I can’t remember when I got the WvW spoon, I’ve only played 20 minutes of the game mode, so I think it’s not too difficult if you run with a zerg for a bit.
Good luck farming for the WvW spoon. You don’t get that one by farming. It’s completely random as an exotic drop. I tried farming for weeks for that thing. Then I finally got that spoon randomly months after I had maxed every mastery for Tyria mastery and no longer needed points.
For those going for Tyria mastery and getting stuck on the ugly ones. I highly recommend Triple Trouble. It’s the least daunting of them all and easily done when you actually look for organized groups.
If you have all the dyes. You can still salvage them for the scribe profession.
For less than 40 silver each…

Do the math, a pair of socks vs a PS4 equates to about 40 silver to 75 gold, the cost of one of the dyes. The analogies aren’t flawed, you just don’t get them.

I held on hanging for hope that Guild Wars 2 would get better. It did not. I got bored of its excessively recycled content.
I held on hanging for hope that Super Adventure Box would return in a timely manner. It did not. Wouldn’t be surprised if that promise of it returning gets broken too. It was the one good thing that set Guild Wars 2 apart from any other generic fantasy mmo by building on their jumping puzzles system.
So, I’ve moved on. I’ve found my ‘Super Adventure Box’ and its name is Trove.
I dont have any of them stockpiled. I always sold them as soon as I got them. But now drytop is 80% less interesting to me, just another farm map on shedule like all the HoT maps.
The point was never to spawn camp for them. The loot was not good enough for it, just some extra suprise loot and geodes when you came accross one. It is pure Anet’s fault to require one of them for a precursor collection. And now they ruin this rare boss mechanic instead of changing the requirement for their stupid trident collection.
Gotta jump on board of that Heroes of the Storm cash grab.

Where have you been for the last 10 years? 90% of games only get sails because of the Hype trains. Have a look at how many games you’ve bought in the last ten years, and then think about how different they are to what was said/shown, and if you got them based on the Hype surrounding them. Most game I buy are when Steam has a sail, I buy very few before that.

That’s it, and only one of them I got because of the “Hype” around it, and it was the biggest let down. I enjoyed the game for what it was, but I’ll never buy a game made by gearbox again.
It’s actually a semi-common bug where the game thinks you lost the defend Tarir event when fighting the octovine.
That and the map closing and kicking every one out with out warning. It makes doing the HoT events a grinding and unrewarding chore.
Well the HoT maps are a grinding and unrewarding chore anyway, but for the first bug there is a good solution. As far as I know most people that got the no loot bug only did one octovine.
If you do the octovine rotation (you know starting east, going north, then west and last south) you won’t get the bug. At least I never heard of anyone who did the rotation and had the no loot bug.
(That’s the best way to get max loot and prevent bugs^^)
The bug occurred when we used that strategy as well as with out.
Example with HOPE IV. The champion quaggon in Frostgorge sound needs the rescue event to fail for the champion to spawn. People keep killing off the hostile mobs and rescuing the quaggon, so that the champion never spawns.
No matter how one tries to explain the situation and inform them of the better outcome for every one. They go ahead and kill off the event any way. After spending 4 hours of trying to get this champion to spawn. It’s starting to get old when the same thing happens over and over again.
Why is Arena net:
1) Tying fail states of events as requirements for legendary progression?
2) Allowing this type of game play where others can stop your progression from either out of ignorance or spite – yet are totally within their right because they’re “playing the game?”
Apparently Anet takes your account security more serious than you do. It is just another layer of security. It is one extra click and it takes less than a second to do it. I do it on my alt account everyday. It is there if you ever decide to use it.
A second layer of security also adds a second layer of potential login problems inherently.
Some of us who are security savvy would rather not have bank level security for an online game.
They are working as intented, Coztics have stealth, evades, stuns, roots, poisons, and high damage ranged and melee attacks, they are supposed to be theives and rangers with super op stats. Basically it comes down to you need to git gud.
The bow frogs passively evading almost all ranged damage makes no godkitten sense, intended or not.

Agreed, I’ve had the same problem numerous times. I would suggest it say something like “Map Switched: Queens-dale” In map chat once the map changes Shards.(either between different maps or different instances) This would also help notify the player that they got moved to other instances.(such as closing maps)

There is another alternative where you can get rid as many as you want. Do crafting refinement of these materials at crafting level 450+. You can get rid of as many as you want, without no time restriction.
All whilst using up obsidian shards and gold. When you already have a full stack of each refined mat that you’ll never use. No thanks.

Thanksgiving is not a Christian celebration, it’s a U.S. celebration imbedded in the culture. The early European settlers in this land were so thankful to have survived a year that they threw a party and this party has come down through the years since then. There is absolutely nothing in it that says it one religion or another. Any American of any religion, or none, can celebrate Thanksgiving and give thanks to their own God as they please. Or just watch TV, whichever comes first.

I have the entire season unlocked. But the achievements are so buggy and masochistic. It’s asinine to do them.
Your best bet for easy mastery points is Triple Trouble. Just keep an eye out for those organizing for them on LFG. Weekends are usually best. I was scared trying it out for the first time after hearing all the horror stories. But really, it’s a breeze when it’s organized.
