they are tolling us ! not fair…
all our traits are around stealth: blind on stealth, +2 ini on stealth, regen hp on stealth, gain might on stealth, remove condition on stealth….
removing it from thief is basically making useless ~25% of our traits…

Thieves are better for pvp, for pve you have better options (guardian, warrior). I always prefer a party with warriors or guardians only. It makes things easier.

to the OP: simple, you don’t bring a thief to dungeons
2xguards,1 warr, 1 ele and 1 mesmer …. all is in perfect harmony

i got something like 20sec+ of bleeding per LDB
in case you didn’t noticed the revealed debuff is 4 seconds !
3.9s….3.8s….3.7sec……1.1sec….1.0sec…0.9sec….0.2sec….0.1sec….0 now you may cloak again.
just because culling delays that, is not our fault !!!

i got kicked because i was a thief class :/
me not understand the why …. i rarely die, and use my SR & blinding when ppl are down.
me also not understand why ppl attack boss while downed so they break stealth…
time=money for most ppl

There’s a lot more to WvWvW than using rams. How about giving thieves a special seige skill in exchange for increasing stealth cool downs? That might offset the huge advantage that culling gives thieves.
I don’t see any huge advantage? Do you oZii? How do thieves dominate wvw again? I think he needs to l2p against thieves. But he won’t, he will qq till he gets his way or stop playing.
Columba is out to turn every stealth, thief, culling, thread into a nerf thread for thieves – you’ve likely seen his post history – it’s about 18 pages of 1 line comments having a dig at thieves or rants like this where he goes off on one about culling, stealth and the damage thieves do.
Columba – give it a rest, at this point, you said no one complains about rangers or engineers being op? and that 90% of the complaints about professions are about thieves?

plan F: 1 guy doesn’t jump on the maw platform, and 4 of you kill the 2 tentacles. ok.
you die in agony, the one off platform stay there, but one of the other 4 dead uses a revive orb (NOT teleport), then he ress other 3 dead ppl. ok.
the 5th guy stays there off maw platform if you want to kill all colossus, then use the trick again. (then he may come to help) easy and just 2 revive orbs.

to the OP: i meleed him today without any problem each time (3 times to be exact), and the destroyer too ! – yes, we wiped 2-3 times because my ranged team mates died horribly, but we managed finally to kill him and i got 2 charged cores + other nice stuff ^^
in my opinion it is much easier than before patch.
does make sense that i eat thieves in wvw for breakfast, lunch and dinner ?
in worst case scenario they got downed/died in stealth
so, if i may ask, where is the OP’ness here ?
in my humble opinion, crying on forums instead of learning how thieves can be countered, makes the thief community angry

i do not understand why res rushing was bad ? i did die and want to come back to the fight. Why everyone needs to die (see the boss who prioritize the chars who ress you) so i can fight again ?(high possibility to drag my mates along with me to the dead land)

dudes, you have to melee with med armor and low hp base pool, you are just 1-2 hits really, and you think is any use using stealth after the boss started to swing the weapon towards you ? no.
on boss: blind 10% effective, weakness+vuln=50% reduction just in case you didn’t knew… poison is a joke. also traps. (see mobs triggering the trap but no effects around the edges, makes you cry … and they are used for just 1 mob, the first that triggers it if goes trough middle of the rectangle)

you get only 1 elite in underwater, and that one is a JOKE unless you are vennom build spec, also the utilities available suck bad for my build….
who is trolling who in this case ?
i usually kick players so i can charge gold after that, but it’s just me….
from my point of view kicking players from dungeon before last boss is the ultimate troll i can think of

just c&d every 4 seconds and get perma regen …. hm…. Op i think.
and yes, shadow refuge would pop you over 20++ seconds of it because of multiple stealth waves
as long as the nerfbat hits only the wvw/pvp thieves and not the pve/dungeons i am ok with that, really
here is an ideea:
you kill mobs at dungeon, they drop no loot
after you finish the dungeon (get the final tokens), you get their drops + a bit more higher chances for rares/exotics than standard and a increasing bonus in money, lets say +20% for 100% mob kill, +10% if 75-99% and 0 bonus money and normal chances for drops for total mob kill <75%
seems ok in theory, except the part where you get kicked or party fails = 0 drops, but so far drops are crappy anyway from the mobs…
the point is to separate the gap, less mobs killed = less rewards in value, all mobs=as the boss chest

no offense, but i do way more damage than you do on fractal mobs 30+ !
but yeah, glass are not viable anymore, bunkers are, nice videos too
just use thieves guild, an ELITE skill on a boss, they don’t last more than 5 seconds due 1 shot or aoe from boss, not even to mention the agony “buff”…
so, let’s talk about useless skills and pets and when NOT to use them…. (+ the 1 thief summoned via a trap is same story)

the most important drops are from the chests after boss, period.
and if i can make 1/2 the time for 3/4 of total drop worth in gold, then yeah, Why Not?
So why the wall is so much better than our smoke screen? Why?
Smoke Screen does more than block projectiles. It also provides a Smoke Field. The reason it’s shorter is because you can give people AoE Stealth using a combo blast finisher, which is actually very strong in some circumstances.
Wall of Reflection is only a Light Field, which is not as powerful or useful by comparison.

basically all fields are equal in one way or the other in my opinion
this is the only fractal i like, the harpies trolling the players with knockback off the platforms.
i feel warm and fuzzy inside when they say “die groundling”
