I see the potential viability these “sub-classes” for lack of a better word, but will it change much? I see giving existing weapons to the professions changing the way we play a bit, but im not sure, especially in the Necromancer’s case. It has been factually proven that not only the Necro has no viable skills mainly in group content, but it has suffered almost every skill had some kind of class breaking nerf since launch. So with the intro to the Revenant and whatever it specialization it has, even in hindsight it seems like it out Necos the necro (Edit, almost every class out performs the necro especially the engineer.). My worry is will this specialization will even change the way necro is now, or will we just look towards the Rev. Thanks for reading.

I agree with you to a certain degree, it’s nice to be excited for the expansion but blasting Anet for giving not enough info is kinda unreasonable. I do see where you are coming from though, Anet tends to go the “we can’t talk about that right now” PR talk when it comes to certain situations and it’s annoying when they do that. Im sure they don’t want to repeat the Occupy SAB situation again, so it’s up to them really.

Your first problem was spending probably hundreds of gold on gear and runes. The meta of going to change, so complaining about it won’t help. As for the meta itself, it needs to change. Now builds will be more than Precision, power, and ferocity.

Im not sure if this bug is just for me, but its been happening for a few days now. On occasion especially in the Silverwaste the music would cut almost immediately

Hopefully the expansion fixes the problem currently with Specializations, but even then I don’t have much hope Necros will be viable again until the core issues are addressed ie; DS, Flesh golem bug and health siphoning are the critical examples.

Well, Foot in the Grave shouldn’t have been a GM trait to begin with now the devs just gave you one more reason not to use it.

It’s kinda the same issue with LA still broken and Kessex Hills with the tower. I’m sure Anet wants to change them for the new players who cleared Orr, blew up the tower in Kessex and killed you-know-who in LA’s breach without taking away the experience from the new players. That being said a separate instance of the map prior to the events happening would be a bit of a problem seeing the scale of the maps themselves plus the possible file size you’d get if it did happen.

I’m not sure if anyone got this nor do I care to go back and check. Ahem, : Black\Dark Magician. Reason why I say this is we already have enough minions with their respected skills, spectral and corruption. What we really lack is the ability to create our own boons at the same creating a good amount of boon stripping. Thieves and Mesmers have such a skill, why can’t we?.

I agree with suggestion, thought I would like minion to actually teleport to the enemy prior to dying and applying the poison field instead of dying on the spot and leaving an unused field where you have to kite the enemy to that particular spot. I also would agree to take that 25% decrease in auto attack dps in favor of more control over the minions. I just restarted running MM after running a few builds including the meta powermancer build and MM seems like my personal favorite.
