This just hit me too. My guild has vanished. I also keep being set to invisible. I’m on Tarnished Coast, btw.

i went through the 6 pages, and it was interesting to see everybody adding their own personal touch on their mesmers, i like the fact that people from the same class can look so different.
I want to post my mesmer too, but i don,t really know how to post a screen shot or even how to remove the skills icon, character’name… from the screenshot

To turn off the UI, press ctrl-shft-h. To post the screenshot, go to the full editor for making a post and there will be a place to browse for the file to upload.

the ability to have notification of guild members logging in, IN guild chat, NOT in system chat, as they log in, would be an excellent resource. my fiancee, our gm, ended up putting every single guildie on his friends list, then turning system chat ON on his main tab, just so he could effectively greet people as they log in. guild leaders, in my experience, LIKE being able to greet people, say hi, and just generally have an idea of who’s on without having to constantly check the guild roster.

There is a light tone when you receive/send a pm, but it’s easy to miss. Making it more noticeable would help a lot. I’ve missed some too because of that.

(forgive me if this has already been suggested, but I looked and didn’t find anything)

It would be a lot easier to find gear on the trading post if we were able to filter it down to armor type (ie: light, medium, heavy) along with location (ie: shoulders, coat, etc) instead of having to search through pages of gear you can’t use for the character that you’re shopping for.

Myself and a couple guildies were wondering the same thing. I think this would be useful to add in, if possible.

Cool idea. I hope it takes off. I’ve sent in an email too.

Signed. This was such a nice feature in GW1. Please add it to GW2

ArenaNet has done a lot for us RPer’s so far, but I would love to see those things mentioned also included, especially more animated emotes and the ability to actually sit properly on chairs and benches.

Guild Halls are one of the biggest things I miss also. A central, private meeting place for guilds to get together made it much easier for guild members to bond with each other and also to be able to do things just for themselves without “party crashers” or “griefers” coming to interrupt.

I agree with everyone except the Guild Tax, only because my guild is not WvW focused. I miss having the “last logged in” time from GW1. That was very helpful for finding people who had gone inactive for weeks or months. Having some kind of notification when a member logs in or out, would be amazing too. I played a different game previously that had that feature and it was very nice.

Pretty please with sugar and cherries on top add this in. For the same reasons mentioned above in the previous posts. Like taking screenshots, making machinima videos is also difficult when you want to record just the landscape for a scene and be able to move the camera around without having your character jump up into the shot suddenly.

I was thinking the same thing. I used to have a weekly lottery in my guild in GW1 and we’d use the /roll emote to find the winner. It was a lot of fun and I’d love to be able to have that again here in GW2.

The Gryphons Aerie is a small, but growing, laid-back PvE/RP guild on Tarnished Coast. However, RP is purely optional and we have a few people who enjoy a bit of casual WvW. We’re very LGBT friendly and have a couple members from the community within our ranks as part of the leadership. We enjoy helping each other and doing things together when possible. All you have to do is ask if you need help with something and we’ll do our best to come to your aid.
