i don’t know what black hole people are playing in, but i see norn, human, char, and sylvari all the time in pvp.
Not true, its still harder to see the following:
- Enemies animations.
- Enemies in Terrain.
- Enemies inside combo fields.
- Enemies hiding in minions.
- Enemies hiding in giant particle effects.
- Harder to see if there dodging or using regular attacks, because honestly they do crazy flip kicks.
It still has a huge advantage, even if you are one as well.

Not to be a devil’s advocate, but:
Your Defensive Utility sounds like a worse version of Aegis, taking its own cool-down onto account and the fact you would have to sacrifice an attack to block making it much worse.
Your Offensive Utility, buffing our Max HP and making us take more damage for critical chance? I have too much already, this would be a worthless utility nobody uses, because its simply not worth what you give up for it. We need more sustain, not less.

I actually think that looks good, realistic as well.
A mostly African does have burnt patches of skin on certain parts of there body, there hands are also whitish as well.

I like your suggestions a lot, but not f3 that much. I’d found it better if it would be -20% dmg for 5-7 seconds or something like that. It can be easily abused if you put a duration of 20 seconds, which even stacks up. That can turn into unkillable warrior while doing 10k evis’ and 3k autoattacks.
(It’s just my opinion, as I played 4 months warrior with about 2.5k games)

Warriors are absolutely horrible in the current Meta, they lack any sort of survivability and sustain and get locked and shut down, giving them there own way to absorb damage would assist them in getting to where they need to be and staying on the target, they need both this and the ability to reliable remove conditions as well. They also cannot be the same as he guardian either.

What if he had full zerker? There is only a 180 armor difference between thief and warrior…

So you are comparing an adrenaline skill that snares you on the floor and can be avoided very easy with a skill that can 1hit kill you from stealth…

yey.. so we can use 3 swings to do the dmg as a 1 backstab… GREAT.
how ever, you first need to be able to hit something to get that chain hitting dmg…
dunno if you have a cheating program to see thru stealth… but i have no clue what so ever about where to swing, if the thief decides to play stealth and toy with you.

I would go for that, if Healing Signet was a Utility slot. Currently Guardian heal is 2x better, especially if traited up.
F2 Shield sounds like AOE Aegis, except a lot worse with the changes coming to weakness. (since it only blocks 3 attacks, it will be OP in PvE/UP in PvP) We are not trying to be Psedo Guardians.
Healing Surge sounds better then Healing Signet in almost every way. However it is just a crappy version of Hide in Shadows, except it doesn’t stealth you and cure all conditions. Maybe if it cured 3 conditions, gave 6 seconds of protection.

Currently impossible.
Roll a BM-Boon+Toughness Ranger and use 2 axes, you will be super tanky and pull out a lot of DPS.
In fact atm in the current Meta, because of retaliation, Axe 5 can kill you. You can literally kill yourself faster then an enemy can. Axe 1 also out damages Axe 5 too.
Last time I played my Necro and played against an X/Axe Warrior, my retaliation did 9960 damage to him… lol

These are all Grandmaster traits, they allow the Elementalist to focus on one Attunement.
Fire:
Master of Fire
Reduce the cooldown on all fire attunement skills by 60%.
Increases the cooldown for all non-fire attunement skills by 100%.
In addition, gain might for 15 seconds every 3 seconds, as long as you are attuned to fire.
Air:
Master of Air
Reduce the cool-down on all air attunement skills by 60%.
Increases the cooldown for all non-air attunement skills by 100%.
In addition, gain fury for 15 seconds every 15 seconds, as long as you are attuned to air.
Water:
Master of Water
Reduce the cool-down on all water attunement skills by 60%.
Increases the cooldown for all non-water attunement skills by 100%.
In addition, Applying a boon to allies heals you while attuned to water.
Earth:
Master of Earth

We should also be able to choose our 5/15/25 traits as well, these are what breaks most builds from working since they only benefit one thing.
Simplifying it won’t do anything, I think it needs to be more complex.
Well it seems that both of us agree that traits in the current state need a rework.
Actually there are only 5\6 out of 12 traits on every line that are worth it using while the others are left back.
We only have 2 different points of view on how to fix this:
I am suggesting to simplify things, while you are suggesting to add complexity and make the trait choice harder.
While I could agree with you, I also know that complexity is very hard to balance and we know how long it takes for A-Net to balance things, that’s why I am aiming to the other way.
I also think that before wasting time on adding new and complicated things that eventually will require more time to balance out, A-Net should rework the already existing traits and only then should start adding new things.
When the game was released 10 months ago, there were only 10 trait per line if I remember well, then A-Net added 2 more traits on every line for a total of 12.
The problem is that many of those traits that were added later, seems to be there just to fill that spot but there is a bad design behind them.
In the end I don’t mind if A-Net would follow the more complexity path or the more semplicity way to fix the problem, I just want to see more balance between traits and a lot of different balanced builds .
I actually dislike balanced games actually. I like it when everyone has something a little unique and unbalanced. I feel that we will never achieve perfect balance and anyone who seeks it might as well say: we should just make one class with all the same abilitys.
Unfortunately, this isn’t the case, so the balance argument cannot win. We can simply make it as balanced as possible, or perfect imbalance.

That is exactly why its getting nerfed, its playstyle simply trumps everything else in pvp/pve. (its a horrible playstyle), but when mobs stand still its just extremely stupid to have it holding back an entire class, just because it just trumps everything else. Other classes deserve a spot in PvE as well, Warriors will have there spot too still, it just won’t be tied to one thing.

I’d support hundred blades getting a projectile relfect hell outside of tank and spank pve fight hundred blades has zero uses. Hundred Blades is a horribly designed skill.
