There is this ancient legend that says SAB was modeled after retro games. But of course that’s a myth no one will believe.

Did they invite you to party or did you invite them?

I think the problem is they invited you and thus became the owners of the party.

It was once per day per character in the previous installment of SAB.

This installment of SAB is now once per day per account.

With 30th of September looming around the corner. SAB is soon going to part ways from us once again until the 3rd installment.

It has been a bumpy ride with mixed reactions. But in the end we still treasure our beloved SAB.

On another note. Has any one obtain a rare skin from the chests this time around?
I’ve run SAB almost every day up until a few days ago and ended up with zilch. I’ve pretty much given up running SAB now since that was the only thing tangible after obtaining all upgrades and the tribulation mode skins. Have almost 500 baubles bubbles with no idea what to do with them now compared to last time.

Please enlighten us what is bugged about it.

its called optional.
the heart would be still filled up.

but players could talk to them to activate some kind of daily quest or something. if they somehow pass by that area.

When it becomes a daily. It becomes less optional. Because there is some tangible reward usually attach to it like with the current dailies.

I got stuck in these a couple of times. Dodge is your friend.

Sea of Sorrows. It happens 24/7.

Because Guild Wars 2 was designed from the ground up with SAB in mind.

I’ve insta-died at checkpoints from nothing many times in normal mode. I suspect it’s due to tribulation bugging normal mode.

MF gear sucked. Those who wore it were leechers in dungeons. Thus it was made obsolete and changed for the better.

Also this. If people could sell them, then everyone who could care less about ascended would just sell them on the spot, making the mats way too cheap and would help to usher in the next tier a bit too fast. (I’d assume they’re need a next tier if everything was sellable right off the bat)

Considering the next tier above ascended can be bought out right from the TP as the finished product.

Due to technical issues. There can be no save points for the last time you entered SAB.

The only solution is to make levels shorter.

Also I wish SAB wasn’t best solo’d. It’s a lot more fun with a party. But every one is anti-social now days or doesn’t want to do SAB any more. Needs to be incentives for group play.

In all the times I’ve tried to dodge jump. I’ve only successfully pulled it off once with dismal results.

Ping is a factor since dodging locks up your character’s movements server side. There is a latency delay.

Therefore I hope dodge jumping is never accepted as the norm because it is not intended nor reliable.

A lot of the World 1 buried baubles are in the same locations as last time.

As for World 2. Good luck with that hah!

I see lots of QQ if Tribulation mode is an underwater 3d environment.

If I wanted to play platform games I’d go and join the peasants and buy an X-Box or PS3. How about something else other than SAB A-Net???

I just delete my continue coins to free up bank space (along with that princess tiara and wig rubbish). It hits my backpack and it’s drag and drop out of existence.

Would love an option in the game setup that said “ignore SAB and all SAB related items”.

But if the whole zone is underwater. How will we jump?

I run zerker on most of my characters, but I don’t care what other people run as. Whilst you’re wasting your time here and in game trying to find perfect matches with your “speed runs”. I would be already in a dungeon and just having fun playing the game with others.

I have guild for that I use that LFG tool out of curiosity:-) I just want give Anet some feedback how to improove LFG tool.

Seems to be a non-issue when the solution is to have a guild. You just solved your own issue.

Champs are boring and I dont need money really its more about perfection not rewards:-) If you want farm money just go speed clear SE P1 first 3 bosses over and over. Its about 40g per hour.

Its not about CoF1 you just play multiple dungeons once. CoF1,2, AC 1,2,3, CM 1,2,3, TA 1,2,3 HotW 1,3 SE 1,3 CoE 1,2,3 Arah 1,3. With speed clears you did it all in about 3 hours. Its actualy lots of money:-)

Reason are speed clears. You cant do it if you have ppl in PTV gear no matter how skilled you are.

Only exception I would think of is FotM. But PUGing that at high levels is not really an option.

I support this. Nothing wrong with a IWBTG mode. But this only works when you have infinite retries. But ah well, they wouldn’t have sold nearly as much coins then…
I think Ceri disagrees because he already bought infinite coin and/or completed trib mode.

Infinite coin = Infinite retries.

Not that it is needed though. I did all of Tribulation mode last night. I still have 176 continue coins left. I used 30 coins total.

Considering that Scarlet Mary Sued her way through all of Rata Sum. She probably left some code in SAB and forgot about it. But will totally remember it when it manifests.

Yeah, learn from SoS’s victory. Maybe you’ll do better next week!

Reminds me of the time my mom was vacuuming and knocked out the power cord to my Playstation when I was on the final Sephiroth battle in FF7. <— nothing you could do about it then either. Old games worked like that, and so does SAB.

I’m up to World 2 – 2 on Tribulation more and I’m dreading it. Not because of how hard it is. But because of how loooong it is along with 2 – 3.

I have played nearly 3000 hours in the game. Started from head start. Played every aspect of the game. Thrown over 300 gold worth in rare and exotic weapons into the mystic toilet. Have every material needed for a legendary expect the precursor.

Never had a precursor drop or roll out of the mystic toilet for me. Ever.
