Each time I remember Colin saying “Halloween 2012” is just the beginning of how amazing our future patches will be. I cringe and die a little inside.

Time matters. When I get the time to play GW2, I want to have fun. When I use that valuable time to work towards something – I want that value to remain. I don’t want Credit Card swiping people stealing away the time that I spent to get something away so easily. What is even the point of playing the game then? I might as just swipe my CC at each update, get the “hottest” looking gear, and log off.

Whatever you chose to do in life has an opportunity cost. Playing GW2 requires me to take time away from other stuff that I could have been doing. ArenaNet should VALUE that, and promote their game the same way to respect the time that we have spent in it.

I have no problem in paying them each month on stuff that they release on gem store – it just needs to have a healthy balance and must be respectful of the time that the players have spent in game.

I agree with the rest of your points as well. Except the Pay2Win part. Technically speaking you are not getting “stat” gains directly from the gem store. As you said, progression is cosmetic here – ANet was very clever with how they worded their criteria for acceptable items in cash shop, well played ANet, well played.

What about all the no ranger parties? Must be Warrior/Gaurdian/Mesmer only parties? The parties that you get a kick without a warning? Lol – call me whatever you want. But by the party restriction norms that are going on these days, I’m like at the bottom of the totem pole.

Also almost all of my game time in GW2 is spent in WvW…thank god for me eh? :P

I’m actually a very open person in regards to who I dungeon with – regardless of which class you are, regardless of what stat armor you wear. I just dislike the idea of people supporting ANet’s idea of reskinning cultural gear.

Once again, the problem is reskinning unique cultural gear – I don’t care if someone wears a foot-to-toe armored gear, or half-naked gear.

I think a lot of people with legendaries will just quit the game if this happens. As un-legendary legendaries are, going through all the pain and toil to craft one was still a rite of passage for me.

Cultural Armor is supposed to be UNIQUE to each race, why even have them in the first place if that is not the case?

The trend it seems is that most (if not all) armor sets are direct gem shop purchases. This game is supposed to have cosmetic horizontal progression yet all the cool stuff is on the gem store. How the hell are we supposed to “progress” then? We are being force fed with this Living Story crap too…and don’t start on “play for fun” with me, I WvW for fun, so there’s that.

Honestly the direction ArenaNet is going is bad. Really bad. With other AAA MMOs on the horizon like Wildstar and EverQuest Next, I wonder how GW2 will survive…

Let me say something that every other fan of Abbadon cannot/do not want to say.

The “epicness” that we all want from the Fall of Abaddon would have not been in par with our imagination. Our expectations, given the lore, is WAY too high, and I doubt ANet could perfectly deliver on that.

So I don’t mind that we have lesser, insignificant story as a fractal than ruin the epic story of Abaddon’s fall that we all know and love.

Just because there is tower with levels doesn’t mean it is equal to Tower of God or SAO, both of them have much better approach to “tower climbing” then this.

With the time spent on getting the achievements done…lol they better be rewarding, but then again, with the recent trends….

What week 7? The season schedule only shows 6 weeks of matchups…There won’t be another BG/SOR/JQ this season.

There are 7 rounds, hence 7 weeks. Check the season schedule again.

IIRC the last BG/SoR/JQ matchup before Season 1 began, JQ came first with a 15k PPT lead from SoR who was second. But of course you guys weren’t even trying that hard right?

Lol when 3 T1 server are stacked together, there is always the 2v1 element going on..we all know that. So when BG and SoR collectively wants us in third, you are not truly seeing our position. So yes, silly you.

But I do agree that having SoS or Maguuma would have been better.

Try having a several lv80s fully decked out with 2-3 exotic sets per character (runes included) and ascended trinkets, then ask yourself whether you want more levels.
