It would be interesting if killing a Commander gave an Aoe demoralization debuff for a short period of time. Nothing too groundbreaking, since then the harassment would get out of control probably, but as the OP stated: it would be a nice idea to make a Commander kill noticeable for the opposing zerg.
N
This.
While my suggestions may seem harsh, there should be some strategical value for going out of your way to assassinate a commander. It adds an element of strategy to be able to affect a large force by taking out the commander. Not only that, but it could offer something to smaller groups who can’t contend with a huge zerg but have the option to catch the commander off-guard and assassinate him.
If there is a benefit to killing a commander then there should be a personal benefit to being one like champion level skills and abilities.
It looks like all the real guilds from SOS are moving to SOR, I can’t wait to watch them beat BG down and send them back to T2, and all the bandwagon SOS guilds to another server. It’s already started with FOE and AGG being to afraid of Tsym and the rest and jumping ship. Who is going to be next!?!
Well the real question here is can they thump JQ the way BG did in a short time with much less coverage.
BG would probably be happy to go back to T2 actually, I doubt TC and Kain use box event exploits and neither are each others lapdogs for weeks on end. T1 has become a big skill lag filled zergosity, I would think BG still likes smaller 10 – 20 man fights map wide, at least they used to. BG also lost it’s top commander to real life and the amount of quality fights have diminished greatly. T2 would be a welcome change, BG accomplished what it came for
.
You’re too funny I told you JQ would be on cruise control through this match up you saw last week what happens when we mash on the gas now that was a thumping the shenanigens bg pulled 2 weeks ago only managed 2 things 1) kitten off JQ,2) an asterisked win for bg that ultimately resulted in all the bandwagon sos to transfer again.
Hope you enjoyed your latest venture in to t1 as it probably be your last for a long long time but then again I hear bg prefers to rp in t2 anyway.
Theres another way to fix it but ANET will not do whats needed no company likes to admit their product just isn’t as popular as they’d hope for closing stores in this case servers just begs for negative press but lets face it why even have servers competing in something they obviously cant compete in tiers 6,7,8 should just be closed down.
Math we dont need no stinking math.
They didn’t fix the major issue they passed the buck on culling a fix would be a total redesign on their gw2 engine from the ground up not a redesign on the antiquated gw1 engine. What they did with culling is the same thing they did with orbs they just removed it and kittenly I might add by only giving the client some laymanish presets lowest/low lol how pathetic is that.
What they did was expose just how bad their engine is now that culling on their end is gone the real issue will be as I have said all along skill lag and how it will eventually destroy wvw.
Just like how crafting is buying regular exp, buying upgrades should reward wxp. The more expensive the upgrade, the more wxp is rewarded.
Building siege rewards regular exp, why should it not reward wxp too?
There’s no need to “break up the zerg” or nerf this and nerf that. Just make it so there is at least some incentive to pouring money and time into the non-glamorous, tedious, difficult task of building up defense in keeps and towers. I’ve never had a problem with zergs. I always liked running in huge zergs for a little while, then stopping and focusing on defense. I’ve always liked the defensive aspect of the game, but now zerging is the ONLY way to get wxp. To not zerg is now not only rewardless, but it is detrimental to your character.
Rewarding wxp for upgrades and building siege seems like the simplest, most logical, common sense way to balance things out. If you think about it, it makes no sense that it’s not this way already.
You don’t play wv3 much do ya? I never zerg and I’m almost rank 10. There are tons of things to do that earn wxp outside the blob hiding in towers and keeps should not reward you and I wont even mention the wxp exploitation that would come with building siege since its already been covered.
So NO!
Have I missed any pure content update? Sort of like October, December and Jan’s updates – have I missed any content like that? I’m not really interested in dungeons or guild activities, or even things you can’t do on your own, so has there been any content or has there been any content planned similar to mentioned?
Sorry if wrong area!
Nope just a bunch of fluff.
And we wonder why society is so fubar these days.
Number #1 on my wish list for WVW would be a Darkness Falls (DAOC)-like dungeon in WVW, accessed from the regular game world, which has entrances on all 3 WVW servers but only 1 server is allowed access to it at a time. Access can be obtained by WVW objectives only, eg: whichever server holds the most of (SM + borderkeep garrisons). When ownership changes hands, it becomes a hotbed of PVP as the new owners clean out the old.
The important thing is to populate it with high-end PVE content/rewards, and keep it PVP-enabled so there is risk.
The Darkness Falls expansion is what killed DAoC.
Hey there Wuvers,
It’s my pleasure to introduce to you Devon Carver, the new coordinator of the WvW team. Devon is an excellent designer and is passionate about WvW so I know that both the team and WvW are in good hands. As I step away to focus on other projects you’ll be seeing more of Devon here in the WvW forums so please give him a warm WvW welcome!
I’ll see you on the battlefield!
:habib
Good riddance you failed!
Here is my suggestion for fixing WvW.
First and Foremost. My thanks go to Arenanet for fixing the culling issue. I am into networking, OS Design, Game Programming and Music. It is not an easy thing to accomplish and its quite expensive, specially rewriting the code.
My worries deal with the long term system itself of WvW, along with players who have multiple characters.
Certain questions are raised with an example being
“What will happen when new players play GW2 a year from now and they enter WvW to find they have to compete with players who have a System-Advantage over them from earned abilities. Those who spent 2000 – 4000 hours to cap all the first tier abilities and how about 2000 – 3000 more hours capping second tier abilities?”
The answer is a complete disadvantage, so below is my suggestion:
You know how each character class has a trait system? Where we have 70 points?
Why don’t we have a 70 – 80 point WvW trait system as well? One independent from Character Classes?
The way it works is that we enter World vs World and we customize a character outright for WvW performance.
The trait lines name examples can be:
Offensive, Defensive, Economy, Logistics, Command, Siege (This can also be in offensive or defensive traits too), but you get the idea.
So basically, We enter WvW and we have:
Character Class Traits (What we have now)AND
WvW Trait line (Abilities functioning in WvW)
The reason I came up with this is because each character class has 75 trait skills (12 * 5 and 3 * 5 as the minor traits)
This would be really cool because it would allow for each player, regardless their experience base to actually customize any character for WvW and combine with character trait skills.
It would make this WvW more interesting, more independent and unique. It will prevent the problem of players getting systematic advantages over new players in the long term as I would hate to see how new players five years from now will get into WvW with players having 10000 hours worth of playtime or more and many tiers capped….on one or multiple characters…
I would love to enter WvW and tell my team
“Ok, since we are countering larger groups, I will take Defense 30, Command 10, Siege 20 and Economy 10….
…and then later say "Oh the situation has changed, I’ll take “Offense 30, Command 30, Economy 10”
Rather than say “Oh! yeah…I can bring a necro to do condition damage, but I can’t because my elementalist has 200 points and I want to get 100 more for Supply +5”
This trait system might be cool for small groups and zergs to be on more equal footing with one another, because what the current system is doing is hurting small groups because small groups go and capture camps, survive for a long time and then the 40 – 50 man zergs out there in a sea of red hunt those groups down because they will get more WXP from killing 7 – 8 players than killing 5 zergs.
It just feels like small groups are like cattle in a farm that everyone allows to live to fatten them up, so that then they could be scooped up by large zergs.
I just feel that if I have to spend 4000+ hours capping stuff that I will have to leave to another game because as the current system stands, there is more grind than any other game I have played and the developers speak of more abilities in the future.
This hurts the new guilds too…
Imagine I make a 20 man guild in the future and run together for 200 supply. A 20 man guild with a +5 supply buff and +5 camp buff is going to carry 400 supply, which is something I can’t compete with unless each member gets 300 points. It no longer becomes about competitive skill as much as the combined WvW skills attained vs players who do not have the same skill (or any skills)….
Well. I am sorry for the long, drawn out post….but Its just my feelings to this system. I thought about the trait lines because it could be really cool and finally allow players to freely play alts and not have to worry about throwing their lives away (Yes, 4000 hours is a VERY LONG TIME in teenage to young adult years…very important time to learn and grow. It is more time than one spends in classroom time obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree)
You know it took the better part of 5 years to develop and test the trait system we have now for all the professions and races we have now since you’re in “game programming” care to take a questimate on how much more time it would take to develope these wvwvw traits? Years!
Static field is much better than teleport earthquake…I have literally cut a whole zerg in half with just one static field from one ele.
3 people do not make a zerg.
New tactic popping up as of late. 4-5+ dagger/dagger eles using the dagger 5 earth skills (earthquake) then teleporting into the enemy zerg with the air cantrip.
Teleporting does not interrupt the charge. The result is 5x earthquakes instantly going off inside the enemy team at the same time, killing 30+ people instantaneously.
Seeing this more and more, its near impossible to counter and the range is massive. Anyone having any luck against these teams?
Exaggerate much?
Ok, so after all that whining about ascended gear being gear treadmill we didn’t get that actually. What’s wrong with it?
When I’m playing other MMO’s I’m constantly getting new rewards. Like a more powerful sword each time I defeat a huge boss – and that makes me feel rewarded because with that sword I can defeat even more powerful enemy! In Gw2 I never get anything interesting. Almost everything I find is just a small part of the reword I really care about.
And if you think that the only rewords that should be ever introduced are aesthetics then I have a news for you! That’s not working either! When the new Guild Missions skins arrived few days ago almost no one I know got excited about them! Most of the reactions I’ve seen are more or less: “I don’t care because they are dull”. So as far as I know everyone will just buy their ascended accessory and then pile up their commendations. So it seems that new skins aren’t rewording for everyone but those who like the look of them! What’s good about this system???!!!
PS just to show how I see reword systems in Gw2 and in other games:
Typical MMO: Gear Grind -> Raid 1(challenge) -> Gear Grind -> Raid 2(challenge) -> Gear Grind -> Raid 3(challenge)
Gw2 –
Fotm level 1-10 -> Gear Griiiiiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnnnnnnnd -> Fotm level 10-20 -> Gear Griiiiiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnnnnnnnd -> Fotm level 20-30 (half bad)
Or
Aesthetics Griiiiiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnnnnnnnd -> NOTHING (B.A.D all the way)EDIT NOTE:
Everyone here is trying to tell me how bad the Gear Treadmills are but no one is showing me any constructive example of a worthwhile reword system.
I’m not saying that GT are the tip of the mountain called fun!
I’m just saying that rewords of the Gw2 Grind system are disappointing and boring!I’ve played 6 months this game and I NEVER felt rewarded for anything that I did!
Going for legendary is a VERY LONG trip without any fun stops! And I’m on it for 5 of 6 months playing. Is it fun for any of you?!
I’m trying really hard for differentiate between your meanings of treadmill and endless grind both are exactly the same because in the end you end up with nothing. Character progression does not… no can not involve nor include extrinsic value i,e personal processions hence the reasoning behind ANET’s intrinsic philosophy mostly associated with the pre-release manifesto of “we don’t make grindy games” .
Those other games you and others quoted required you to progress albeit temporarily with new gear GW2 does not well not so far anyway.
Mike Ferguson: It’s a tough problem because it’s very based on your population. We actually want the movement to go the other way, instead of everyone crowding onto the bigger servers, we want people to be going out to the smaller servers, so we’re looking at a couple of different things – but nothing I can really talk about right now, unfortunately.
Here’s your fix Mike. Do not allow transfers to t1-4, limit character moves to once every 6 months, cap server transfers to x-players per week. easy fix

Does anyone on JQ play for the fights? Or just to win? Serious question.
Sure you can find me where the buffalo…err Dolyaks roam on all the borderlands because iHeart Dolyaks.
Darkness Falls was the nail in the coffin for DAoC .
Thanks for garrison JQ! Must be frustrating to have to redo waypoint in garrison so many times with the amount of coverage you guys have.
Last week shows that SOR will probably continue to do well during NA hours, and it’s due to BG and JQ focusing on each other rather than on SOR.
BG:
If there is a JQ tower and SOR tower, BG will most likely attack the JQ tower.JQ:
If there is a BG tower and SOR tower, JQ will most likely attack the BG tower. Most of the time, SOR doesn’t get focused on by 2 servers, so they get to roam and choose who they want to attack. At least that’s how I saw it especially on the borderland I was on. JQ attacks BG tower, SOR gets a free BG keep. BG attacks JQ tower, SOR takes JQ keep.
Both BQ and JQ know who the real threat is. For whatever reason though SOR loves to ride on JQ coattails and give them a huge lead over the weekend. Works out great for JQ though to have SOR dancing to there tune.
Yeah we on JQ know who the real threat is and that’s complacency.
you don’t know that is a “spy” doing that.
i’m wondering if a great deal of people here are unaware what the word “spy” even means.
I think people are confusing spy with saboteur what we had on JQ last week was not a spy but a saboteur. Spies generally do not engage in overt sabotage preferring to stay unnoticed cloak and dagger etcetc.

“I really don’t have culling issues with my new iMac, even on high settings large fights are much better but then again I like staying in smaller groups like 15-20 on our side”It is common knowledge that culling issues are on the server side and not on the client side. It is already announced to be fixed in the new patch.
I always go by if you tell the truth you don’t have to remember anything.False, culling is also client issue while skill lag is a server issue. About 7 or 8 posts down in the thread below, an Anet developer says the exact opposite of what you’re saying. I guess if you lie or post something false enough times, people will believe it.
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/pvp/wuvwuv/Decrease-lag/first#post1665152
Do you even know what culling is? If its client side why are they disabling in their game engine you know ON THEIR FREAKING SERVER!
In order to cut down on the network resources that were used by the game and to reduce the client-side system requirements, we implemented a culling system, which imposed a limit on the number of characters that could ever be reported to your client. This meant that only the characters closest to you would actually get reported.
Cant get any clearer than that.
I’m sorry but can someone explain to me again:
What’s the difference between server vs server and battleground if not for the size of the zerg?
In spvp you capture objectives, hold it for as long as you can til reinforcement arrives
In wpvp you capture keeps and towers, hold it for as long as you can til reinforcement arrives
The only difference is the size of the zerg.
So really, when you signed up for wpvp, you’re actually getting what you signed up for – a zerg fest where people zerg left and right and whoever has the bigger zerg pretty much wins. (unless they’re terrabad.)
Discouraging zerg would be like discouraging the entire point of wpvp, and I really don’t think Anet is and should be going down that path.
They’re doing it now. The game is approaching 1 year old fast and really what have we got out of it a dead zone, a dead dungeon with a dead mechanic a bunch of seasonal fluff and finally after nearly 8 months a quick fix to plug a finger in the hole thats draining its player base the (imo) overly hyped “turning off culling” that if it backfires will surely spell doom for a huge portion of their player base.
Epic HB dance video
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2qPhONQclME&feature=youtu.be
Nice choreography!
ANET doesn’t give a rats kitten about their game hence the reason why Orr has been broken for the last week making what the winters day ecto fiasco did to the economy pale in comparison why should they care about bots/griefers in wvwvw maxing out map siege with flame rams in keep destroying any sense of competition with no way to combat this type of behavior.
This game is dead to me the only thing I’m holding out for is the next one maybe even considering going back to an old one atleast they have GM’s that can monitor this kind of crap.
No it’s not against the rules.
BS this is griefing when said player is building siege to cap so you cant build anything. This is griefing and is a bannable offense ANET needs to address this pronto.
BG & JQ are excellent at running up the score fighting early morning phantoms, not so much during the competitive hours.
When are the competitive hours? Let me guess whenever you’re on?
I’ve said this in other posts: Moving to 8 hour matches with population medians being the primary way to rank servers in tiers would be a much better system than the current one. This solves long term mismatches, creates more variation in the match ups and works inside the current 3v3 tiered system. Worst case a server is dominated for 8 hours rather than 7 days.
8 hour matches would be worse for glicko ratings than 7 day matches. You’d basically have three different server profiles feeding the ratings instead of building a composite rating covering all time zones. The numbers would literally be all over the place.
Ok what 8 hour timezone would you suggest this be in and what 8 hour window would you suggest? yeah thats what I thought its 24/7 deal with it!
It was not nerfed. If you had searched the forums you would that there have already been dev responses to this and this is a repeated thread.
Yeah we had 20k+ posts in the drop nerf thread with dozens of posts from the dev’s stating nothing had been changed in the Nov15th patch that effected drops then poof one day they redacted their comments and said yep hehe somthing did break drop rates.
If ecto drop rates are nerfed then we’d have empirical evidence for it.
Speaking of empirical evidence, it goes contrary to your claim OP:
http://www.gw2spidy.com/item/19721
Thats not empirical evidence we have no idea of when those ecto’s were salvaged they could be for all we know ectos that are just now surfacing from the 10’s of thousands of ectos that were made during the wintersday recipe salvage scandal.
(edited by Asglarek.8976)
I have never, ever, not gotten at least 1 ecto from an exotic rare salvage, and I haven’t used a BLK salvage kit on them yet. I save those to strip upgrades.
I’m a pretty casual player tho; the last time I got a rare to salvage was a couple weeks ago, the second to last time I played.
You are guaranteed an ecto from an exotic salvage of iirc ilvl76 or higher.
Remember ANET said there was no drop nerf in the Nov 15th patch only to back peddle 3 months latter.
Rome is burning…Rome is burning!
On JQ nowadays you have commanders that run from fights, hide in towers chastise people for engaging the enemy for fear of retaliation you have guilds passing out commander manuals to their officers that have business leading dynamic events muchless against real people then throw in those commanders thatthink buying gems thru gemstore and convertingto gold makes you a leader of men well thats the mess jq finds itself in.
Wow even after all the transfers into BG , JQ is still winning. It must have alot of dedicated WvWers , or just too much players lol.
JQ was a solid T1 wv3 server since launch these other servers weren’t they are like average athletes that use steroids (transfers) to enhance their game play competitiveness but strip away the facade and all you have is a T5 or whatever server.
BG is closing the point gap with JQ.
I think all we need is a few more big guilds in our relatively weaker timezones to be in position to take 1st place in overall points.
You do know how the elo glicko system works right? In lay terms that week 1 loss to jq means bg has to beat jq twice by double the points just to get back where they were in week1also theoretically jq could maintain rank1 by finishing a close 2nd for several weeks,
The image at the end of the post. Where is that from? I know for certain that isn’t in any of the BLs. I don’t play enough EB to know if that picture is located on that map. Am I reading into something that I shouldn’t be????
LOL my thoughts exactly it looks as though the image quality is turned down and at a res of 1024×768. Not only that look at the armor those people in screenie are wearing, no weapon auras either and noticed how they are spaced apart in a semi circle.
Something definately smells rotten in Denmark.
The only two words that matter in that dev post is the first 2 in the last sentence.
I wanna see how they tested this under what condition and the type of hardware it was tested with until then my only response is…We’ll see.
I read that piece and it actually said that culling would be “player controled” iirc. That means its just a slider or setting in the game now. High end systems can push the slider out and get less noticable culling or possibly eliminate it.
A LOT of people are still going to have culling issues, now though Anet can say its all their fault since they give you the control over it.
If this turns out to be true then I’m done with the game. How can ESOL have a mega server with so much more players and no culling reported? Sadly GW2 is not giving me a reason to stay…
I have yet to see ESOL mega server deal with culling of there own so lets see how that works out (i have a feeling its going to be there too btw).
ESOL developed a brand new 3d engine, ANET just tweeked the GW1 3d engine which was never designed to fill large amounts of polygons.
Learn what culling is and what it isn’t I believe alot here think of the word culling in some generic term like lag or fps.
There is no legitimate and reasonable argument against it.
“People will be elitist!!!”
People can be elitist right now. And so what? Don’t play with them. You’re decrying the attitude of people whom you are trying to play with, but you’ll still play with them because their very attitude demonstrates they’re competent, and therefore assure you a nice piggy back ride. And don’t say “no that isn’t it!”, if it isn’t then why are you playing with people you don’t like? Even for the most neglected of dungeons/areas you can easily cobble together a party with whatever specifications you wish. If you don’t like a group’s attitude don’t kittening play with them.
“I don’t like people knowing my gear!!!”
That’s as legitimate an argument as someone saying they don’t like people knowing their character, so you shouldn’t allow people to see other person’s characters. It doesn’t affect you in any way. You’re creating a problem that doesn’t exist. Deal with it.
“I don’t like it!”
Don’t use it.
Feel free to point out your own arguments, but rest assured I’ll point out they’re equally flawed. Maybe there is a legitimate argument against gear/stat inspect, but I haven’t heard it yet. Every single argument I’ve ever read against it is ignorant and misguided at best, and utterly mentally defective most of the time.
Honestly, most of the people I see complaining seem to be the kind of players that know they’re bad, and are afraid that if other people learn that, they’ll be unable to piggy back off of competent players anymore. Truly my heart bleeds for you.
The same logic holds true for those advocating it wouldn’t you agree?
…you know how Anet loves RNG, right. So, here’s the perfect solution:
Make the timers completely random. Now I know what you’re going to say, but, I am fairly certain that doing this – will make Guesting for events a thing of the past! Kill the exploit!
All the big guilds, the one’s Anet is focussing on, can have someone posted at all the metas to keep track of spawns. So, when a boss pops, the lookout can quickly call it in Guild Chat and the big guilds can, if they are discrete enough, have the boss all to themselves! This worked quite well in other games like Aion and I think it is a direction Anet wants to go towards, anyway, looking at the last changes.
No don’t make the timers completely random the opposite needs to happen they all need to be synchronized across all timezones.
Make it account wide 1 chest event per day problem solved. And yes there is a loophole to getting multiple chest per character per day its been reported but still has not yet been hotfixed.
Yeah lets make it more of a WOW clone with every patch gg ANET.
The guesting system is being exploited ANET needs to investigate this and they will find who and how.
this reply has been copied and pasted from my response in another thread:
It is easy to blame guesting…. but in all reality, that is not the likely culprit. With the new loot tables on world chests, there is an obvious increase in players completing these events.
Have you never gotten an overflow in LA?
Do you also blame this on people guesting from other servers to chill out in your LA home server? If you have enough people just hanging out in LA to create an overflow, who is to say you wont have enough people doing all of your home server’s events as their respective timers pop?
Also,
There are so many world events going on on any server, that rarely will you have enough time to finish one before needing to map to another.Swapping servers to do the same event over and over again would, at most allow you to do the event twice more (per toon), and it would just be easier to do all of your home server’s events.
Also, don’t you think that holds true for all servers? So if there was another event somewhere on another server, and what you say is true…. there were people from your server going to that event as well, essentially relieving population from your home world event.
You keep copy/paste this reply yet you don’t even read the dev posts on their investigation in to a soon to be discovered exploit that involves the mist servers (spvp), wvwvw and guesting you are behind the curve bud.
Culling is absolutely a fixable problem, and as Habib mentioned in his MMORPG interview, we are planning to completely remove it from the game in march.
Why is it taking so long? Well, I think the best way I can describe how we’ve had to approach this problem is that it’s almost like changing a flat tire on a car that’s still moving. That’s a really rough analogy, but hopefully it helps illustrate just how difficult this would be in terms that are easier for everyone to understand.
Something like the way players render is extremely core to the engine and any change to that sort of thing could cause all kinds of other issues throughout the game. There are a lot of really complex technical problems that we needed to solve, then make sure that our changes don’t actually cause any of those odd side effects.
That being said, we’re confident that been able to solve those problems on the technical side. We still have a bit more testing to do, but we’re not expecting any major issues to pop up at this point, so we’re really looking forward to flipping that switch and getting rid of culling for good!
We’ll have a blog post coming up sometime in the next month to go into more details about the culling fixes and what you can expect.
Its why ANET should really consider using the BWE model in its live game to test new builds you will never be able to simulate live conditions in a closed enviroment.
I think everyone here should read this and learn exactly what culling is and know that by “turning it completely off” means and what it doesn’t mean. In short they could just allow more optimization by the client to fix things for the most part on a per user basis.
http://www.gamedev.net/page/resources/_/technical/graphics-programming-and-theory/geometry-culling-in-3d-engines-r1212
This turning it off measure is exactly what I knew they would do I believe I compared it to removing orbs from wv3.
I’m more interested in finding out whether those of us who have never transferred servers would be rewarded for never having bandwagoned.
I can see the recent (post gem fee) transfer getting the title " Aide-De-Gem-Camp" WV3 title but as for the rest of us…meh not so much.
You should have plenty of badges, that’s the difference between new players and veterans who will have the new stuff on Day 1.
The difference between wv3 vets and newbs is newbs save their boh’s and vets spend them on you know siege weapons, armor, weapons.
Starting at square one allows those players who are becoming interested in Fractals of the Mist to join without feeling behind.
This is good for Fractals overall. Get new players in and make them not feel behind. Something tells me if you have the Level 50 Fractals title, getting the new titles should be pretty easy
Fixed
This is exactly what I warned ANET about before questing went live. There is some shady questing going on and they need to sync every chest event to a world clock and lock chest events out once you complete an event for 72hours.
