I do get that dyes look different depending on the armor/material. I just don’t think the case with light armor and abyss was intended.

I think you just busted Anet in a bug that they haven’t fixed since launch due to putting it down to “different materials distort the dye.”

The moment GW2 goes full F2P is the day I leave the game as I did with SWTOR. Quality is already slipping as it is with content directed towards to cas- erm I mean gem shop to BUY NOW! LIMITED TIME ONLY! BUY BUY BUY!

An enjoyable game with a cash shop is one that offers items to compliment your game. Not steer towards it for basic features.

The game has already become Pay to Win by being able to convert gems to gold to outright purchase “legendaries” that offer the best stats in the game along with being able to change what ever stats you desire at a whim.

This is actually useful when you have to switch gears and traits while in the middle of Fractal and if you’re the instance owner you can’t leave because the dungeon will reset. Or you can never leave an area (like in Teq or the next revamped bosses) because if you did, you will end up in an overflow.

With few small preparations at start you can make sure you have a decent group: put an AP restriction, ask ppl for their overall build orientation and gear, kick those who don’t fit the profile (make sure you got 1-2 soldiers who are sturdy enough, few condition removals and max 1 condition build..oh and NO “BEARBOWS” :P ).

Good pugs start with a good party leader (unfortunately sometime that means you have to be an @ssh@le, and set some rules that exclude certain players).

I would rather not run the dungeon at all than resort to that. This is coming from some one with 11K AP.

It’s just another botched content by Anet that is further killing off the fun in this game.

Across the world, Aether Key Pieces have a chance to drop from all open-world creatures during this release. Combine five of these tradable pieces to form an Aether Key, which can be used to open one of several hidden Aether Chests in the new Twilight Arbor Aetherpath. These Aether Key Pieces will drop worldwide during the Twilight Assault release. After the release, they will only be found in the Tarnished Coast and Steamspur Mountain areas.

JQ has been number 1 in total medal count in tier 1 against all 23 other servers for over a year now. We have had our up days, down days, up days and so forth. The core players in JQ have and will always be the driving force in one of histories most skilled servers.

I was disappointed it didn’t have the gong sounds and the ‘hawhoaaaa!’ like it does in SAB itself.

I haven’t seen the same quality as top end sub to play games past the box purchase. Thus I have not spend any money on gems.

Aside from needing the torch the only thing I would add would be to get plenty of baubles beforehand as there is an area where u need to bomb down icicles and of course these eat up baubles, my experience was that I got so far to the part I just mentioned and ran out of baubles, I was sick did all that for nothing

Just dig the ground for random baubles…

Alternatively get the flute with the icicle breaking song is much preferred.

No. If you aim properly (you can alter your path with the walk forward and walk backwards keys ) you’ll end up on a branch.

Follow it and you’ll find a dangerous path filled with poison water and tricky jumps that require standing in stones hidden underwater. If you go on, you’ll en up by a baubles chest and a 1UP pickup.

But nothing really worth going through all the trouble of going there for. Thus likely prone for a future expansion.

So currently there is a gold spammer on Sea of Sorrows in Lion’s Arch map chat that won’t shut up.

They’ve randomly generated letters and numbers at the beginning and end of their posts to break the game’s anti-spam mechanics.

Ignoring them only shuts them up for a few minutes as they change account to do it some more.

Reporting them sees no immediate action.

So now the anti-spam to prevent gold seller spam is no longer working. Can we have it removed for us actual players?

The cannon hidden in W1-3. I assume it’s a work in progress for a future release.

A way to make you go back to old content like the power up in W2-2 behind the power glove wall.

Alright. Putting it out there. Blue and Red are the most appealing colours to me.

Though whilst Green and Yellow and likely Red and Purple will have the respecting colour tips on the weapon handles.

Why does the old SAB Blue weapons have Pink handles whilst the new ones have Blue?!

Green and yellow are not appealing colours to me. Thus I only did them once. I could really only handle one tribulation mode zone per day as it is quite stressful.

Red on the other hand. I will force myself to farm this every day.

I’ve yet to experience this. You must have done some thing really wrong to warrant such a thing or chose wrong people to party with.

The only time I’ve warranted kicking people after the start of the run is when two people were constantly dying in under 5 seconds due to lack of Agony resistance in fractals. Preventing the group from progressing after multiple resets.

There’s never been an undeserved kick in all the dungeons I’ve run. I was once even voted to be kicked out because I went in first to become the fractal instance owner, but the rest of the PUG party condemned that person and no one clicked the agree button.

I already have 50 bricks refined. 5 ascended weapons crafted and all weapon professions past 475. Yet I still have like 10 stacks of bloodstone dust and growing in my bank.

Just target using tab then. Removing the auto assist is just so useful, it means you don’t leap in to random mobs while running through zones like I used to.

I usually do this when I’m melee. But when you’re ranged. It is a disadvantage to turn it off. Wish we could toggle it depending on the weapon we have active.

Maguuma’s forum presence seems all for going for the gold, but who knows how their rank and file feel about it. I think they’ll be burnt out at the end of the season; but they will have a fun time in the meanwhile.

It sounds like SoS’s sea/oceanics that want a fight should head to a server around their ranking that has no oceanics at all, but fights servers that have tons. Maybe it starts with an M.

Maybe it is because SoS is the unofficial server that there is a stack of oceanics on SoS. Not because they secretly all congregated together to dominate the WvW oceanic time scene. Nor care about the current state of the WvW scene.
