The ragequit might be bad or unfair for the winner but it’s worse for the quitter, they lose their place in queue and they appear dead in their own world, meaning they must pay to get to a waypoint.
Just saying…
They should be stronger when a server is outnumbered…
But in general, players should be the ones actually guarding the points.
I seriously doubt those dyes sold with gems are actually a good selling material, I mean undiscovered dyes aren’t that expensive in the TP and if you want one of a specific color you can just buy it there too.
I don’t really know in game but in the forums at least I have the really strong impression that there is an automatic system that deletes posts, probably based on reports and in some sort of scanning for potencially offensive or worthless content.
I say this because I’ve had my posts deleted like 3 or 4 times, and all of those were deleted way too fast (I really can’t believe moderators could be so efficient) and a PM was sent to me claiming that it was an automated measure and that if I would like to appeal I could send my complaints to a certain email. Thing I did once, like 2 weeks ago, and didn’t even get an answer.
The ONLY thing I have against the wvw and world completion is that they make you explore 3 maps that are the exact same thing, 1 should be enough, or make them different.
But if it should be included? idk… But the thing is that they are and if you want to do the achievement then do it the way it is and if you don’t want to do it this way, then just don’t. Nobody is forcing you to do it, just as nobody is forcing you to do anything else in the game, you are not required to have the world completion to access any content at all.
Besides, exploration has never been defined as a purely pve thing…
There is also a bug report section in the forum, there you can put all the screenshots you want and double check ingame without losing your text.
I’ve also read from devs that at least some of them prefer this system than the one ingame.

Correct, because that is called, character progression.
Looking cool is just fluff and if you think this game will survive on that model with todays gaming genre, I think you have seriously overestimated a 10+ year old platform.
I’m sorry but for me seeing bigger numbers aims to the same type of “satisfaction” that better looking gear does and it gets obtained the same way. Your character has something now that it didn’t had before, if it makes you hit harder or look better, it’s the same thing, if you want something better you’ll have to do some sort of hard/grindy thing.
Besides, if I hit more, then monsters will be stronger so really it doesn’t make any difference, and even if you wanted to do the current content easier it just wouldn’t happen because they would probably scale you down leaving you as powerful as you’re now.
Thieves should steal money or items, you know….like actual thieves.
I know it might be unfair or OP but then, why give the class that name if they are never going to steal anything of value…
Myabe there isn’t a reset option because you’ll eventually get them all, so if you make some mistake you can always fix it after a while.
Besides, at level 80 you’ll get a lot of skill points in case you missed some skill while leveling you’ll get it then.
It’s not so hard to get people to help you down a champion, specially when there’s something like a sp involved, given much of the people are going for map completion…
And even if you just don’t want to get some group, you can always check back later…most champions don’t respawn too fast after killed, and it’s very likely someone is going to kill it during the day.
I like to stalk people so I say yes to this!!!
Fine, I and everyone in my guild help each other and in a month from now we all have 1 of each class , fully equiped in exotics, lvl 80 chars…now what?
Besides, not everyone is going for a legendary, I for once I’m not, for the moment at least. And I know a few other people like me too.
Btw, my knowledge in lore of this game is very limited, but I’m almost sure the name “guild wars” comes from a certain war called like that, that happened like 100 years before the date in game we are currently playing. And not from actual player guilds at war…
Also, somebody who disagrees with you isn’t insulting you, the same way you have your opinion about something, others have it too and this may or may not be the same. Just because someone thinks differently doesn’t mean he has something against you as a person…
And as a last thing, if you want to post something directed exclusively at devs and don’t wish anybody else to have an opinion or even read it, a public forum might not be the best place to put it…

Whatever the timezone they pick someone would always get left out.
Besides it’s not so hard to google CET or whatever and find out what time it is, it took me less than 30 seconds to find out it’s 23.40 CET by the time I’m typing this…
There is a search bar in case you wonder if something has already been posted, that’s one of its uses…

Well as for me I never rez people who seem naked…I just assume they’re afk and have been rezzed way too many times already xD
But like it was said before it would take away some realism, if you go unconscious and then you get waked up you can’t really choose to remain unconscious for a while longer…
Also it wouldn’t be fair for the other guy who’s possibly risking his own neck to rez you fast so you can get back to fighting and you just stay there waiting for a “better” moment to come back to life…
Well a lot of people here will say that some more automatic partying system doesn’t allow player socialization or communication….
Not sure how much socialization does spamming “Lfm X Dungeon, Y mode” provides though…

Had to check them one by one but still it’s better than just randomly running the maps… hope it helps!!
PS: As a tip, you know every area discovered has its name in white letters in the map right? so just compare how many there are and how many you have on your map, it can help you identify in which map you’re missing something.

Why does the only character advancement people can conceive is seeing bigger numbers on their screen I just don’t get it…
And furthermore, why do those big numbers MUST be achieved doing large group stuff
As long as you don’t start putting vendors, banks and other stuff to get people away from the cities, it would be great…
Maybe some of these have already been suggested but still this are my thoughts.
- A wardrobe to keep your armor skins.
- A small vault (maybe the size of 1 bank tab would be ok).
- Something to change your hair also could be fine, like a mirror.
- A little garden or orchard where to grow a couple of plants.
- A trophy room, some trophys could be placed by the player, others earned immediatly on achievement.
- A way to rest when you’re offline, maybe a buff, not a big thing, maybe some magic find like 5% or so for a couple of hours or something not even combat related…
- The choice of having one big house for all your characters or smaller individual ones, or the possibility to expand it to house more chars.
- A basement, to keep kidnapped npcs xD
Achievement score it’s the game score, and it shouldn’t be used for anything else than to keep track of how well you’re doing and/or compare to others…IMO
Nothing in this game makes sense being soulbound over accountbound, so yes. they should be account wide…IMO
I believe it’s part of the difficulty of the puzzle, besides as you find campers you’ll probably find someone to help you, maybe even some good guy mesmer with a portal…
Don’t be lazy, you almost get exp for breathing in this game…
I played this game so hated around here for a couple of years and never found a 10+ dungeon people more fun than a 5 one, never knew why people liked it so much…
I never had a pve dedicated guild so it was annoying as hell gather the group and if it took too long people started to leave and then after 2 hours just of putting the group together you’d just settle with anyone who would be willing to come along so finally you could enter the dungeon, just to wipe at the first boss because the group sucked. Of course then a couple more would leave and then it’s another hour to replace them. Now if you were lucky the group would suck less but there would be some random wipe who knows why, but eventually you’d get it done, after spending from 3 to 5 hours to complete the kitten thing. so in total you invested 7-9 hours of your life in doing something where the fights were as fun as doing a 45 minute 5-man dungeon.
If you want massive things ask for better events, better loot if you like, some sort of wvw twist maybe, but I will ever be against raid dungeons for what I said above…
I do not agree this “if you don’t like the game then leave” thing, but then you should realize this game took a little step in getting away from the mmo mainstream, it wouldn’t make sense to ask for them to start taking that step back…
No offense I don’t really want to see a bunch of people running around wearing sun-glasses.

Each character should have their own unexpandable bank and access to an account wide expandable one.
Doubt you’lle ever read this given the number of posts here but still, I’ll say it.
One thing that really got me from your post was that you’re complaining that there are people in your guild who don’t even know who you are, yet after you say there is no way you can know who have you already messaged about representing. So everybody must know you, but you don’t even care to try to remember or keep a record of who you’ve messaged already? Big ego you have there…
Second thing if your guild is not appealing or entertaining for someone, that is not their fault, it’s the whole guilds fault, but not even that is a bad thing, myself for instance went through a lot of guilds until I could find one in which I feel I belong, each one had their good and bad things but maybe the good were ok for some, but not for me. Even if you share similar playstyles with other people that doesn’t mean you’ll get along, and if you don’t this system allows you to compare between different possibilities. Is that really a bad thing??
What I believe you’d want is to force everybody to stay and represent your guild after they’ve joined…thats the main message I get from your post. But do you really want people who don’t even want to be there and prefer to be somewhere else? If someone says that they don’t give a kitten about you kicking them, why even bother trying to keep him, maybe your guild wasn’t the place for him, just let him go…
It would be boring as hell to level an alt then, if a lot or everything was already done…imo.
Reasons why this is a bad idea:
- Many people already complain about this game having very little late game goals, this would reduce even more the amount of such goals.
- If they have the same stats as exotics it doesn’t hurt anybody that they exist or not, not beyond the point of pure envy that is.
Then they wouldn’t be seasonal…
Sounds good, but I would prefer to have something of my own… likr a house, or even a camp…
I mean I love my guild but I would rather have something that feels totally mine instead of a collective thing. Where everything it has came from my own effort.
If they could do both, that would be great though…at least for me.

But staying on topic, since you mentioned repair costs I imagine you are talking about wvw.
In which case I find it really stupid to logout just to avoid a death, I mean you lose your place in queue… unless there is no queue at the moment I can’t see how this benefits the quitter.
Not to mention if they do it while already downed in which case by the time you return you’ll be dead and outside of wvw, so you’ll have to pay the waypoint cost in addition.

I agree, badges should be rewarded for capturing keeps and towers and stuff, I mean they seem to be the main goal of the whole thing…
Besides the way they’re rewarded seems very unfair to me, at least from my experience.
For example I’ll put 2 scenarios that I’ve seen the most when it comes to honor badges:
Scenario 1: I engage an enemy and do most of the damage to kill him and then some other ally comes and finishes him. If im lucky I’ll might get a loot bag, and if I’m lottery winner lucky I’ll get one honor badge.
Scenario 2: Somebody else kills an enemy and I did little to nothing but then come along and finish him, I’ll almost surely will get an loot bag and the chances that there is 1 or even 2 honor badges inside are pretty high.
Seriously I get a better reward for running towards a downed enemy and pressing F than by actually killing him?? C’mon.
I suggest this whole system to be changed into something like the DEs fights, where if you do X amount of contribution to the event you’ll get a bronze, silver or gold reward. The same thing could be applied to WvW, according to your contribution you should get 1, 2 or 3 badges from a kill or capturing a tower, keep or camp.
