slow burn seeing them ingame, while we have documented and reported for months now, with no visible relief in sight.

I was a daily fanatic, did them every day, no questions. With the patch, I do them even faster now, not sure what all the complaints are about.

Plinx is bugged, right at the start of his chain, he is laying next to the wall, on the ground, and will do nothing. The event icon to protect him has triggered, but nothing is happening.

Hope a fix is coming soon, we already wait an hour for him to come back, now its been a few days.

10x recipe…for me, 6 of my 10 attempts were success. Some folks say use the 1x recipe. I only had 172 shards on me at the time, and had a few left over after I got my 77.

There shouldn’t be a reason as to why you’d “never” be able to complete any part of the dalies. So far, nothing has been too far fetched. I wonder what ones you are having issue with?

I can say, though, that I am glad it isn’t 100/5 rm backed like Diablo is, that there is a TRUE mess.

I got very luck with my precursor, 5 exotic sets into Big Z, fifth one bore Dusk.

Also, if you are going to play Big Z for the precursor game, please ONLY go for the greatswords, if it works, you can sell it, and have a few hundred gold left over after you buy the one you need. I see folks tossing in axes, bows, staffs, and just facepalm. It’s a waste, pure and simple.

That’s weird, I play during the wee hours of the night, maybe a handful of people on, and I always have nice conversations with whoever is on…always get my questions answered, or answer anyone else’s if I know the answer. But it’s also like that if I log on at primetime. Maybe it’s your server? I am on Northern Shiverpeaks…

Sadly enough, the go-to and proven method is the jumping puzzles in wvw, with the campers and all. That’s how I got the bulk of my 500. My playtimes are such that there aren’t a ton of folks on, so it’s rare to get in with a zerg. On the days that I didn’t, it was jumping puzzles for me and my alts. The good thing is that even at lvl 2 you can run to the puzzles once you know where they are.

You must be just missing us. We roll out at 8 on the dot from Meddler’s waypoint to Grenth. Ask on map chat if you can’t find us.

I would really, REALLY, like to see more items in the gem store. I love having options and such, but it’s been the same stuff for a while now, and the TWO new items, while awesome and such, aren’t really cutting it.

Fix town gear to where they can be worn everywhere, make them transmutable so we can kitten stats to them.

Add more armor skins. Lots more.

Add more weapon skins. Lots more.

Add more appearance items. Lots more.

You have folks waiting to use your game shop, so give them something to spend money on.

I know, there is plenty of other opportunity right now in game for devs to tackle, mechanics, broken quests, bugs and what not, and I get that. This is a suggestion thread, so I am just putting out a suggestion.

There was another small patch that addressed several parts of it.

That was probably it then. When I saw the AOE’s cover the floor, I was like “ok here we go” and got launched once, but I figured it out, and it wasn’t so bad.

That and the zerg we were in was the stuff of legends, lol.

For a while there was some good mob farming off the southeast end in the waters, but that seems to have been dumbed down. I ran into an actual player there for the first time last night, every other time I had the map to myself.

I always wondered about guys that play at chicks, then somebody said it’s because of the views, lol.

Just pugged a level 10 speed run and loot was a lot better than the 28 I just did, from chest I got Charged core (1g -27s) + Onyx Core (72s) + 3 rares and 1 rare from mystic forge (greens in), a little bit of luck with salvaging I got 7 globs of ectoplasm worth 2g – 35s. Other mats probably worth about 50s.

So that lower run which took about 1 hour earned me equivalent to 4g+, and chest loot was better too, others had exotics in the group as well.

Try running a lower level pug see what you get??

I’ve noticed that as well…maybe an enticement to get more folks into doing runs?

Last 3 times I attempted to battle it, it would roll out of the zone, and reset it’s health. Frustrating.

I can’t believe that people are complaining about salvages…

Every other monthly has something you do along the way while playing, last month it was like fractals (done just through playing) wvw kills (done just through playing) something else and events (done just through playing). Now if I want to get this done I have to buy 500 whites and spend 30 minutes salvaging them. So much fun!

Luckily I don’t really care about anything in the laurel vendor enough to do anything about it.

You don’t have to buy anything, break down the drops you get from playing events and trash loot. I killed mine (salvage) yesterday, didn’t buy anything to salvage whatsoever.

It’s a catch 22 for me…on one hand, I dig the changes. A little variety in my daily, not the same thing all the time, I find it refreshing. And I seem to be killing my daily alot quicker than I had before the changes.

On the other hand, I am disheartened because with every update, they stray further from their original creed, about not being grindy, about being the anti-standard, doing away with mindless repetition. It all smacks of fetch quests for sure.

Kinda tired of the anti-warrior talk.
