The new populated servers will get most likely spanked hard once they climb up since most of the new people are freeloaders who stop queing once they run into any real opposition.

Until then the super server members get to enjoy 2 hour ques to even get into the maps while the other half of the servers have barely ques at peak times in 1 of the 4 maps.

They really shouldn’t have announced the end of free transfers , matchups are such a mess across the tiers now.

This is just what happens when wvw population from 5 french servers got stacked into 3 servers. There’s no 24h coverage on Gandara so there’s no way french can be countered in early mornings and daytime.
Gandarians just take it easy this week , collect some easy badges from endless zergs and focus on the next weeks matchup that should be good one Piken Square-Gandara-Aurora Glade.

Middle tiers are most likely the most entertaining, you can join an occasional zerg when you feel like it but small group action is also plentiful. Also most of the best players are in mid tiers nowadays.
Top tier is good if you want to play WvW at offpeak hours, late at night and early morning.

Balance is a mess and it won’t be much better any time soon as long as there’s only 2 balance/bugfix devs working on classes.

Augury seems to have changed quite a bit after our last matchup, tons of new guild tags around. Player quality seems to have gone down quite a bit but player numbers across all maps are impressive.

This matchup was as close as it gets nowadays. It will take another month for all the new flavor servers to tier up and the abandoned servers to tier down.

Oh my, with those kind of numbers they might as well remove toughness and vitality from the gear. Who cares about 10% damage reduction, few k of extra hp or tactics when you can buttonsmash your way to victory.

They did hint something along those lines at the livestream the other day. But i doubt well see anything very soon.

Uhm … Tier 1 isn’t the best, it’s the most. Most players online most consistently. That’s the basis of the tier scoring.

Yeah, if anything the skill factor becomes less important in the top tiers. 24h coverage and numbers wins the matchups.

All races move at the same speed by default, it’s just the size of the race and animation that make some races seem like faster than others.

Elementalists are getting hella nerfed. Nothing about the issue with Engineers effectively being a non-class. The only good ideas are the ones that address culling, sPVP, and Fractals. My head is full of kittens.

Don’t be too disheartened about it though. Roll an alt or play some other game until next reset.
Then the server hopping guilds with their golem trains will move up a tier and 28th the transfers will not be free anymore so the natural server balance will get much better.

Yeah, A and D buttons are the ultimate pet counter. It’s great to lose by default third of your dps agains’t player targets.
Guess pets were meant just for open world pve.

Anything they could implement would be just a band-aid until transfers stop being free.

As long as they stop forcing fractals on me i’ll be happy. I haven’t and wont step into a fractal due to principle so haven’t been able to complete monthlies for a good while now.

Transfers would have cost money from day 1 if they would have taken the money grab approach. They always said trasnfers would cost eventually when they get the guesting working , so no conspiracy there.

Yeah, sorry about your bad luck but thats just what it was. Every time you try to make clover you got the 1/3 chance.

The single clover recipe is more reliable to get your clovers as with greater number of tries rng will balance out better. The 10 clover recipe is for lucky people (like me) or to those who like to gamble.

When all the WvW guilds hop to the same server to beat up teir4 servers and unsurpriseingly take over all 4 maps within 10 minutes its kinda impossible for those poor sods left behind to HF and GL wont do much good either… thanks anyway though ¬_¬

Gandara and Augury will most likely do little better during the day but prolly it’s best to play alts or other games for the next week and let Piken climb the tiers.

There was 3 pretty awesome weeks of figting between the 3 servers so it was about time the bandwagoneers ruined it.

The devs almost always make the same mistake with stealth classes in every game. First they confuse stealth with invisibility, combine that with high burst damage and top it off with no real ingame counters to stealth.

After transfer you only get the buff after spending 2 matchups on your new server to prevent needless server hopping.

Been a busy evening already. Would be more interesting though if Piken and Gandara would pay atleast some attention to Augury instead of focusing completely to eachother before Augury walks away with this match like last week.

Oh dear, Piken have the majority of the map at 6am. It appears Gandara and Augory were PvD’d over night. That must be the simple solution! We’ve been shamelessly night capped.

Yup, very sad to hear we have some cheaters. As of these CHOC guys, they are not part of our server community. No contact with them whatsoever. I saw them once at the spawn before your first reports.
Report them so that arenanet investigate (hopefully) and ban them if the hack is proved. As everyone, we don’t want cheaters on our server. If I see them again, I will try to contact or follow them and report them if I see them cheat.

I hope this affair will not skew the result of this match and will not tarnish too much our reputation. We have a very interesting and even matchup. I would not want it to be spoiled by these guys.

Regarding the other affair at hills a day or two ago, no cheat there. The guilds involved are in good standings in our community and I believe them. If you want more infos about this subject, Mp me.

I’ve only seen this guild around very early around 4-8 am cet usually so they can pretty much work without opposition and witnesses so it’s very hard to catch these guys on action.
Seen them getting twice into hills and two towers in the last two nights and have sent the screenshots to arena.net. I’m been off from work now so have been able to see them in action.

Guild [CHOC] from Augury visiting again on Gandara borderlands, ported into a tower and to Etheron Hills. All inner and outer doors/walls untouched. Was just in time to save hills from capping.
I’m starting to wonder why i bother try stopping them or reporting them to Anet…

Try doing something funny when agains’t a thief. Maybe he loses his concentration and falls off a cliff by accident

They have much bigger issues on their plate, like how to stop their playerbase from being hemorrhaged into nothingness.

I’d say this this is one of them. What’s the point in fighting and upgrading towers and keeps sometimes spending hours of time and several gold on them when someone just wallhacks in and caps it.
No thanks to that , if this keeps going on there’s no point playing.
