Yes AR/BP are officially allied against Ebay.

Prolly the 1st 2 servers to just come out an admit it. Problem is AR is pretty much giving away any chances at 2nd place and if they keep it up will move down a tier eventually.

That being said both servers are still LOSING at this time. Ebay as a server is just a flat out better server. We aren’t winning with numbers….no we are winning because we are better players.

@ chips and epidemic its huge in wvw and very useful. And yes I go to the necro forums, hell even have my own thread and also been asked to do the podcast but just haven’t had the time to do it. But to say epidemic is not good for wvw is just plain silly.

Epidemic only hits 5 players. in a 60v60 thats not a huge impact.
in a 10 v 10 epidemic has a huge impact because that’s half of the enemies forces which will have to clean the conditions and blow utilities or heals.

Higher tier = higher skill. There, I said it. You may also check out the dictionary meaning of server “rank”

in this game the Server “rank” just shows how well the coverage is for that server not the skill of the players in that server.

Spvp would be fun if it we needed to fight players not just hold certain spots the longest

like some have already said some don’t like the “zerg” mentality of Higher tiers.

for me personally 15v15 is the most I want to be involved in.
I would love just some constant 5v5 or 10v10 and in higher tiers that might be much harder to get.

Myself I am able to maintain at least 10 stacks in wvw when I focus on someone.

Spvp/tpvp would be nice if it wasnt ruled by people that can just stand in a point the longest.

Eeeeeeeyyy! No we are still here and more focused on the matchup not forums. Yesterday we had a 5man going and were there for quite some time flipping camps, killing ebays and AR (not 1 by 1 lol) not too many skilled players, would have loved to run into a GF group(I usually only see them in enemy bls tho). If you see me I’m the female sylvari guardian in abyss Dark armor with pink quagg backpack, if you see me in-game and want to fight me just invite me, I’m always looking to improve(and 1v1s can fun, no poor sport here).

P.s what happen to the ECHO tag? I don’t see them anymore

[GF] only runs about 2 Thieves a night and maybe another 2 mesmers if Archer gets on his.
Most of the time we run with a pretty balanced group of all classes.

as for [GH] they are a much larger guild so i cant be sure how many are on at a time.

Not to derail as this is great info but …. what’s the difference between roaming and this “havoc” business?

well there really isnt a difference.
roaming usually has very mobile classes (thief, ele) that will just look to pick off other roaming groups. most of the time they get in and out before you know what hit you.

Havoc teams or squads are build to cause damage and take some because most of the time they go and fight larger groups and cause distractions or prevent a group from helping the enemy zerg.

I remember fighting a GF Necro. Well you killed my warrior friend from LD. You were low HP so I just jumped in with my power/blood necro and stomped you with plague stomp. (Nothing to be proud, you were already really low HP and were retreating)

I was on TS with the warrior and I just heard him say : Man a necro just instant dropped me What the h*ll.

Not sure what you did, but he didn’t like it. :P

By the way, I never thought about using the dagger CD reduction for off hand dagger. Is it really worth it?

I can see why you took on dodge trait, and get the vampiric effect too. Would it be better if you went 20 in Reaping, for the 50% longer terror?

usually I am very effective against classes with lots of boons and very few condition removal skills ( warrior/guardians )

I actually do think that the dagger cooldown is nice to have since I can transfer conditions with dagger 4 every 14-15 seconds and blind them, and also with dagger 5 I can apply 10 sec of weakness to an area which has saved my life several times. (1k damage turns into 500 tickles lol )

as for the dodge trait I like it because of the extra bleed stacks I can apply but also the regen i get. with that and staff 2 I can have neat perma regen. which is why I went 20 deep into Blood magic for that added health and regen.

while I have tried the 20 in soul for the added terror duration it just didnt fit with my playstyle and the group playstyle..

thats what what I run most of the time in a group.
I might not be the hardest hitting but once people see the conditions and how much they tick for they panic

1300+ on 1 tick could be Fear or Confusion

my Fears usually tick for that amount and 3 stacks of confusion will tick for 1200

Retaliation turns into 3 stacks of confusion.
if they keep getting retal while in well of corruption thats 3 more stacks each time.

Make wells ground target-able and drop it on the clump of players with retal and watch the confusion ticks go crazy and throw an epidemic just for fun after.

Condition builds = Long strategic fighters
zerker builds = Faceroll and hope the enemy dies first.

I have a thief which was my main for a long time and I now run a condition necro so I know the difference. while it was fun to instagib people I got bored and wanted a challenge.

in Tpvp the point is to hold a spot and cap it. (cant hold or cap while in stealth)
WvW there is no such thing so a thief can freely and constantly stealth and heal without hurting the server/group and wait to burst you down.

Necro Plague form will be OP as it can be a spammable 20 second moving blind field.

All I know is I was bored and was running some supplies and then I see in map chat that BP is at Hills Main inner gate.
we had people on both north and south of Hills and no one saw any golems being moved to hills.

The 20man can be organized or not. As long as the small guild has the skill to fight them. Im looking for the one skilled guild above all.

You might also look into ADD NOQQ and BTSY not sure what servers they are on now though… Of the ones I mentioned I’d say XOXO/SPCA aren’t really focused on synergy and supporting each other rather just skilled players who run together.

OG has fought and killed ADD, NOQQ and BTSY. Need something better than that.

Can’t hang in T4 and too many numbers for T5. My guild moved to T6/BP from T4/CD for more skirmish fighting. While in T4, I remember you talking a lot smack about zergs and how other servers had crap skill players compared to EBay. Course now they are all still T4 or higher and Ebay is in T5… hmmm. Maybe you should have put more effort in to stay in T4 if you wanted a bigger challenge.

[GF] looks for fights in the open field
in T4 when it was mag/YB they would actually come out and play, yes they do zerg (all servers have some sort of zerg) while in this tier unless they have tons of seige or numbers no one will come out of their tower/keep to fight.
