Healing Power is a statistic, but the active heal from the Signet is not a stat akin to Power or Precision.
The actual description by the devs was that the 10+1 per level bonuses are now 20+2 per level, making the 90-stat bonuses effectively 180-stat bonuses. Nothing more.

In all honesty, this is a pretty bad suggestion. You are talking about being able to regenerate 100% of your health in less than 1 minute at max adrenaline. This would stream line the class even further into not using adrenaline more so than it is right now, while we should be pushed in the reverse.

Warrior Signet only heals for 200, making it 400 would make it a lot better and more balanced to its other heals. Warriors need more sustain and this would bring there healing of signets to other classes.
I heard they were doubling all of them which is good, but I wasn’t sure by if it just meant stats, because a lot of healing on signets need work. Doubling the passives would help a lot of classes and make more viable builds.

@Mr.big – You’re describing a completely different build that isn’t “simply variations of the same water/arcana build” (your words). That build has dps, but nowhere near the surviability that comes with bunker water/arcane builds.

It’s a simple variation.
You’re sitting with the same toughness, slight less ( 100 less) healing power than standard “semibunker” valk ele.
You simply don’t have renewing stamina , and have less cantrips slotted.
You are dishing out huge damage, have huge survivability ( ten times better than standard glass cannons), 80% of your damage is AoE, you’re great 1vs1 ( in some cases even 1vs2), you give your team one of the best ( if not the best) support, you can burst kinda like a glass cannon ( not saying that glass cannons can’t dish out more damage, but they’re sacrificing A LOT MORE than ele) .
Same build, same traits, same amulets, just slight different trait location and U-skill choice.
The ele is the best class in the game, hands down. It’s not a jack of all trade, it’s a master of everything.
There’s no point in having any other direct damage dealer, an ele can do easily thief/war/power engie job.

I played wvw this morning and I didn’t die once, except the 80 man zerg that caught me with shadowstep and refuge down from a previous fight.
I was able to easily take a supply camp while killing a wells necro, glass d/d ele, and crap ranger. All were 80, they just weren’t very good players. All while guards and supply camp veteran boss trying to kill me as well.
I lived simply because of blind field and the ability to stealth whenever I wanted…

If IoS is a minor, there will be problems with perma-blind in combination with Cloaked in Shadows and OP condition removal in combination with Shadow’s Embrace.

Believe me, i’ve tried everything.In pvp it doesn’t work. Real pvp is about bursting people down and avioding damage all together. I don’t think healing food would change that. Possibly faster endurance regen, better shild blocking and a fix to endure pain. Maybe more ways to remove conditions, without using shouts would be a better fix for pvp.
See that is whats wrong with this world, its all about hitting those immunity buttons and screwing people with burst damage.
Its no longer about timing skills to get the most of them, planning attacks, or abusing fun traits/items/mechanics and making yourself look better. Its just who can dodge/burst down there enemy faster! Isn’t it fun! (NO… why do you think everyone complains about PVP!?)

Once you steal you should gain all ‘3’ of your enemies utility slots, they would be one-time use. (Once you use them they go grey, have no cool-down but one time use only).
F2=Utility Slot 1.
F3=Utility Slot 2.
F4=Utility Slot 3.
For example, if I stole from a trap ranger and they had three traps on there utility bar, I would gain all three of those traps ‘1’ time until I stole from them again.

Now it’s still a good choice, but other foods get a look in, and I actually have to either sacrifice DPS, or rely on my group to keep me up. This feels right.

If you mean WvW. I know quite a few warriors in WvW that would argue with that. Warriors can be awesome if set up correctly. Giving good healing to both themselves and the zerg or decent buffing. While still doing great damage. If you are wanting to launch yourself into the enemy Zerg and survive your just asking to much. No class can do that. But Warriors definitely have enough survivability to hit the out runners, put down 2 or 3 people and get out before dying.
If you mean sPVP, you can’t use food so it doesn’t matter.

I don’t know how anybody could come to the conclusion that warriors are the “worst class in the game” given that a) they have the highest DPS of any class proportional to survivability and b) one of the most widely played classes.
We don’t see people asking to buff warriors. We see people asking to buff engineers/rangers/necros though. Warriors aren’t even dependent on lifesteal food unless you play berserker everything outfitted with ruby orbs with no defensive traits.
Oh, and hammer warriors wreck in WvW. Easily one of the best classes.
My warrior can hit for 9999 damage as long as my opponents stand there and take it and don’t use buffs like protection/dodge.
High DPS isn’t all its cut out to be if you can never hit with it.

The problem with more Warrior healing traits is that it needs to take into account the various ways warriors have heals from other sources; that’s the problem with the balance…it would need a reduction in say Adrenaline Health or Shout Healing/Banner Regen frequency. There is nothing wrong with the idea per se except it would likely need an internal cooldown or it falls into the realm of lifesteal food/Whirling Axe issues with heals on crit procs (bleeds/vulns/etc. all within the same Arms line).
Finally, Furious isn’t a horrible talent even if grandmaster (but it would be better if Furious was the baseline grandmaster 25 in Discipline though instead of Versatile Power).
Why? All those moves suffer from confusion/retaliation the same. Why do you need to reduce the other healing abilities? The Warrior sacrifices critical bonus (damage.) and Power for all that survivability. Just like other classes have the option to do.
The /real/ problem with Omnomberry Pie is that you could go full damage and get that survivability, this gives you worse survivability while sacrificing all your damage.
People could just go full zerker and heal for max, and spec for all power/critical damage and do tons of damage.
Altruistic Healing does not have an internal cool-down, and it is fairly balanced, it probably would heal for more then this trait because you don’t need a target for it and allies and enemies don’t move out of your circles. You could argue that guardians need more healing, however I think Warriors should out heal guardians since they don’t have virtues (Passive Procs/Healing/Effects.) and don’t have protection or very much if not any condition removal.
ANet hates, despises, and frankly wants to smash (without breaking how classes were built from the ground up) any bunker builds. Healing additions with any form would come at cost from somewhere else.
You’re correct, Altruistic Healing does not have an internal cooldown but all other Guardian boon creations now do (what it procs from). Altruistic Healing was so imbalanced than when ANet realized it, they nerf-’hammer’ed Vigorous Precision. I used to play a Guardian and still occasionally do – trust me, it was night and day in levels of survivability kitten I can survive an army on me, to oh now, need to actually watch my health and limit my targets attacked).
Note, I do agree that there is room for improvement on Warrior survivability but this is not a balanced means to do it. I would argue that Retaliation Boon (defensive punishment) is the way to do it but that is for a different thread.
They start removing playstyles then they also start drowning there player-base. Anet needs to step back and actually look at what there players want.

I reckon that’s pretty OP, you’d be essentially getting another master trait (replacing the previous useless trait). I believe it should be replaced with “3 sec reveal” which is reasonable considering anet is most likely reverting the reveal nerf regardless.

Consider this:
Necromancers have several traits that steal health. Yet unless you piled on all of them and got multiple mobs to stand a stack of wells for the full duration you could not get better performance than simply popping a omnom and banzai the same mobs. This even tho it would only proc on 2/3 of the crits.
Elementalist with all his tricks and burst heals can get about 900 hps. (without omnom pies!)
Guardian with his virtues/regens/symbols can almost get up to 650ish-1000 hps, with regeneration even more. (without omnom pies!)
Necromancers get 150 health every time there minions hit something and everytime they hit something, and there minion steals 976 health every 2 seconds. That is almost 750 HPS, the same amount of health my warrior got with omnomberry pies. (without them!)
Warriors have NO condition removal compared to these classes. Yet they have only 200 hps compared to them, that is almost 4-5x less healing abilities. They have the worst of both worlds.
Protection CAN last forever for necro/guardian/ele if you play them correctly.

Warrior healing isn’t fine at all. They go down way too easy and this was the only thing really keeping them up.
Until I get the same protection in some way, I’m probably going to make a new thread about Critical food, or bump it every 15 days.
As many have said before, stop going full Berserker’s and build some Knight’s or Soldier’s. Warriors have the highest innate survivability of every class in GW2. Highest base HP, and highest base armor (heavy armor), and a myriad of condition removes (especially if Soldier runes are used).

Toughness doesn’t help against poison/bleeding/confusion.
I’ve never ran full zerker’s before. I’m usually at 3k Armor.
Toughness/Armor is nothing compared to protection. Protection protects for more then armor does.
Thing about protection is that it is a straight up 1/3 damage reduction. Had it been a toughness or armor boost like might is to power, it would have a diminishing effect as your inherent armor got higher. This because to halve incoming damage you need to double armor. 1000 to 2000, 2000 to 4000 and so on.
Basicly, toughness sucks. Protection is better in almost every way.
Technically most classes with protection have way more armor then the warrior, almost double! :> The difference between light/heavy classes is only 200 toughness.
