where the heck do i gt soldier gear of?
and btw i use ruby orbs = more bang for the bucks.. and a assassin back wich berserker jewel so i dont understand why i only have 62% crit dmg and u have 68% and i uses 3 piece of valkyre and 3 of knights with valk weapons and knights jewelry
how much crit dmg d0o u have now with this build?
The temples’ Karma armor is PVT, but you have to mix it. Also all WvW invader gear is PVT. I also heard some dungeon armor is PVT, but I don’t do them that often so I don’t know which ones exactly .
For crit dmg I still have 69 if I use my Knight trinkets, then 86 with my Berserker ones. I’ve started to use bowl of curry butternut squash soup though (+100 precision +10% critical damage) So it’s 79 and 96.
Soldiers armor from dungeons: AC, SE, HotW
I’ve upgraded 2 rings with this method now.
It gives the same ring (same name and stats), but with pre-infusion.
It is no longer soulbound, only account bound.
does process destroys +5 infusion?
The slotted infusion will be destroyed, the new item with pre-infusion will come with an empty slot for you to place in a new infusion.
I think it has a cap at 90% im running theexact build Kami posted and my “Save Yourselves” is at 19s wherein it should’ve been at 20s
Has this already accounted for the fact that timers are rounded down? Supposing that you should see 10s * 2.01 = 20.1s, would it be possible you are missing that ~0.1 second window to see it showing up as 20s?

They only drop in lower fractals – levels 1 through to 10. I have two so far, it is just RNG from mobs.
in party saw drop 1 at maw stage fotm 20 yesterday >.>
Its more common on 1-10 btw
Btw mats can be down or upgraded.
1 shard=3 globs
1 globs=5 vialsif i recall correctly.
Downgrading is 1 Shard = 3 Globs, and 1 Glob = 3 Vials. Never tried upgrading.
If you’re not Altruistic Healing, you’re doing it wrong.
I must be doing it wrong all through 1-20, then.
Looks like same size re-skinned on my Norn.
Yakkington’s to the left, Mad King’s to the right
can pvt armor be crafted? or is it weapon only that can not be crafted?
Both armor and weapons have the same stat sets from the same fine materials (insignia vs inscription), neither can be crafted with Power/Toughness/Vitality stats.
I thought he meant trade post after seeing it on a database site.
Power/Toughness/Vitality stats gear cannot be crafted, whether rare or exotic.
Besides AC, you can also get them from SE and HotW.
Certain karma vendors in Orr will also have armor pieces with these stats.
I’m still crafting exotic gear for myself to use if they have the stats I want. Ascended gear has not been fully released yet, I haven’t seen anything about a specific timeline or anything that would definitely exclude improvements to the crafting system from being useful when more ascended gear are released.
I don’t know what the point of crafting may be for the future, but the point of crafting now hasn’t changed much (except for jewelcrafting)
Well, there is a giant arrow for the ground target…
Think of it as ground target
How far into Fractals do I need to go to see this guy?
You can get it on any difficulty, they are randomly selected for each party and instance.
Put 4 masterwork level Soldier’s Field Guide (from Fractals) into the forge resulted in no return; tried only once. Just adding to your data compilations.
I find it amusing how everyone can so definitively claim something is not an exploit.
it is your fault for having unintended fun you should have been playing the game as intended and finding joy in all the other builds that you didn’t use in the first place because they aren’t as fun.
The tool tip was never clear that there should not be combo finishers, so please explain how it was the players fault?
The players should have noticed (did) and expected (did) the fix on the cool down, but that’s not all they changed.
Which means that nado entirely became a worthless skill. There is absolutely no reason to have that skill on the bar no more.
Yea, lol, but at least it’s consistent
Well this is depressing… i really want to love elementalist but god kitten they’re making it hard.
Honestly, blast rolling into my fields was half the fun i got from staff.
And nerfing tornado? what is this…lol…nerfing tornado. Nobody uses that anyway. Jokes on you, Anet.
They used it for the stability/cancel, which at least made sense to fix
Evasive Arcana still works for me idk why but it does i dodge and i still sent them off. anyone getting this
The AoE spell still triggers, but is not a Combo Finisher: Blast
TGSlasher we read it correctly and it appears all blast finishers where unintended, either that or they kittened it up.
That is crap, also, evasive arcana in earth gives: Churning Earth (it doesn’t its bugged) and churning earth is: a blast finisher. Does earth dodge still give a blast finisher or are they all gone?
All gone. Tested/testing on dummies right now, no finisher on earth dodge.
You guys did read this correctly?
Evasive Arcana: This trait no longer creates unintended blast finishers.
To me that sounds like no secondary blast finisher
Technically, it never said the spells at the end of dodge were supposed to be blast finishers to begin with, either. So, yea, we can argue the wording all day long, but the fact remains that currently, as tested in game, there are no blast finishers at all.
Even when infusion comes to armor, you wouldn’t need to use either all 6 armor pieces with rune slots or all 6 armor pieces with infusion slots. Mix, match, find the balance.
yeah, vick that’s what i was asking. if legendaries are top-shelf, then it makes sense for them to keep their purple text and have their stats raised.
when the ascended weapons come out, will their stats land between current exotics and legendaries?
that brings more questions, because if current legendaries are raised to only MATCH ascended stats, then when ascended weapons come out, they will be equal. but lindsey has stated that ascended is meant to fit in the gap between exotics and legendaries, so that would mean legendaries would get another boost in stats?
The match the gap was in reference to the difficulty in obtaining the item, it was a statement about progression (or rarity) and not stats.
Legendaries are not higher stats now than exotics.
This about gaining experience stuff, is just lame. No person in their right mind in real life or in any fantasy land would create an item just to sell the finished product for less than they could get out of raw materials.
How is it lame and not in the right mind to save hours upon hours of grinding?
Also available through SE and HotW, comes with different rune sets for each dungeon.
a bit OT: do you get the master crafter title only if you have all crafting on one toon? or can it be spread amongst all your alts?
It can be spread out.
There was an oddity, I was seeing Candy Corn last night. Just for a second or two in Cursed Shore. Perhaps it’s still buggy after the Halloween event?
It’s happening to me too; probably some sort of caching being updated as we “discover” those areas again
This is probably the first time I heard exploits, or at least unintended effects, be called “depth” of game play.
I think you’re looking for the same/similar information as this
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/crafting/Insignia-Where-s-the-one-I-want/
Just to confirm because you still seem to have some doubt, there are only 7 stat distributions of insignia each tier, corresponding to the 7 non-dust fine materials for the tier.
On the one hand, it would be nice to be able to craft more varieties, perhaps though combining different fine mats in one insignia instead of all claws, or all bloods.
On the other hand, it motivates me to do dungeons for other stat combinations.
Burns stack in duration. I haven’t checked this exact combination, but that is the rule for burns.
CHOAM Is Quick Glyph, Glyph Mastery?
We ask because here was the formula given above:
Healing glyph+quick glyphs trait+glyph mastery trait=perma 33%ms
It has both Quick and Mastery as seperate, I too cannot find Mastery and I’m interested in Perma 33%.
I had assumed you referred to this post instead
Where is this Glyph Mastery you speak of?
Sorry, my bad, I meant to say Quick Glyphs, its an air adept trait. It reduces glyph recharge time by 20%.
I mixed up the name with signet mastery (same effect on signets).
There’s probably more than one way to perma +33% if you use different traits, but what I used to do is Staff Air #5 + blast finish, Staff Air #4, Glyph of Elemental Harmony
Pretty sure that one’s discoverable.
for the life of me i cannot find the glyph mastery trait which tree does it belong in????
Quick Glyph is Air trait III (3)
Windborne dagger is not working at this time
Even without +Heal (i.e. focusing gear stats on damage or condition damage), I believe blast finishing (such as arcane wave) your own water fields can be helpful to your party. Kiting is usually done within a circle for the obvious reason of avoiding reset and adds, so you can anticipate where a party member will be and place your geyser accordingly. I usually do not expect anyone to actually stand in the geyser or even walk over it, I just place it where I can use a blast finisher on it.
If you choose to trait for it at level 60+, you also can get blast finisher at the end of your evade rolls, which help you burst heal (or burst whatever fields you want).
Even if your heal doesn’t bring them to full health or doesn’t seem like a lot, every little bit helps. Whatever health you gave them might let them survive their condition damage long enough to heal themselves, or recover enough stamina to dodge, or any number of things.
Use salvage kits on medium armor or things that says “leather”, “pelt” etc
about 30-35 runs
1x 76 exotic
1x BL Key
3-4 BL harvesting tools
Some boosters, Some tonics
This does not include the pToT bags which I am saving to open all at once later
Adorned gems (with the filigree) are the ones that can only be used in Jewelry (Rings, Amulet, Accessories). Regular gems can be used in everything.
(edited October 29, 2012 02:54 by Yoshihito.5928)Incorrect. The backbrace you get from the class story has an exquisite gemstone in it, so back pieces can recieve the super deluxe gems that take filigrees and Ectoplasm to make. It is just that the guild backpacks and the book are bugged and don’t take them.
That’s because back items are considered accessories (accessories meaning jewelry in general, not ear pieces), from what I can tell. Likewise, you cannot put a rune in them, so they’re not functioning as armor.
The book is not a bugged item, because you can put in an adorned (copper filigreed pebble) into it. It is working as intended as a level 0 item based on the current game mechanics that items cannot receive upgrade components that are higher level than the item itself.
Whether the reward should be a level 0 item would be a design discussion, but not a bug.
Whether the upgrade mechanics needs to be changed would be a design discussion, but not a bug.

I believe you are looking for section 9b of the User Agreement
https://www.guildwars2.com/en/legal/guild-wars-2-user-agreement/
User Agreement:(b) Each Account may only be used by one person. If a minor has been allowed access to an Account by his/her parents or legal guardians, only that minor may use the Account thereafter. You may not make any assignment or transfer of rights, obligations or liabilities related to this agreement and any attempt
I am not an expert at interpreting these documents, so the rest of you, have at it.
I can imagine a lengthy debate on the difference between use and access. It is in the interest and of use to the owner to allow someone else to access the account…? It would also not be intended as a permanent transfer.
Like I said, I am no expert.

If you are 160, the biggest payoffs for discovery are the 150 recipes. Discovering within 25 below your current craft level is the best way to go, skip some if the ingredient cost is too high.
Uhm… can’t you just zoom back in?
No edit button… but you can also do the dragon in Sparkfly and Blazeridge for Greens and Yellows; the loot will scale up to your level-ish. Sell what you can’t use on TP, buy what you need.
Well that appears to be my problem, I can’t afford exotics and have been only able to get a few rares. The problem is dieing and armor repair drain my money too quick. I guess what I’m going to honestly have to do is buy gems and sell them for gold to get anywhere with my (frail)mentalist from what your suggesting.
I didn’t have a full rare set until after I was level 80 for a few days. I crafted my set from farming materials. I don’t know if that’s a viable option for you.
I am saving them up for the puking animation.
Yea, the AoE splash through makes it pretty impractical. I’ve only ever used it on some commune skill challenges when I am feeling lazy.
Quite frankly, I’ve never seen anyone quitting a game because it didnt’ have hard puzzles.
What about people who quit because of a buggy but optional puzzle?
