Tbh, I don’t mind my character not being the spotlight but rather the story that unwraps around her. I know I’m probably the minority but I feel that Anet should know that there are also players that don’t mind NOT being the ultimate hero. That’s boring. To me. When NPC’s give me unlimited praise non stop, it feels like shoe-licking.

So I’m stuck a bit. I want to get many of those Geodes for the new recipes but I don’t know a sufficient way of getting them. Is repeating Dry Top events the best way to collect them? I have the the instanced story missions, so unless I can repeat them for more I’m bit stuck. Any advice?

Sadly, it really comes of as whoever drew that invested 10 times more skill and time then the current piece of art.

Clearer, and I like the overall style. Not sure if it was ever used.

A lot of GW uses this style indeed. Lots of nicely placed photos and textures if I’m not mistaken.

Dry Top it seems, like in GW1 is a small area that connects Tangle Root with the rest of the Maguuma. Technically it should be just the beginning, and I hope to explore the whole thing by the end of season 2.

Some of my favourite pieces of art work in the game though are the images that come up when you mouse over the different dungeons in LFG.

True that, but those pieces look gazillion times better then the new ones we’ve been getting.

Does everybody like it? I can’t say it strikes my fancy too much. It’s too stylized for my taste, too much visible paint brush strokes all over, so it’s kinda hard to distinguish objects and what’s actually going on in the picture. The other ones in the story instances were just fine but this…I dunno.

It looks like it was done in a rush.

What do you think? I mean it’s nothing game breaking just wanted to point out that maybe this isn’t the best style the should be pushing. The previous ones they used for other zones are fantastic.

It took 3 hours to get 95% of the AP that is not rushing content at all. This was the most pathetic Living Story and for it being the start of Season 2 its hilarious. GG wait 2 weeks relog.

Don’t get me wrong the zone is awesome and I love it but the little amount of stuff you can truly do there that you can’t do elsewhere for either more money or more enjoyment is quite sad. And 3 hours for content that is supposed to last 2 weeks especially it being the first of Season 2 is down right pathetic like I said. I am not in the minority go look at reddit or other forums people are raging at the lack of content.

….Because it’s just the beginning of the season 2 maybe? I wasn’t even expecting a new zone tbh. Just be happy with what you have for once and play something else in the mean time.

I loved it. Love our “DE” characters even more , and can’t wait to see what’s more in store

Well, don’t get too excited. They have horses and mounted dolyaks and loads of other stuff in the concept art that isn’t actually in the game either :P It’s why it is called a “concept”. It doesn’t necessarily have to be in the game.

Though it would be cool. I think somebody data mined some untextured spear models a while ago on reddit.

Since the patch, we (my group) can’t seem to progress Detha in Hall of Champions.

The current exchange ratio is 10 gold 21 silver for 100 gems.

Buying anything for 800 gems equals a little less then 100 gold as it stands.

The price just keeps rising, and I don’t think I can afford such items anymore. So I’m wondering if Anet should make so that the prices are somehow fixed.

I mean how long before you’ll have to give 20 gold for 100 gems? It’s really concerning.

If you don’t log into the game during the two week period, you’ll not be able to unlock the new episode for free, so your alternative is to unlock it through gems.

There has been a change in the way you pick up items. Before it was, example:

Pick up Fiery Greatsword [F] /Pick up Banner of Strenght[F],

now it is just “Pick up [F]”

This will just make things more annoying, and you reduced functionality.

Why? Terrible change!

Same kitten with charr. Dissapointed that they used old faces and made em creepier and put them as “new ones”. Gross.

But if it makes you feel better I managed to create a presentable asura with that 1 new face they added today.

I got one yesterday actually. From a centaur. I think this is my 5th drop from a mob since launch, I won’t count the map completion rewards.

Given the extreme rarity of those drops, you’d think the rewards in those chests would be something magnificent. I usually just get a useless booster/bank express/random crap I dont need.

So this bug came out of the blue today – when you rally pact forces the main assault on Balthazar temple is supposed to start from Pact Rally Waypoint but nothing happened.

These types of bugs with temple events are extremely annoying. Fix them ASAP.

I can argue that male armors look better because they look like they can protect more, while a number of female armors is just there for the eye candy with unnecessary revealing parts.
That’s actually a common complaint.

Not everyone has to appreciate that or is a hetero male, and not everyone plays these characters cuz of same reasons.

The only problem I have with megaserver system is that Tequatl is literally impossible to do now on Desolation, and all temples in Orr are uncontested almost all day. So that kinda sucks the fun out of it, if you can’t really do those events. I really hope Anet can somehow fix this. I really want to run temple events again…

But overall I’m pleased with it.

Is this a bug? Every time I change my outfits the dyes reset Can this be fixed?
