Do not defend the buttflap!

Curious if this could ever be a thing. When I first read about Elite Specs I recall someone saying something along the lines of when someone asks your class; you wouldn’t say Ranger. You would would answer “Druid” if spec’d into it.

I know this is trivial and not very important but personally I’d like for the class icon to change when I am spec’d into an elite.

Anyone else feel like this could be a really neat addon?

Anet, please change your mind on the outfit/gemstore idea. Outfits are only good to place on non-level 80 characters. Once you hit level 80 that’s when you can really customize your character. Outfits don’t allow you to do that and you’re just running around looking like everyone else and that kind of sucks.

Not to say I love outfits or anything but I see plenty of 80s running around in them.

I would love this. I am so enthused to try out Druid and Scrapper. A week long fun would really be fantastic. It would also calm people who feel like the last two aren’t getting as much love. ^.^

The blue color is likely caused by a distortion as it appears that the screenshot was taken from a camera phone from what looks like a downward angle.

I really hope so. Like we need more blue-themed weapons.

She quickly strayed from the pale tree, not gaining further protection from the Ventari’s tablet. They’ve said the farther you are from it; the weaker it gets and the stronger Mordy’s call is. Perhaps what she saw that was left unseen wasn’t the universe’s secrets but something that allowed Mordremoth to get a grasp on her.

When you see the cutscene with her lying on the floor, dead. . . there is something that looks like “decay” all over her face. Could this of been plant growth instead?

I find that the ending of ls1 was left very unsettling because it would finally be resolved in ls3. Why did she do this? She doesn’t get to answer. But maybe we’ll finally find her answers while we play ls3.

Reset my computer a few times. Tried on different characters in different areas.
Can’t view Gemstore, Gold / Gem Exchange, or the Trading Post. Never loads. And by never I mean I left it open and came back 30 minutes later and it’s still blank.

We got a teaser!

I know this might seem odd to the rest of you. But it’s exciting to me and I love the art style. Great start to my week!

Thought I would share my experience with you guys!

A lot of you know what happened towards the end where Tybalt faces the dragon alone.

My second time going through the playthrough I decided I wasn’t going to just let it happen.

As the doors closed, I tried to kill enemies with aoes through it. It didn’t do anything so me and my <3 started doing what we do best in every game. Jumping at every cliff edge until we can get higher and to “where we’re not supposed to be”.

Finally when we reach the top, my <3 tells me to just go back down. Not to look. Just go back down. As someone firm that he lived and he’s just hiding . . . (you leave me be! I’m an optimist) I had to see. There he was . . . laying on the ground dead behind the door. There’s no revive symbol above his head. Nothing we could do.

After trying to get to him for about 10-15 minutes that was just the WORST experience ever. 10 times worse than the feeling of my first play through.

Who ever wrote this story! You are so creative but so cruel!

I main a male Norn and I have to say I feel like my choices are extremely limited, because I do not want to either: expose the fact that my dude’s chest looks like a danged Sasquatch in the predatory, (what’s with those SHORTS anyway?). Or he ends up looking like fatty mcfatbutt in everything else other than the Sneakthief coat. I chose the most slender body type for him, and that’s the only one that provides a trim waist. I’d love to change up his look, but every. single. coat. and just about every outfit I own gives him thunder thighs and leaves me singing the Big Butts song…

If I go Druid? God only knows what I would put him in…

Yepppp! The issue with becoming a druid is one thing on my mind. Sylvari seems to work best for looks for it (plants gunna plant). But when I tried on annnnything else I just ended up feeling disappointed. This is one of those sad times where an outfit covering my gear actually makes things better. xD

Is there anything anyone could possibly say that would make your tastes and preferences change so that you want to play the game? No.

This game is in desperate need of plain pants for all races, both sexes, and all armor types. I’m constantly fighting against the trenchcoats and inexplicable flaps when I try my hand at fashion.

Yess! I’m having a horrible time finding something I like in heavy. And I lucked out liking some of the stuff for Medium as a Sylvari.

Light armor the pant count = 1. And it has a skirt / buttflap.
I ended up getting Incarnate pants. But they also have an odd flap in the back that would of been 100% better if it wasn’t there.

Nice! I know of two people in my guild that had key drops this week. I’ve been leveling a new character so I’m killing more mobs with hearts, eotm, and story dungeons. No drop yet!

When I was farming SW someone had a key drop from a hyena.
My friend got one from map completion.

So there’s hope but nothing that will be quick and painless.

For a couple of weeks now I’ve had the issue that when I hold my mouse right button to turn camera I randomly select things. I asked around and a few other people who also use the right button are having this issue recently.

I don’t have an issue with my mouse when I’m doing anything else so I wondered if this is some kind of “bug” in game as of recently.

It’s rather frustrating to run over a bridge and start whacking at it. To be in pvp and randomly target my team mate. The list goes on and on.

I would say this is on my end and I need a new mouse if there weren’t more people having the same problem.

And yehh. There are a few. VERY few options where I got no buttflaps. Everyone is wearing those options.

Cloth Starter Skirt is probably the most common for cloth wearers.
Sneak Thief probably the most common top I see for Medium.
Heavy would probably be the Phalanx leggings.

Every heavy armor leggings I put on. BUTTFLAPS. It’s never simple, it’s never just a pair of pants.

Every medium armor chest armor I put on. BUTTFLAPS. It’s never a simple top that I can wear with a pair of pants.

Every light armor leggings I put on goes to my ankles. FRONT AND BUTTFLAPS. It’s never a simple pair of pants.

I heard you like buttflaps with your pants so we put buttflaps on top of your buttflaps so you can buttflap while you buttflap.

It’s nothing really. I have made this habit to test things for so long. It’s probably one of my favorite things to do. Though I wont lie this time it actually gave me a bit of a headache.

We could really use any information what so ever. I understand the increase % was added but even if they don’t want to say by how much they could at least indicate the areas of the game that could possibly have the best odds. (My guess is Fractals at the moment. I’ve seen people say the most often that they got theirs from there more than anywhere else).

I had a friend tell me a bit a go now that since; he completed around 4 maps and got 1 key. Which is better than my odds. But he seemed defeated and claimed it took so long it’s just not worth it.

I’m guessing we have no “worth” grinding way to get keys anymore minus gold to gems. Means a lot more people at SW. I mean when there is game there is farming, right? xD

Say what you want, but this class has been broken for a while. There is a reason ranger CDI was the first profession. It needed the most help. You don’t have to be a good ranger or bad ranger to realize this class is mediocre to below avg in every aspect of this game.

I wouldn’t say"every" aspect of the game but you’ve made your point I suppose. It’s still a fun class to play.

I see 150 for 1 key and I figure. . . butterfly wings will be coming. Dragonfly wings. New minis. And there are plenty of skin sets I haven’t gotten yet. All show me exactly what I am getting for my money and it’s a positive feeling from gem purchase to skin purchase. The lotto box on the other hand. Even when I farmed I resulted no tables left to flip. Just horrid results.

Farmed every day for hours on end since the change. Killed mobs for hours upon hours. Completed maps.

0 keys. 10 BLC+.

Now part of this could be blamed on the fact I have horrible RNG. But regardless it’s obvious the drop rate wasn’t increased enough to call it noticeable.

I started off on this “test” hopeful to be able to come back and provide positive feedback that would cheer up the community. v_v I have failed.
