I must be blind. All I see is random posts that have nothing to do with HoT gear. v_v

I don’t like crafting in GW2 either and I have been a sole crafter in many of games.

Now I don’t dislike it because of how crafting works. I love discovering my own recipes. When you craft in bulk how it goes by faster and faster per item you’re crafting. It’s a great setup. I love the actual CRAFTING.

But mats are worth more than the items you’re making. Everything you make is nearly useless. It’s simply a grind to make end game gear with nothing of value anywhere in between.

It’s sad to me that the popular or most common mindset is “Well it is what it is. Suffer like the rest of us” rather than say “Hey, lets suggest something that can improve the experience”

I would love level 1 crafting to cap to have more meaning than end game. Something that could increase the reason to enhance the enjoyment. Account bound unique skins. Selling to merchant is a good chunk of change. Etc etc. There are plenty of options that could improve crafting to make it feel more than just end game gear.

Sorry if this wasn’t quite on subject. But I feel if there were rewards for people to do such other than end game gear even if it wasn’t 100% enjoyable they would find the rewards at least worth the ride.

It’s apparent quite a few who have engi and ranger as their main feel disappointed thus far. Give them some love! Idk what I’d do if my main was last. Probably explode. xD

It is not really a big problem, I agree. It would just be a convenient option and given that armors save their dyes, it seems not too difficult to implement for outfits as well.

Call me a nab but I just realized armor does that. And if you switch back and forth between something new and old said dyed armor, it transfers. O.O

I don’t know what I could say here but I see why Anet is heading in this direction. And I’m okay with it. I also see why Vets might feel a sting.

I would like to see people less burned by the issue. I think something reasonable would be a discount on gem items compared to f2p. Tell me if this doesn’t sound enough or is unreasonable. It doesn’t have to be a large discount but something to make staying a customer feel more VIP / Special.

I like when it’s a challenge that can be faced by smaller than the recommended party size. I’ve yet to zerk through any dungeon. We do it 2-3 man and actually have fun working together.

Supporting each other through each boss and knowing “well he doesn’t have condi cleanse so it’s my job to watch for that” and etc.

Finding unique ways that others may not of thought of to get through the fight even if it takes longer.

Stuff like that. If there were ever a mode where me and my team can’t play how we have in every game I doubt I’d touch it. It just wouldn’t be fun. Which is more important than anything.

I finally got to hear the sound for warhorn and . . . I feel like a little kid. I laugh every time. xD

The tweet is very odd for several reasons:

It doesn’t show up on the @guildwars2 timeline, and it says it was posted at 8am, which it wasn’t, as it appeared less than an hour ago.

I’m suspicious for other reasons. For example, we haven’t even tested druid or gotten any info on that class, or the number of maps, or . . . well, you get the idea. Let’s not even talk about the amount of content again or what this hints.

Regardless, hope it’s not a buggy mess, but yes. Please confirm if possible.

My guess is that they’ll have at least one more BWE for Druid and engine, then one big event for all the specialization a before launch to iron out changes, and we’ll see more changes afterwards after HoT drops too.

Here’s hoping! I keep saying it but I’d love to see them start rolling out BWE every weekend now until hot is live. I mean all it can do is some good. There’s plenty of testing yet to be done

I don’t and won’t be playing with “on evade” traits. Using dodge a bit earlier than strictly necessary for the sake of evading attacks is often tactically the better option. It’s not all about the incoming attacks, it’s also about neatly fitting in your dodges between your own skill use, especially if your skills can’t be used on the move. I’ll pick traits that don’t conflict with how I want to and am used to play. Plenty to chose from.

And really it’s a bit annoying for me. When I dodge out of a large aoe ring I’m always less than a second off to getting a “successful evade”. It’s like . . . really? Well wont slot for that again. xD

It also had datamined tidbits of maximum lvl of 15 for free trial (makes sense, only able to get into those start zone lvl 1-15 maps like queensdale)….

Couldn’t speak in map chats or use trading post and things like that either so I HIGHLY DOUBT its a full f2p game lol

That datamined info is over a year old. It is almost certainly not relevant. It’s probably something ArenaNet considered in the past and scrapped in favor of something else.

Your right its old and probably have some things changed but still. I highly doubt anet will put out a completely F2P, full edition of the core gw2 game….

They would also need to prohibit the free accounts from posting on the forums. I read ArcheAge forum with its free accounts. Gold sellers and sellers of sexual aids advertised regularly on there. They would get banned, get another account and post again.

What they really SHOULD do is change the Zeal GM minor’s functionality so that symbols have that initial burn pulse on all symbols, instead of the crap 33% chance per hit bullkitten. Or better yet, do the same thing but merge it into Symbolic Avenger and put something non-symbol dependent as the minor.
