I run something similar with my guild each week. We have a lot of fun with it. Members can contribute as much as they want to the prize, with a minimum entry of 10s. We also put in one extra number for a chance that the prize will carry over to the next week, where a new round of contributions get added.

Agreed. This would be very handy to have, especially if you run a lot of dungeons during the day with your guild or friends and use several different characters.

To add to this, how about also something to show what Personal Level a character is at for Fractals of the Mists so we don’t have to guess or go to the door just to check?

Add my vote for Tarnished Coast too. We might be a little quiet around your playtimes, but you should still be able to find some great people to explore with.

I’ve been on Tarnished Coast since beta and I find the community to be very friendly. It’s also one of the unofficial RP servers, although there are plenty of non-RPers who make TOast their home. One thing I have noticed is that in general, RP servers tend to have friendlier and more mature people. I don’t pug very often (most runs I do with my guild), but on the rare occasions that I have, the groups have been good and relatively patient with repeated wipes.

Unfortunately, if you’re currently on a EU server, you cannot guest to a NA server. Everything else that was already said is true. I have been on TC since beta as well, but pvp is not a big thing for me personally so I’m not as concerned with how well we do in WvW.

I, too, would love to see all those ideas implemented. I would also like some kind of confirmation when kicking a member. Several times, myself or an officer, has tried to remove someone from party and has kicked them from the guild instead. The option sits too close to the others.

These are all fantastic ideas. Many of them are things I’ve wished for as well.

The personal level refers to the level of rewards you are eligible to earn.

If you do under lvl 10, you will not get a Pristine Relic, even though your reward level is 10+. The levels are also bracketed in groups of 10. IE: 1-9 will only net Fractal relics, 10-19 will give Relics plus a Pristine Token and the chance for an ascended ring.,20-29 will give relics, pristine token, chance for infused ascended rings, lvl 26+ also has a chance to drop a weapon skin (if i recall correctly).

On the other hand, if your personal level is under 10 and you do a lvl 10 or higher, you will not get the pristine relic. However, you will still gain a personal level for completing it.

The Message of the Day and Last Online are two of my biggest issues as well. I would love to see the MotD be similar to the way it was in GW1. Anytime it got changed, or updated in any way, it would broadcast across the guild chat channel. It also popped up on login. My members often miss the changes I make because they aren’t staring at the guild window all the time (nor would I expect them to, that’s just silly).

Having an announcement when a member logs in would be nice too. Unless you have the entire guild on your friend list, you don’t get a notification when a member logs on or off. Sometimes people forget to say ‘bye’ when logging out. It would be nice to know that they’re gone instead of trying to say something to them, only to find out you’re talking to yourself.

The guild missions are a cool idea, however, some of them are way too hard for us smaller groups. We have a hard time doing the bounty training, because those bosses are so tough even with 15 people beating on it. The guild trek mission is fun, but needs to be more rewarding. The added influence bonus is nice, but still seems weak, as does the merit reward for completing it.

I would like to see some additional Fractal maps too. The Molten Forge would be pretty awesome as an addition to the map collection.

During beta, the option to sort by armor weight was there. I’m not sure why it got removed, but I too, would love to see it put back in. It can get tedious trying to sort through a ton of pieces you can’t use just to find the ones you can.

1.) Yes.
2.) Depends on what you want from a guild. If you’re looking for something very close-knit with only a select few, then yes. The influence gain will be much slower than a larger guild, but it’ll make it worth that much more when you do get enough for unlocks.
3.)Same as answer #2. Having a very close-knit team for running around WvsW or sPvP can be an advantage over the ones that have just been thrown together.

The enchanted stuffing and glue were not account bound. You might still be able to find some on the TP if you still already have the frame and cogs (which are account bound).

It may also depend on your system specs. I play with “best appearance” settings and I get fantastic screens without using the -bmp command. My resolution is 1920×1080 which may or may not also have something to do with it.

At personal level 10+ you start to get Pristine Tokens which can be turned in for Ascended Rings.

The number of tokens varies depending on the level you’re doing, however, you can earn the daily reward once per character per day.

The time to do a Fractal run also varies depending on the level you’re running, but also which maps you end up getting, and the group you have. There are 7 maps plus a bonus one that shows up on the even numbered levels. The difficulty increases as you attempt higher levels.

Myself and many guildies are having the same issue. Can’t log in and get kicked when changing zones on Tarnished Coast.

I have dual monitors and run GW2 in “windowed fullscreen” mode via the game graphic options. Works like a charm for me running Windows 7. You may have to hit alt-tab once and then click the GW2 icon on your task bar to make sure it’s working properly. It could just be my strange luck that it acts up on rare occasions.
