Can we remove this blue glow from the minipets? I bought the pack and I want em to look just like the monsters in the adventure box!
So i was wondering around Kessex hills with friend and found a box, and inside were lots of 8-bit snakes with captain hats Has anybody else found this? Apparently they drop some kind of currency for use in Super Adventure box, maybe for new weapon skins?

Ok, I don’t wanna spread doom and gloom but did something happen to the rate ectos can be salvaged from rare items with the new patch?
I bought a black lion salvage kit for 7 gold and probably wasted all that money because i counted – from 25 salvaged level 80 rares i got only 14 ectos. This never happened before and usually I get really good luck. My brother has noticed the same thing.
Or I just have really, really bad luck? Because I see no point in nerfing something like that. It didn’t feel rewarding this time.
Yes you can still get a rare or exotic or multiples of them from the chest.

So far I’ve gotten only 1 rare from the special new daily chest you get from world boss events. Is there a chance to get more then 1, or even exotic? Considering regular chests, no rares so far so yeah it’s pretty bad in that sense
Well said – I’ve spoken to my guild mates and other people I play with and they’re kinda dissapointed with all the nerfs taking place. “Nerf Wars 2” they said we should call it. Flame and Frost is not intriguing at all, at least so far. Balancing the professions doesn’t mean randomly buffing up strong classes like warrior and screwing engineers which really need more love – I think they were most anticipated class before launch, now they’re severely underplayed all because you can’t fix it from the start.
About the quickness nerf I wouldn’t know about it but I bet it bothers players who rely on it. You can’t just “balance” skills in a way where you’d expect em to work similarly in PvP and PvE. Was it so hard to change only the PvP version of those skills? Like in GW1?
Quit punishing players already. Everything that worked remotely nice you gotta nerf and stomp it to the ground. I don’t mind about most changes but for example my boyfriend gave up on his engineer and started playing guardian because it’s so unreliable and “nobody wants it in dungeons”.
Sometimes I DO wonder if you actually play your game. If you really did you’d notice tons of bugs that need fixing from launch that are still there. I guess adding mouth flapping to NPC-s is something everybody asked and wanted. Who cares about that honestly?
As you said the game is still best MMO i ever played but there is something wrong with how the new content is introduced.

As title says can we please get an increase in HP of Frozen Maw and Jungle Wurm world bosses? They have increased timers now, and Maw has 1 hour spawning window and considering they’re always killed in like 2 seconds, it’s very hard now to time it. With other bosses if you arrive few mins late you can still get the chance to get the reward but with these you gotta camp it non-stop.
So if you decreased their spawn rate, you should have proportionally increased their HP so more players get chance to participate.
Finally something I’ve been looking forward to , buying the name change for my character and if it’s supposed to be added with this new update, I don’t see it anywhere in the gem store ?
Ok so, this is so weird, and I know I didn’t have this sound issue before. I log in today to play a bit and I notice that my character (Charr female) suddenly spams lot of battle cries repeatedly when using skill Hundred Blades with greatsword and I know for certain that didn’t happen before till today. Usually it’s just 1 sound continued by the sound of sword hitting the target but now it’s extremely obnoxious to listen to that… has any1 else noticed this?
Please fix the boss battle track. I spent 2 days finding the most epic songs..got 30 of em just for boss track only to realize it’s not even random so it kinda upsets me

Also would like to add boss battle music does not randomize…I’m sure this is a common problem so could Anet please fix it? I gathered tons of great tracks but it absolutely sucks to hear just one
Won’t this flood the TP with even more ectos? I mean since patch I always get at least 1 rare from the loot chest. If you get a “guaranteed rare” from special new chest and keep the regular boss chests as it was won’t ppl get even more ectos? Maybe I understood something wrong but I hardly doubt this will solve the overflow issue.
Oh and, can we get timers that correctly display the spawns? Like official timer or something. I often get the feeling like the timer is trolling me lol
Can you please let us change the city soundtrack by locations? I decided to leave the default GW2 soundtrack with added new songs from other games but I’d really like if I could change the tracks separately for each main city in the game.

Ye I can’t do most events now because of that. This whole overflow thing is stupid from t he very start, they should have just added multiple districts you can choose from like in GW1, with events happening at the same time. I mean why should for example shadow behemoth spawn in “regular” server but not in overflow? Yea the chests are rewarding now but no use if you can’t even participate now!
Please let us wear these items and future ones in combat. I will never buy town clothes only.
I don’t think that will be a good idea I already see enough of big pink norn everywhere imagine now if they all started wearing bunny hats, boxing gloves and other kitten. Tons of characters run around with pink hair now. This isn’t Aion that turned into a chibi clownfest and Tera, armor and fun clothes should be separated for the sake of the game’s unique art style so many games decide to sabotage with silliness.

So I’ve been running into this problem lately…thing is, I can’t seem to kill Shatterer anymore in the event because every single time I arrive at the waiting spot he’s in the overflow, I don’t remember when was the last time that happened ._.
So basically that’s the issue because when it asks me to travel to Blazeridge Steppes he’s already dead there so not sure how to get a chance now…any1 have the same problem?
I had the same problem before, not with crashing but with the beeping noise. Here is what I did – go to options and put the sound quality slider to medium, that fixed it for me.
It took me whole 20 mins to complete the daily in the past few days and I have not played much at all lately. Hardly difficult imo and much more fun then before. I like how you can choose em
I’d love to see Cantha return. I liked the overall design of that place, it looked 10x better then Prophecies maps, think what kind of majestic Asian architecture they could bring in the GW2. Especially Kaineng city.
Not sure about Elona, it’s crawling with undead so, not really happy about second Orr.
There are many inaccessible areas in current map we have so my guess is first we get to explore em all. I would really really want to see Cantha for the next expansion, and not some made up new continent
This issue has been brought up so many times, and I swear if they actually fix it will be the best thing they fixed so far in the game lol
They should boost drop rates and reward people who actually play/farm a lot or just play casually. I have a friend who just started playing and he already bought tons of gold from the cash shop to buy full exotic set because he’s a lazy type of player and can’t be bothered otherwise.
I’m not sure how much is pure luck or if MF affects anything. Sometimes I get no rares, sometimes I get lots, with MF gear. It’s random at times. They should just remove MF and boost overall drop rates. I hate when I kill lots of mobs at the same time and don’t get anything. Not even junk items, but empty loot. Doesn’t feel rewarding to me..
I think we should be able to craft em. Seriously the prices are ridiculous and anything above 500 gold is insane (not to say that 500g itself is ok…)
They don’t need to change the skill system, but adding new skills in the future like they did with GW1 expansions is kinda expected.
I think it’s bugged. I have gotten everything in that chest, from whites to junk items and..actually no rares lol. I think when you see a chest, there should 100% be a rare – and that’s how it should work imo. Even tho it’s a pointless addition.
So I finished my personal story today, and the last mission definetely has its ups and downs.
For me, it felt a bit rushed and way too easy. Sure, Zhaitan looks awesome and just what an undead dragon should look like but he was brought down way too easy. Even killing claw of Jormag, a dragon champion is more challenging and at least requires some sort of tactic. Wiki describes am as creatures old as the continent itself, and defeating one of them was too easy.
Waiting on the flying ship for champion dragons to attack you was incredibly boring, little to no action.
With Zhaitan he just clings to that tower while you spam 1 key to shoot him. It felt disappointing…no camera action, no nothing :/ At least the epilogue was nice tho.
So my question is for the next elder dragon fight, what do you wish to see?
I hope we can get a harder and more exciting battle, something that will really make it worth and memorable. Maybe some crazy camera action, fighting the dragon up close, even fighting on top of dragon? That would really bring up the feel of their enormous size even if it doesn’t fit a screen. Since it’s an instanced mission, there won’t be hundreds of players there to make it lag. Maybe we can get a real battlefield with armies this time?
And which dragon will be next? I predict Primordus or Jormag. Bubbles is blocking way to Cantha and Krakaltorik to Elona so I guess we’ll fight them last to “unlock” new areas.
Last few days I’ve been getting on occasion ruined plant fibers from resource nodes (mature herbs and verdant herbs) using sturdy Orichalcum Harvesting Sickle, and that never happened before – and it’s not supposed to happen so I’m reporting this bug.

I’m very curious about this. I’m in the slow process of making Sunrise and probably the only thing I don’t quite fancy is the trail effect you leave behind with footsteps. I asked a lot of players in game what they think of it and I was surprised that most of them didn’t like it, few said “I would get it if it were not for this trail effect, I hate it”.
Now I understand you can make Eternity but let’s face it, that is some insane grind and I couldn’t afford to waste additional months just to have 2 swords in 1 without the trail effect. So in your opinion should Anet remove the trail effect, or at least tone it down a bit? If you like it, why? I vote for toning it down a bit.
I’m just amazed that most people still don’t realize you can just revive an NPC or help in reviving from downed state. I was playing my usual way yesterday and a player approached me and asked me if I could go in downed state so he can get his achievement…I just told him you can revive a bunch of dead NPC-s there, and he said “ohh I didn’t know!”.
This is what happens when you don’t read properly. The achievement clearly states “reach out to help an ally”, which is a broad term and does not involve only dead players. Hence so many come to kitten about it on the forum because they don’t read the description properly.
I have this idea, and I’m sure others thought about it already. Wouldn’t it be nice if we could actually make some use of the junk items we get instead of throwing them to vendor for trash? No, I’m not talking about weekly scavenge like Nick’s hunts from GW1, but rather turning in a certain number of junk items for crafting materials.
Why couldn’t I turn in 100 Shocking Crystals for 1 Charged Lodestone, or 50 Porous Bones for any T6 mat? If vendors can accept any kind of useless thing, maybe it would be wise to implement a special NPC that exchanges junk items for crafting materials. Making a system like this would make grinding in the game much more, should I say, enjoyable? It would certainly help in my opinion. What do you think?

I could kitten for every single huge pink Norn or big male Charr in PINK spiky armor, half naked female character or for matter of fact every player with a ridiculous looking set of armor in all colors I see around but I don’t because I accept other peoples tastes. Worry and pay attention to what YOU wear and look like, not what others do. Just because you don’t like something doesn’t mean anybody is forcing that thing down your throat. You’re not seeing it on a regular basis unlike some other things I mentioned. I’m also probably minority for not liking the quagann backpack but many people have it and I won’t write a thread on the forum just because I don’t like a certain minor visual aspect of this huge game. Here, design a bow with a mustache that shoots hairy fists, maybe then it will be manly enough for you :P

No it’s not. That’s your opinion entirely and every1 I know in the game enjoys it. It’s not boring anymore so please don’t nerf it
It doesn’t actually. Raw materials are usually worth more per piece than refined ones. So, non-crafters refining their previously sold raw materials are losing money in the long run.
And we loose tons of silver daily just by traveling around by waypoints and still manage to make up for it easily. The cost for crafting 10 items, be it level 0 in which case it costs you 20 copper – 2 silver or refining ore/wood is minimal compared to other money sinks like waypoints and repair costs. My god I don’t even want to think how much gold went on that. There is no point arguing about it anymore really. Nighty night.

No, it’s not about a money issue. Non-crafters that don’t enjoy crafting aren’t relishing having to take up something they dislike if they want to earn their laurels on a given day. Stubborn or not, this is something they didn’t want to do. When it’s all said and done, they may not have to if the implementation of daily choice is eventually added, but that may take a month or more and in the meantime, that particular daily task is a requirement for earning a laurel for that day.
So that’s it then it’s just about being stubborn. Crafting level 0 items is easy, cheap and it goes hand to hand with other achievement that has been here since release, daily gather. Well how do you complete daily without gathering stuff? You only gather high level stuff? Well good just refine them. Yes raw materials cost more but the loss in minimal. It goes to your profit in any case. Sacrificing 10 mithirl ore daily at most won’t hurt your income at all.

Refusing to spend few minutes and few silver (and only if by some rare chance you don’t have anything in your bank) daily to complete an achievement? Are you trying to force people into WvWvW? You realize it’s not for everyone, I personally dislike pvp in this game. Isn’t there a “PVP daily” you can add this garbage to? The 50 kills for the monthly is bad enough.
Take it easy. Reviving NPC-s count and there are always tons of em around. You don’t have to revive dead people, just help with rallying.

Not for the dailies, specifically, no. She’s talking about money spent specifically to complete a daily that is above and beyond the cost of crafting tools. This additional cost is to what I was referring.
And I agree with you. The lack of logical responses regarding the crafting concerns presented is indeed absurd.
You know what I honestly find absurd? Complaining about having to spend max 2 silver daily to complete the craft.
I just gave you one example, there are tons of other recipes not just cooking.
For this particular one it’s just 20 copper daily. If that’s much then really. And it’s a level 0 craft. Takes 5 seconds to make… i fail to see how this doing same boring daily every day beats this

Non-crafters don’t want to have to take up a craft they have no interest in doing.
Crafters don’t want to needlessly waste materials.
Good point but you only have to spend 1 silver for level 0 crafts and even less. Craft piles of cinnamon and sugar, 10 sugar is 10 copper (on TP, from vendors its 80 copper) an if I remember correctly 1 cinnamon stick is 1 copper. You can craft em right away, and the cost is miniscule, and it’s not a time waste.
