I don’t know why people point out sylvari when they’re just leaves and bark :P I think people want more skin showing…you know human skin? Who finds leaves attractive?
Heh too bad there are only like 2-3 of such armors. I vote for more open ones in future updates. They are all just so closed compared to the female models!
I did Shatterer and claw of Jormag for the first time today, i was disappointing in the loot but even more disappointing was that I had no sound while taking them down. Like in your video that was all I heard from my speakers not even 2 minutes after they spawned.
You have no idea what an immersion-killer is that :/
Also note to the people who think this is partially maybe if you have a low-end computer or even medium one because that’s not the only thing, the game is badly optimized.
The particle effects are not scaled down nor nothing during these events so everything gets rendered. Thus the lag. And memory leak happens resulting in the sound bug. I think it’s time you optimize the game well – why design a huge world with world bosses designed for many players even if most people can’t run it properly?
Great news:) I hope for adding new events to existing areas, especially in the south sun cove. Nobody goes there anymore! Also I would love to see some basic features like dungeon finder, preview on trade post and maybe new bank slots for ingredients.
Oh and also some class fixes to. And bug fixes to some events
And I have 1 wish also, please make other rewards like black lion kits and such drop more frequent from daily award. I haven’t gotten anything besides jug of karma and mystic coins for weeks!
Before you strip down female armors even more I vote for revealing male armors. It doesn’t have to look kittenty but more sexy imo. Having 1 arm or no arm on 1 boob won’t change anything. Why is this so important anyways?
I agree. I just recently resumed my personal story and my god it’s bad. It’s like it isn’t MY story anymore…it’s all about him and him being a great leader. My character barely gets any lines anymore… + his voice acting is terrible. Why did you have to replace awesome Forgal with this generic boring character? Anet, if you love your players you will remove Trahearne from the game entirely and never mention his existence again.
Every time I see him in a cutscene I feel like punching a hole through my screen

1) Tengu – most obvious choice, they already have a “starter city” if you could call it like that and extensive lore. Probably will come out in some kind of expansion because it makes no sense to play the same story with them
2) Largos – because they are freaking cool! No seriously, that moment when I saw that largos in the personal story mission I said to myself “i want to play this race”. There is just something mysterious and unique about them and the voices are great. I like how they swim too.
3) Centaurs – they’re evil in Tyria but may be good now in Elona? Not sure how the armor or swimming would work, but it would be interesting so to say. I can’t pick any other race because they are all minor and lack sufficient intelligence and culture
But tengu and largos most because they are awesome
One of the things that could have been nice is to have the allies from the beginning of the game re-appear later. They wouldn’t need a major role per sé, but they could appear as allies or visitors. A random text-only reply would have sufficed. But the thing is now, the player will never see their former friends again and if they go back to their home instance, if they do see them, they’re mostly ignored.
Make the first friends part of the story, even if just through the use of cameos. That way, it wouldn’t matter as much that the Pact is led by Trahearne.
This! I expected Reeva from my story to appear again or my warband…I can’t even remember what my warband members were called and that’s supposed to be important if you’re a charr :/ They rot somewhere in black citadel…
Eh it’s not the Nvidia problem…I run the game with 50-100 fps and doing just fine but sometimes it lags a lot. GW2 is just badly optimized and only thing you can really do is get a really good computer
I can’t help but agree. Even though most medium and heavy armors are covered there needs to be more armors that are not form fitting like regular womens clothing or that have boob cups and cleavage. I’m no nun, but I have a certain preference how a warrior-type should look like. So I’m always more for practical even tho I do value aesthetics. Armor must be cool without conforming strictly to the traditional rule of sexy armors which can be fun but make no sense.
I think if I want to look like formless space marine I should be able to lol. I’m not playing fem chars so I can look at their bodies just like guys don’t roll male chars so they can stare at theirs.
Please allow us to right click on somebody in chat and right click on his/her name and invite them to party instead of writing the name in the party window for invite…so many players have such weird or complicated names and I can’t write them down too quickly before somebody else invites them in a group for dungeons! Can we have this basic feature please?

There isn’t a fixed volume limit for skulls. Humans can afford smaller and weaker jaws because we don’t kill things with them anymore, Ozzy Osbourne excepted. Charr brains look to be larger than an entire human skull (simply because their heads are bigger).
In addition, a brain’s size does not nessecarily determine intellegence or complexity. There are limitless ways in which something can evolve and gain intellegence—the way we have is just one
True this is just one, but proven most successful. It’s the reason no other animal on planet is intelligent as we are. Brain size does not affect intelligence but body-brain size ratio + other things. All-in-all charr are based on big cats and it’s just fantasy in the end

Well I have no problem with young karkas they are easy to kill for me at least I pull 2-4 at the time and kill em, I think veteran mobs blocking the way, wind riders and reef drakes with insane stacks of confusion (or was it daze?) is the reason why not many people bother.
And seeing lack of events is also depressing. Which is shame because I like the design of the place. And events that are there reset after like 2 minutes of completion so there is no point in doing them more then 1-2 times.
I got 800 gems as a gift from a friend and since there was nothing else I liked I bought 10 of those boxes and got 2 snowmen and 1 flying golem. Is this common?
I realized that I can’t preview armor that isn’t my type anymore. For example now I can’t preview medium and light armors with my heavy armored character.
Is this a bug or intentional? If it’s intentional why? There is no point in that…I liked previewing all armor sets :/
Hi, I wanna make a suggestion, and it has to do with event since it’s about the wizard’s hat.
Now I think it looks quite awesome and wouldn’t be it more awesome if we could have every costume piece available for remodeling into normal headgear? I mean how great would it be to walk around like Gandalf with beard and shoot fire balls at stuff?
The name of this thread should be changed. It’s not so much about being skimpy is it more we just want to look fashionable. When was the last time a potato sack or tin can looked fashionable?
At the end of the day it’s about choice. If you don’t offer a choice either way across both genders you are painting yourself into a corner.
Thing is there is a choice in the game already and this has been discussed milion times before the game was released.
The only thing lacking is armor equality within the same sets (not all but great portion of light armors). If the male armor is concealed and female revealed in the same set that is nothing but sexist. If both are concealed or revealing then it’s fair. I’m unlike most girls – don’t care if my char looks sexy or not. I certainly won’t be staring at her body while playing nor I have such interest. I make my characters look cool and more armor is better for me.
I like it but I think its way too easy – I was a fan of the Halloween one for its difficulty tbh.
Anet, next time please don’t listen to whiners who complain that it’s too hard because that’s what made it so fun!
Disagree, there is already enough of it, armor is supposed to protect, not make you look like a kitten. Males get plenty of coverage no reason why females should wear less in the same armor set. That is immature as hell.
If there is going to be skimpy clothes, the same set should offer the same solution for both genders, and not have a female version look kittenty and cut-out.
P.S. I love fully covered female armors, those are just kitten
- Random present drops from the sky
- Wintersday weapon skins that don’t require chests to open them
- Special pets like jingle bears like in gw1
- A huge x-mas tree in LA with tons of presents beneath that you can open
- Removal of Ascended gear
They already stated any reward will be available throughout the entire day/event so what’s the problem there? Would you rather have another fail one-time event, or event that actually lasts all day/night and rewards you whenever you decide to show up?
Gamble is not my thing. The only thing I will probs buy like in Halloween event is 1 costume but that is all. At least I know I’ll be getting what I paid for
