Any day. All day long. Regardless of spec; all characters are dragon hunters. Not everyone is a daredevil. xD

I think the biggest issue with the elites is people aren’t thinking about how it’s a new play style. They are acting like it’s an upgrade gone wrong.

DH was rough during bwe1 but since we’ve seen a lot of updates coming to it for bwe2 and bwe3. So points of the OP are extremely invalid.

Because the purpose of a BWE is not to perfect your builds. It’s to BETA test the game for ANet. Find bugs, give feedback on things. Yes, you may play better in different builds, but enough people will be playing in those different builds for ANet to get a feel if things are balanced or not. You’re helping ANet figure out if it’s balanced for multiple gear set ups.

One of the things they’ve asked for feedback on is how well the masteries progress. They realize that they may not get enough data over the course of a single BWE so have made the choice to not reset the accounts so that they CAN get feedback on how masteries progress.

If they get enough feedback about the progression, they may choose to do a future BWE with a reset involved.

It has nothing to do with perfect builds but rather seeing if builds will add to the strength of something new where as not using that build otherwise would make it look weak and need an unneeded buffs. Testing variations is helpful.

Anet already said your beta bank and toons will persist thru all the BWEs. At this time, there is not going to be a reset. That may change between now and the next BWE, but as of right now, there is no reset. I seriously doubt they will change it now since the way BWEs operate has already been officially announced. I planned ahead of time and had everything ready to go in the bank. Maybe people should have paid attention to what ANet told them and done some planning and preparation.

It has nothing to do with paying attention lol. When I tested last beta I realized the runes I wanted to see work didn’t come with the boxes given. I had to go back and craft them because they are account bound. There’s also the fact that I didn’t have enough laurels to complete the set I’d been working on until this last week, also. Having the proper gear helps understand how strong or weak something actually is.

I’m sure I’m not the only one who didn’t realize Warrior and Thief would be so soon, either. I don’t store things unless I need them so it effects how well I can test them.

It’s already one of the least played classes in the game because of how utterly medicore it is in every facet of the game minus soloing stuff

I see that you are quite a new player (at least in the account you are posting), so my suggestion is to lower your expectation by a lot when dealing with those classes, it will prevent a lot of hurt later.
All I’m hoping for Druid is to make us a desirable option (not need to be the best) for at least 1 game mode (PvE, PvP or WvW)

The only thing I don’t like is “Symbol of Energy: Removed the burning on impact (no other symbol has an additional effect, so this felt weird). Increased damage dealt by 10%.”

I always wished there were additional effects like burning with symbols solely because the symbols are easy to avoid as it is and the consequences felt so rewarding with Symbol of Energy.

I really enjoyed the burning on it but it’s not a deal breaker if it’s gone.

I feel very solo on liking the name Daredevil. It’s the kind cheese appeal I appreciate.

The only one I find to be odd is Dragon Hunter. Fine name indeed if everyone regardless of class wasn’t a Dragon Hunter by default.

That’s true but no one wants to shell out $$$ for a expansion to have underwhelming content released when it goes live, totally defeats the purpose of alpha and beta testing. Nothing will be perfect of course but people want to feel good about their expansion purchases and have a good launch of the game.

The elites aren’t the only thing to the expansion though. Easy to forget this but there are many things we should be testing. Not just our favorite classes. ^.^

But anyway~ assuming it’s going to not be enough testing time when we don’t know how many betas we have left is just being pessimistic, yeah? We could have a December release for all we know. And they could very well start having bwe every weekend if they needed. Ya never know!

Just something I’ve been thinking a lot about in regards to Dragon Hunter.

When you’re extremely immobile and slow and you toss some root via skill kit on top of that it just doesn’t make me enjoy myself when I play the class. For me personally I would like to either see some running speed given or the root removed.

If I wanted to play a game where I stand still and attack I’d go back 15-20+ years and play MMORPGs back then. xD

I really hope Anet can do something about privacy settings. I take the steps to block and report a gold seller who is pestering me over and over. And by that I mean at least 5-10 whispers flooding my chat. Then after I report and block them a fresh name starts spamming me directly afterwards.

Now I know I’m part of the minority here but as someone who has purchased Electro Blue and Electro Pink, two of the most expensive dyes, This new birthday present has made me pretty kitten angry. Why should someone get something that has equal value to that of a Precursor for free?
Granted they may not be truly worth the amount of gold they’re listed for… blah blah but they’re still a big ticket item, just as legendaries are, They’re something you can be proud of but this present has taken away all value.

This has been a great last couple of days! I’m enjoying the anni sale and was surprised to get a teaser this morning. It’s going to be a great gw2 week for sure!

All they’d have to do is make hide helm separate from outfit hide helm, right? In the outfit check box, add check boxes per item. This would make for some interesting customization. Check boxes for everything head to toe. Then using the usual equipment check boxes would only effect gear.

I am slightly annoyed that when I make a new character I can’t take the helm off because I don’t have a helm on. I know there’s a simple fix (get a helm) but the way it works is just silly.

I managed to put together a pretty good look for my male sylvari Mesmer, but it took a lot of doing, and I’m not sure what else to do. It’s mostly a combination of the Honor of the Waves and Vigil sets, with Exalted shoulders.

I had to google to find what the makeover kit offered before I bought it. Went and bought one and found the wiki wasn’t even up to date and there was a lot more stuff than listed. I wish there was an area we could go to that allowed us to just preview and but not apply the hair options available. >.<

I also wasted many kits because I was disappointed after buying a hair. Some of them do not move at all and it makes attractive hairstyles crap soon as you get out of the makeover kit. I wish there was an option to “see animation” in the kit. Like what it looks like running. This way I could of not wasted 4 kits and never bought the awful ones that don’t move at all. v_v’’

Now I’m too scared to use the one I have because I’m nervous it’ll be another stiff cardboard hair. x.x’’

While I agree ms is lack luster as a gm but using it makes the scepter far less clunky. I’m using it in a power shatter build. Gs scepter/torch. The auto attacks hit for 1.5 damage the block can be used on the move so your not rooted like blurred frenzy, and #3 hits for over 8k and is pretty fast using the trait. Honestly using the trait makes the scepter feel like a normal weapon, just showing the current state of the scepter.

This was my thoughts! Just for power shatter. Just wanting to shatter as much as possible. I hate that it kills my phantasms but v.v most times they don’t live past the first attack anyhow.

Thanks to everyone! I appreciate all the input. I think I have to stick to MS just because I went without it and . . . it’s just a snore compared. You’d think because it kills phantasms that would be punishment enough for the attack speed increase to be baseline ;.;
