To be fair, the pro league players i know usually experiement on different builds all the time. I highly doubt it would be like oh noes revs suck now and our rev can’t play anything else. I actually think finals might turn out most exciting thing compared to snooze fest we had for months now.

It was definitely weird, i had couple matches that were rather strange but overall it was mostly ruby/diamond vs ruby/diamond (hit diamond finally on vanilla dp teef woohoo) so i think it is working more or less in “populated” divisions.

I am surprised some people complain about nerfs when Op clearly said his suggestions are mostly nerfs. I do agree with OP overall that we need massive nerfing across all classes (yes even thieves in some areas) to cure the power creep we have atm. I find a lot of suggested changes reasonable actually.

It’s funny but it is the concept of a chronomancer. It isn’t fair but if you put a single condition the concept will break.
Not trying to be too salty here but just an example: thieves are supposed to be master of shadows, stealth etc. Yet scrappers are better at it atm. Then thieves are also supposed to be deadly in 1v1 combat but they can’t 1v1 to save their live – Anet throws their own concepts out of the window whenever it pleases them.

Also, it’d be cool if they nerfed Unrelenting Assault’s damage (especially since it’s a defensive and offensive combined skill) but added a functionality where the skill deals 25-50% increased damage when it hits a unique target from the previous strike (or alternatively, deals reduced damage when it strikes the same target more than once in a row, though that clashes with the skills name) so that the skill becomes a better cleave skill and doesn’t need excessively high damage to justify the skill hitting multiple targets.
Also I agree with moving damage from their AA to Sword 2.

Why can’t we merge the eu and na servers so that the player pool is bigger? I know that might result in latency issues but isn’t there a system that estimates player inputs that could reduce that discrepancy?
Oh there would be such huge issue like with guild halls. If you have players from eu and na in your guild and for example NA player in in guild hall, then EU players get insta booted out of instance if they try to enter same guild hall. They would have to change how instances work for it~
I could see the issue in pve but finding players in tyria has never been a pronlem. I was thinking it should be implemented for pvp only.

Actually it’s probably worse for everyone except the legend players. I’ve been solo queueing and i have a pretty amazing win ratio right now. im 15-2 and the 2 losses were due to disconnects.

it is all fine in 1v1 situation, except pvp is about team play and it is not THAT easy to see what he does in the aoe spam… i am not even going to mention trapper rune~

I noticed over course of past months that every time there is new patch comming i get insane lag (up to 3k ms) in pvp maps which is very easily traced to anet servers (see screenshot). If you going to release patch like this at least disable ranked for the time being so people don’t get sudden surprise lag spikes in matches (League does it a lot). Or at least make an in-game warning that lag spike are possible on certain dates.
P.S. those red lines at bottom chart are 100% packet los.

… in Machor’s Leap that continously kill NPCs and don’t let events at Lyssa temple fail (but you need to fail events for HOPE IV collection) despite all the attempts of pursuating them not to do so. Something everyone is also forgetting:
The auto attacks need to not require a target to use otherwise any form of stealth class will shut it down very easily, especially if they keep the majority of the AoE as it is. Long and visible wind up which you’d have to be blind not to be able to walk out of.
Then air needs to stop being channeled because it follows you in stealth very well.

I haven’t done much pvp if any at all until xmas (due to thief being in rather not fun place atm, bugs etc.), then i started to queue for ranked and went through amber-emerald-saphire quite fast. I don’t recall having long queue time nor absurd matches like this. Obviously there were some amber shoppers but not like this lol.

I think gw2 could be esport but if they didn’t neglect pvp so badly after launch where probably majority of pvpers quit. Then we just had fail experiment after fail on pvp system. I am not even going to start on terrible class balance right now. All that extra AOE spam and passives added with HoT made issue so much worse. I played this game for years and even i can’t tell most of the time wth is going on on stream due to visual clutter.
You need playerbase for esports, idk why they don’t understand it.
