Okay I know a lot of people really dislike Scarlet, so I was thinking, how could Anet make her more popular, and something occurred to me.
What would happen if Scarlet killed Trahaerne in a future LS?
Would that make you like her more?
i would love to see her with a bag on her shoulder, giving away presents while wearing a red costume

If you are going for full support Nature´s Voice and Spotter are the most important ones.
I would go for cleric or apothecary gear and 2x Traveler, 2x Monk, 2x Water runes for a total of +75% boon duration. This means PERMA Regen and Swiftness for your party.I don´t really like Spirits so i would go for Guard, SoW and Muddyterrain or smth.
/e: and go for sigil of battle… you can keep 12 Might stacks.

a pretty much weaker version of the build i run atm. i think ppl like xorus will be the first who come up with something similar.

i want that all the chars i create share the same level as my main. if enough ppl start crying arena will always grant our wishes …. absolute hate this change.
baruch makes it pretty easy to gain a lot of points from stomping. rs on the other hand give us great fights. would love to see more small scale groups from both sides.one is for sure u are currently #1 in t1 in not from ppt. seriously gj & gz @ the small scale ppl :-)

OdS? Are you joking? we fought these guys 2 days before. they were 6 thiefes and we 1 warrior, 1 engineer and 1 ranger. everyone of them lied 2-3 times on the floor ( 6 thiefes stadow refuge rezz is pretty annoying and sic em has a 40sec cd )
as the fight progresses we had 2 adds of our server mates and they finally died.
if the thread title says: most annoying guild – OdS would be my bet to ^^
they also should cut the costs for 1handed weapons if 2handed can keep 2 sigils

Does “not from ticks” mean just the points from stomping?
I wonder if this really reflects player skill or just that there aren’t as many players on kodash to be stomped…
hehe nice theorie the points are from dolyak killing, points capturing and stomping. recapture points means that your enemy has captured them from you so there souldnt be a big gab from points getting from this source. dolyaks must be nearly the same amount of points on each side.
i think it is the lack of players during the offtimes on kodash and the strong play of the small scale guilds that always hold 1-2 bloodlust buffs. less players means also less fokused ae dmg to kill downstated ppl with pure dmg. we have to stomp.
one more big difference to other servers is, that kodash has 4-5 absolute great small scale guild that run group sizes of 3-10 people. other server run in 20-25 man groups ( we have some to but far less then eg elona reach )

If the opposition’s dumb enough to stay in the roots for 7s, you probably didn’t need to pop an elite to win the fight…
they have no other option when all their stunn breaker and condition removals are on cd
i run with 40% condition duration, so entangle will stack 1,4sec imobilize every 1 sec. if arena puts a limit of max stacks at around 5x that will make → 5*1,4=7sec. entangle will lose a lot of its effectivity

Agreed, the area looks amazing but the reason to go there is underwhelming (standing in 5 circles). Thinking even the quaggan/krait pearl/weather node was more interesting than standing in the ruins.
Lot’s of improvements are possible in that beautiful area.
yeah, why dont we increase the stat gain to 50/bloodlust buff you own and the stomp points to 1 per boon. that would be an awesome reason to hold the ruins and to fight for them … wait…?
perplexity runes: let your pet do the work while you sit it out
immobilize: sword 3, dagger 4, sb 3
p/d thief: sick em, pet with fear, pet with knock down
phantasm mesmer: axe 1 in a power build
conditoin necro: condition signet, emphatic bound, healing spring
power/toughness/reg warrior with high condition remove and movement and cc and all and greater than all noob build what ever: i use the asura elite attack golem and the asura radiation field combined with the fire field, a spider pet ( wolf as backup ), and muddy terrain. when i time it right they melt.
we take every outnumbered fight till 5on15. all above becomes troublesome because of the aoe limit that hits us very hard and the cc overkill we suffer more from in a small scale encounter. when i am solo i also engage every group of 3 ppl and win a lot of these engages. so dont tell me kodash runs away.
yep, then a server makes itself a 500 points projection and leaves wvw for the whole week. very good solution ^^

its is the same with individual process with the skill points. they are not account wide. i have 500 skill points on my ranger. why shoud my lvl 41 thief also get them?
wxp and world rank are good as they are ( i prefered the non existing system )
i run my very own build. my armor is full celestial, weapons are apo, accessior is a mixture of celestial, apo and rabid. 0 10 30 30 0. with power stacking and might stacking i acive around 2k power, 1,2k condition dmg, 52% crit chance and 38% crit dmg. nice alrounder with 2800armor 23000hp and 75% boon duration to stack protection, regeneration, might, swiftness and fury pretty much permanent up.
i run with 22k health and have absolute no problems with conditions. 3 conditions taken away by my pet every 10 sec + 1 condition every 2 sec on demand make us pretty tough. necros have a hard time again rangers, same for engineers. our movement is by far better than theirs so we are able wo sit the conditions out while regeneration massive hp and our pet sill damaging them

both would be a defensive addition. we dont lack defence, offense is our weakness. i would like both to be honest and dont think that the skills would become more powerfull then the 2hand sword skills of a warrior. but like mentioned before. both adds wouldnt make the weapon more viable in a offensive view.
You make it sound like I have a choice against who we would play… We are a 5 -10 man guild and the most important thing for us is to have Fun and a good fight. We do not play on EB and we will not join the 1 spammers. I don t give a kitten about the score in the end. But if I wanted to be called a number 1 Server, I would start to show some balls. Every day we meet Vizu grps that outnumber us but will not engage. They will retreat on to the bridge or closer to their tower and wait till they get even more. It s not enough that you have 12 vs 8. You wait till you have 20 people and basicly force us to retreat. I agree Vizunah is the most Disciplined and best organised Server that has crossed our path but dmn are you unwilling to have anything close to a challening fight.

I am not happy with this situation but let’s face it this is what is in place for close to one year now.
i remember a fight ( we 2x ranger, 1x thief, 1x guard and 1x mesmer ) vs a very successful gvg guild from elona ( they around 20 people ) we have downed their eles a few times, also a necro ( couldnt stomp them of course ). after around 5 minutes they retreated and went away to cap some camps. they did not bring down a singel of my comrades. must be very disapointing for the crosshair following zombies
why are you afraid of naming your guild on vizu? im pretty sure we can handle your group setup at a same size or us with less ppl and ranger + engi + thief in the group to show you how viable the medium armor classes are
And especially since I’m more of a solo roamer, I’m not getting any of these major objective caps.
run from keep to keep, kill 2-3 guards and wait till you your zerg does the rest while you do your roaming thing. no need to grind the large objectives

Opening Strike – add: cannot be blocked
Alpha Training – good as it is
Precise Strike – add: +50% crit dmg <- that will make Remorseless more viable
Skirmishing:
Honed Axes – Add a cool down reduction or a 4th bounce to ricochet. Axe is way to weak as it is now.
Wilderness Survival:
Shared Anquish – the cooldown is way to high. it does proc a single time in a fight and disables 40% of your damage for 2sec + the way the pet has to run back to its target. I would suggest to add stability for 2-3 sec on a 45 – 60 sec cooldown.
Nature Macig:
good as it is
Beastmastery:
Instinctual Bond – “when you are downed” traits are all absolute crap (sry) going down is not an option. instead you need something that prevents going down like: when you reach 20% life, your pets next attack will knock its target down. recharge 30 sec.
Master’s Bond – good as it is. the problem with this trait is that it does reset when you go swimming. change it for something like: 5% of your toughness and 3% of your vitality is transfered as power, precision, toughness and vitality to your pet. with 1800 toughness and 1400 vitality that makes permanent 132 stat points ( now it has 250 at max )
one more thing: axe mh has by far the weakest auto attack of all classes / weapons. in spvp most of the fights are vs 1 enemy. 2/3 of the weapons power is wasted there. why dont you add something like, when the weapon cant bounce to a second and/or third enemy, it bounces back to you and grants a random boon for 2 sec. or simply double the dmg again a single enemy.
less protection uptime will be one of the main reasons for the nerf.
Ranger:
For the ranger, we’ve adjusted the placement of some traits so that rangers should have more build combinations. For example, by swapping Nature’s Vengeance and Spirits Unbound so that rangers can have spirits follow you in tier 2, players can now opt out of the higher damage output from spirits and still have options elsewhere. We also brought up some Marksmanship and a Skirmishing trait to make power specs more appealing. We feel like rangers also currently have too much endurance regeneration through traits. Due to this, we’ve made adjustments to Wilderness Survival traits, and we’ve also brought down the passive of Sun Spirit and the active effect for Storm Spirit.
- Long Range Shot. Increased the damage at 500 range by 20%.
- Long Range Shot. Increased the damage at 500-1000 range by 15%.
- Marksmanship V – Predator’s Instinct. Increased the threshold from 25% to 50%. Increased the Cripple Duration from 2s to 10s. Increased the cooldown from 15s to 30s.
- Marksmanship VI – Beastmaster’s Bond. Decreased the cooldown from 90s to 60s.
- Skirmishing XII – Moment of Clarity. Stun Duration increased from 50% to 100%.
- Wilderness 5 Natural Vigor. Reduced the increased endurance regeneration from 50% to 25%.
- Wilderness VIII – Oakheart Salve. Decreased the recharge of this trait from 20s->15s
- Wilderness XII – Bark Skin Increased the damage reduction from 30% to 50%.
- Nature Magic I – Circle of Life. Cleared up the text of this trait to clearly identify that it happens when downed, not defeated.
- Nature Magic V – Strength of Spirit. Increased conversion from 5% to 7%
- Nature Magic IX – Two Handed Training. Added the following functionality to this trait. Greatsword and Spear attacks have a chance to grant Fury on hit. 50% chance. 3s Fury. 10s cooldown.
- Nature Magic X – Enlargement. This trait now uses Signet of the Wild to trigger. This reduces the cooldown to 60 seconds and allow it to interact with the Signet of the Beastmaster and Signet Mastery traits.
- Nature Magic VII – Nature’s Vengeance. Moved to Grandmaster Tier.
- Nature Magic XI – Spirits Unbound. Moved to Master Tier.
- Beastmastery VI – Mighty Swap. The might from this trait is now applied to you and your pet.
- Sun Spirit. Reduced the passive burning from 3s to 2s.
- Storm Spirit. Reduced the damage from the Call Lightning skill by 33%.

my topic, as a full time ranger player of course is the ranger. i want to adress traits that are lacking power and are not viable:

Ranger. At least thieves are excellent scouts, tappers, supply disruptors and have very useful blast ability, engi can shine in small-scale roaming squads. Rangers are underperforming everywhere, sadly
i need to upgrade my pc and record some videos. the thinking that rangers are bad became a disease.
u have to stay with the pain train for condition remove, your pet has to be a spider infight coz itll stay out of the aoe focus of your enemy.
