I’ve talked to you guys before and I’m glad that you guys are finally coming around to your senses. I know when we spoke before you said that Dragonbrand was your top choice in-guild. T2 is very stable between TC/FA/DB. Dragonbrand could use Rethesis’s assistance to match TC’s NA power.

On average early NA we tick around 160-200 and by 9pm EST we are ticking 210-260. I’d like to see our min raised to 200 and max around 300 on average. Rethesis can help us do that. We can of course, as we’ve talked, help you farm the money to aid with the transfers and provide you with your guild channel in public ts3 channel and all those extra things that come with a transfer.

Right now we qeue 2-3 maps a night on average and qeue 3 maps during NA prime on the weekends, so there is space for Rethesis to que up that 4th map.

There are a lot of PvE bonuses and guild mission help we can give to you guys too but just shoot me a message on here since I’m away on vacation. And Ethersin I didn’t get your number so I couldn’t visit when I was in Los Angeles!

If you can get 3 maps queued, its really very impressive already. I don’t even think T1 has 3 maps queued at their very peak?

SoR queues all maps during NA prime. Including reset night and during the week. Stay away from SoR.

Here’s my opinion on where you should go.

SoR – Nope. We don’t need you. Our NA queues up enough as it is. You don’t want to sit in queues and we don’t want ours longer than they are already.

JQ – They could use you. However, they have such a large PvE population it may be tough to transfer in. They seem to have stabilized some after the last round of transfers off.

BG – I wouldn’t go here for the simple fact, after guilds transfer in, they start losing members quickly and the guilds eventually die off or become shells of their former selves. I don’t know if this is because of the community on BG or if the guilds transferring in are on their last leg. Many refer to this as the “black hole” server for guilds. You go in, you don’t come out.

DB – I wouldn’t choose this server. Despite what some people say, their community can be toxic. I got a couple buddies over there and they said you don’t want to be there when they aren’t doing well. A few of the newer transfers have really put a strain on things I guess.

TC – Great guys, but you will never be able to transfer in. Probably the best community in the game though bar none.

FA – I know they need transfers, but I have never went up against them and i know nothing about them.

To sum it up JQ/FA/Tier 3 and below.

We included the laurel cost to prevent the economy from suddenly being blown out and to not invalidate the ways PvE players can get ascended items already. This system means that it is faster to get them in WvW, especially for players who already have badges, without being so much faster that everyone only gets them in this manner. As for the difficulty of acquiring laurels in WvW, we have taken steps to address that, including the fact that there will always be 3 daily achievements that are WvW specific. Speaking personally, I’ve been able to achieve my dailies in WvW even without that change, but this should make it even easier.

The thing the irks me is the fact I have bought most of my ascended gear already at inflated PvE prices.

Why is everyone crying in this thread? JQ is getting Euro coverage in the next couple weeks, BG is getting Euro and NA coverage this week and next. Stop all the complaining about coverage. We all know the guilds moving around so stop all the forum posturing and quit with the tears.

I’d rather SoR coming in 3rd and actually having someone to fight than 1st with no one on the field during NA prime time. You have to be embarrassed as an NA server if you can’t field any sort of NA coverage.

The only issue I see with wxp is that it rewards the zerger more than the roamer or havoc groups.

The wxp that is issued for killing someone should be split up with the amount of people that killed that person. So if you soloed a player you should be rewarded more wxp than if an entire zerg killed that one person. Right now they are awarded the same.

As far as leveling fast, I don’t have a problem with it, then again I pretty much only do wvw unless to finish a daily these days and I roam most of the time. Maybe its the server I am in, but if you are in a low tier server isn’t easier to flip camps towers and keeps since it is less likely to be defended?

I hate to say this, but they should have copied the DAOC system with how they distributed RPs. I know, I know…burn me at the stake now. Zergs get less, havoks get more.

Please keep in mind that SoR wasn’t doing much before IRON came to your server with almost two full guilds, leavign SoR with an EU presence that can cover a 40+ man zergs on 3 different maps at the same time. Now I am not down playing any of you guys on SoR and congrats on this weeks win and last weeks win, I think it is much deserved for you guys. Funny on how most nights the BG TS is reporting a 40+ zerg on BGBL and JQBL and we are seeing a 40+ also on EB. At the same time. But what have you I have also seen IRON and lORN which is iron and Lorn. I know this only becuase A few guild friends that have friends on SoR ( gasp spy ) have applied to both. This doesn’t change the fact SoR be it good in their own rights have IRON to thank for their recnt wins. Hope some guilds see the senses to join JQ. Hot competition of jq vs sor and iron made a mistake going to sor and just killing the chances of balance considering its been fairly stable sor being ahead by far for weeks now. Sor will stay ahead till some guilds get bored or others move to jq. All coverage aside the score is perfect proof of the current imbalance in the grand scheme

Rewriting history a bit. SoR had the weakest coverage of all 3 t1 servers. No one could foresee that JQ would start bleeding guilds. At the time Iron made the choice SoR was the best choice as far as balance is concerned.

Let me just say as a SoR native, I’m really happy iron came to us. They filled a gap in our timeslots that was our only true weakness, and they’re super good at what they do, so its win/win. It’s not the only reason we’re winning though. Where has BG gone? A couple of weeks ago you couldn’t step foot on a map without getting rolled by one of their monster zergs.

The overtime some of their guilds were pulling played kitten with their ranks and they lost quite a few people. Everyone here warned them about the overtime and the consequences. They wanted those couple wins though.

They can’t do this now. It would have worked if this was done from the start with one central server farm and everyone together rather than separated.

You can say what you want, but seriously, this kind of attitude leaves a really negative impression on most people and makes them not want to be involved. It will eventually go to far too, and many feelings will be hurt, and people will rage and there will be internal server drama over it. If you want my advice, I would say you should stop this kind of behavior within your own community.

Internal server drama on SoR? It will never happen. If it hasn’t happened by now, it isn’t going to start.

NA servers can never use PvD during NA as an excuse. If you can’t field a few BLs during NA that is on you and your demoralized state. SoR hasn’t changed during NA for 1-2 months. Same people, same guilds.

This opponent change mechanism that ANet is introducing can’t come soon enough. I’m tired of T1 NA servers complaining about their NA time slot. You don’t get into T1 without NA presence.

If you can’t field the BLs, it may be time to move on down the tiers.

I remember BG was beating us every week, and demoralizing our Sea players so badly that they convinced them that their best chance to get to T1 would be to transfer off of SoR to move to BG. We all know how that went though. 2 weeks later we moved up to T1 and BG dropped back down to T2 again.

You went up to T1 because you farmed a dead SBI who all transferred to your server and gained 250 glicko in 2 weeks. That had nothing to do with BG.

Not like you “earned” your way to T1 either.

As for any rumors to [SF] moving off of Jade Quarry, apprently i had a couple of my members go full troll yesterday and state that we were moving to BG. I’ll say well played… and thanks for those members getting me a lot of PM’s… You’re “bag of fun” is waiting on the SF forums. We are not moving from JQ and I had already announced internally to the guild and the JQ community than to go through another server transfer, I’d rather let guildies choose where they would want to go and stay in line to what their personal goals for in game are. Ugh new terms. So can anyone tell me what the difference between a zerg and a blob is?

A group of players is around 4 to 8 people

A mini zerg is when there are less than 15 people

A zerg ranges from around 25 to 50 with mega zergs around 70 number.

A blob is usually hard to exact a number as their main strategy is to run a Melee train on the player steam rolling anything that crosses their path. It can be done with as low as 8 players but usally around 25 players.

In conclusion , a Blob has less players than a typical zerg during reset hours.

Aren’t blobs good then? I thought we wanted to get away from the zergs? Why all the hate on the blob now? Are we supposed to be running 10 man gaggles now? I’m so confused on the weekly rule changes.

I always thought guilds could play when they want. I never knew there was some unwritten honor code about when a guild does or does not log. All is fair in love and war.

I agree with you, they can play whenever they want. I just think people find it funny they started playing in SEA, then bounced to Oceanic, then bounced to NA finding themselves ineffective in every time slot. They finally ended up playing in the EU time slot (where they admittedly are effective).

They are criticizing WM for not playing their timezone (SEA) and they are instead playing other timezones (EU) in an attempt to avoid competition. It has nothing to do with overtime.

I don’t speak for all TW, just my personal opinion. I didn’t mind the troll post. It was fun hunting you down. I think the problem players on BG have is that your server stability is fragile and as many BG vets know, it doesn’t take much to fracture a community. Most of SoR wasn’t upset by your troll post.

Two successful guild transfers. RISE to Blackgate. EMP/RE to Dragonbrand. Yes there is a lot of drama, just mentioning EMP transferring to Dragonband gets people riled up.

If they don’t leave, they just going to get squashed like a bug like they always do. SoR is worthless in T1.
