I’m pretty sure when devs sort out this terrible condi meta, this signet will receive a nerf hammer hit. It is so lame, requires as much skill to properly use as it takes to put it on action bar and never acrivate, but it’s necessary for warriors to have some sustain – as they are supposed to be.
I want to have these rocket jumps and leaps available on my thief, as we have only ugly restricted and extremly unreliable shadowsteps.

There shouldn’t be two reset periods. All things should reset when the daily does. JPs, rich nodes, vegetable farms, etc. No reason to have a real 24 for anything. ‘Especially’ when you tie JPs into the daily achievements.
That’s right. If I enter Obsidian sanctum (my favourite daily JP) at night, for example 22:00, I can’t claim the finals chest the next day in the morning or evening. I have to wait for the 24h reset. That means, sooner or later I will have to wait 2 days, as my personal reset will be so late at night, that I won’t bother going there.
The daily reset at 1 am is fine, and I was thinking about WvW jumping puzzle. Didn’t know these 2 have separate rules of resetting, which aren’t good in my opinion.
I would suggest resetting jumping puzzles timers at 3 am every day, because comming all way up just to find already opened chest is sad. I don’t think there would be many people trying to abuse it to claim double rewards for a single run (maybe people from US playing on EU servers and vice versa), but if you are worried, make chests impossible to reopen for the next few hours.

This signet is the only utility in game, which actually punishes you for activating it. Well, Haste is on pair with it, but as opposed to the signet, you shouldn’t even put it on your utility bar (unless you are a masochist).
Still, assassin’s signet a very powerful tool for PvE, as it gives a lot of passive damage.

The only thing which is really broken and an insult are players like you, who give up at the very beginning of a tournament (even 5vs5, making it 4vs5) and afk for the entire match.

It’s not a problem with Lyssa, it’a a problem with other runes being so underpowered and meaningless.
PvP doesn’t require tons of fresh content every month. It follows other rules than PvE.
People who PvP want achievements, titles and ranks to brag about, a few skins would be nice too. However, the rank system we have now is not really good; not only because it can be easly exploited with Skyhammer, but because it has no real rewards, and gaps between ranks at higher levels are one big unpleasant grind rather than an achievement.
It would be so kitten awesome to have an achievement like Battlemaster in WoW, where it took me like a year to complete hunting all of these hard achievements (and that was before nerf to the hardest ones). But when I did it, I still remember that last match on Strand of the Ancients, I felt like boss of universe with this single new word above my head.

While we are at it, why warriors are able to reflect projectiles with swords and maces like jedi masters?
Some time ago, the block would break after first reflection. Now, you can shoot with a machinegun, and they will reflect all bullets within 2 seconds. This is stupid and op.
I hope you won’t send thief’s pistol/pistol condition build to grave, because the only reason anybody plays double pistol are these runes.

Only bad players or players with many long channeling skills allow to apply +20 stacks to them. There are fights you might not win, because your opponent knows what are you doing (stability please), forcing you to retreat. Not to mention, they can simply run away from you, because you deal almost no damage while they flee.

It’s so fun to run with them as a thief with pistol off-hand, don’t nerf them please. We need more runes like these.

A few items stolen on land cannot be used under water, hence the steal lock.
This bug is old, and was reported multiple times.
They probably don’t bother with it, because DD was nerfed to oblivion anyway, and since then its only use is wasting initiative.
As Gussjr pointed out, it’s probably connected with Ghosts of Ascalon. I don’t remember how the group of advenures entered to the sewers, but they left them to the north-east, right by walls where cliffs are (Sniper woods). Actually, that place is accessible by jumping; you can visit the sewer exit mentioned in book.
In case you didn’t catch the irony, this is a troll build which shouldn’t be used in serious matches.
I don’t understand why anybody would consider picking D/D over D/P, even if not planning to play “perma stealth”. With D/D you don’t have #3 skill, where D/P’s chase ability with blind is insanely useful.

You can buy some chests from vendor.
First of all, if thief in GW2 differs from rogue-like classes from other games, it doesn’t mean it’s designed wrong.
Second, damage you can dish as a thief is huge if you are full berserker. We have many passive +X% damage increasing traits.
Third, it depends on you, if you want to have low survivability or not. Pistol/dagger has insane survivability, while dagger/dagger has terrible. Same with movement – if you only want, you can be the most mobile class in this game with minimal investments.
Uncontrollable traits that can backfire shouldn’t be here in the first place.

If a cub in Blood fahrar is found to be talented in magic (fahrars are legion specific), they either abandon it or continue to serve their legion as a magician. Cubs don’t choose their legions, it is their parents who do this for them, and they would NEVER send their cubs to serve rival legions. They can’t switch from Blood to Ash only because they are talented in magic, or suddenly go to Iron because they like to tinker with guns.

And I don’t understand these critics who say arenas must have dedicated healers to work. It’s a total nonsense.
But seeing how devs prioritize work, these things won’t come fast. Suggested arena system would take them years. I would rather suggest providing logs to admins of private servers, so they could make small websites with rankings. They also need some more commands to customize their arenas. That would be awesome.

P/P is not dedicated condi set; the #1 deals 50/50 condi and power damage. When I gear up for power in Mists, I can crit with vital shot for +1k damage, while speccing for conditions gives me like +500 damage from bleed (unless you use 3 different rune sets for 3x +15% bleed duration, but it’s a waste of stats).

But only auto-attack uses some condition damage in p/p, the rest it power/crit. Well, you could also proc some combo fields between you and your target (unload is good for it), but for solo play power/crit is far superior.
During leveling it doesn’t really matter which stats you have. Just use the highest level gear possible. But in general, p/p is better with power/crit than condition damage.
Warriors don’t need healing signed to be effective. I’ve fought some awesome warriors who weren’t using it, and were doing fine. But nerfing its flat hp/sec isn’t a good way either. Make it connected with adrenaline, or anything, only not flat healing per second. Flat heal will be always either OP or UP, not to mention it is boring and hard to counter.
Cleansing ire has to be removed. Berserker stance is fine, just slighty reduce its duration.

Paper beats rock, scissors beat paper. Scissors also happen to beat rock, until rock reaches 80 at which point rock becomes an unstoppable killing machine that also beats paper… And would beat scissors, but it can’t find scissors, because scissors are invisible.
So scissors beat paper and avoid rock. And that is called “balance”.
All it does is wastes initative and makes you look like a scrub.

LDB is an AoE, condition based ability in single-target, power/crit weapon set. Just everything about it is wrong. Even evade on it is extremly unreliable. It only has its use in PvE, jumping in crowds of mobs.
I actually found it effective against petting zoo rangers, but fighting them is more like PvE than PvP (what proves my point above).
Make it heal for 100 hp/s for each adrenaline bar, and 5x of this amount on executing a burst skill. Active is just a moderate heal, what means once you are dying and have no chance of regenerating adrenaline, you use this – 20 second cooldown.
Also, berserker stance no longer gives extra adrenaline (long condition immunity is enough for a single skill). Additionaly, burst skills can be actually wasted on evade, blind, block, out-of-range or obstructed. This means you can lose adrenaline without being healed.

If you think this build does no damage, I’d suggest actually trying it and you will be surprised.
Spider venom in addition is extremely useful for dealing with warriors because it allows for near constant poison duration on them in a midfight.

It gives tons of power with full sigil stack, not to mention 3x +10% dmg bonus, +20% dmg bonus against foes under half HP bar, and a few vulnerability stacks. Even a bunker can’t withstand this. It also supports allies and secures stomps with shadow refuge. Signet of malice protects you from retailation.
If you want to poison warriors in team fight, use shortbow, not spider venom. You could try using spider venom in 1 vs 1 fight, but then you won’t even win against any warrior with your poor build.
PS: don’t use sigil of force on P/P, because it increases damage of only one pistol, for example it gives only 2,5% dmg increase on unload (unless you have two of them , but it’s a waste of sigil slots).

I would like to change some of my PC components, so I could play GW2 on a viable level (having 5-20 FPS in WvW and cities isn’t viable to me).
The problems is, I just don’t know what causes these FPS drops, and I don’t want to upgrade my PC just to have the same results.

I suspect it’s either GPU or CPU’s fault, but I have no idea which one. I’ve ran some tests, but both of them seem to be pretty stressed during WvW, so it’s hard to tell.
So, you pick 5 second chill over shadow refuge (assuming you manage to land it)?
Utility you bring is almost non-existant, and you deal no damage as for a glass cannon. Putting 30 points in shadow arts gives you nothing. Pure trash spec.
P/P in sPvP is all about positioning. You can take down soft targets instantly out of combat while being outside of AoE fest. Find a pillar, and you are also protected from ranged damage. With right environment, it is the best anti-glass set we have.
You will get hard countered by retailation and projectile block, but you will also proc many combo fields on your way (hopefully poison and smoke).
In general, this set is 100% team dependant, and being team dependant in solo que or hot-join might be very dangerous.
Residual venom makes it a 3s stun though and venom share makes it even longer.
If you bothered reading my post few lines above you would know it’s false.
I’m okay with small channeling time when trap was not triggered by anybody (it can be interrupted), but please remove 2 minute timer on the trap and set it to inifnity like before. Currently, thief can’t win solo against anybody competitive except other thieves and glass cannon eles (and this is only while wielding mighty S/D weapon set), so I think it would be fair.
It was changed from ambush trap to stealth in the same patch when larcenous strike was introduced. It was never both trap and stealth.
If you rely that much on BV (sad), then this now forces you to choose “Residual Venom”, the way it was really intended in the first place.
It doesn’t work with residual venom. I mean, it refreshes the stun duration instead of stacking. Nobody would sacrifice grandmaster trait for such useless effect.
Since thieves are totally outclassed in burst damage these days (eles took this place), the only role of BV is triggering runes of Lyssa. Quite sad.
Devs, have mercy, I beg you…
Play double shortbow with energy sigils + quick pockets. Take shadow’s embrace to negate conditions, and cloaked in shadows to make yourself a pulsing smoke field while reviving with shadow’s refuge.

People’s fun on this map is entirely dependent on class. If you don’t have knockbacks/reliable pulls or a bunch of ai to do your fighting for you, you feel absolutely useless (and mostly are).
I really hope you make some changes to allow classes without these things to play as well.
Every single class in this game has some sort of pushback/launch/fear or pull. If you want to “build” yourself for Skyhammer, in 99% cases it’s all about switching one utility slot few seconds before a match started. In 1% it’s switching your secondary weapon set. And if you think, that your current build is optimalized to maximum, and swapping an utility or weapon would hurt you – you are stupid, sorry.
