Just because a game’s older doesn’t mean that liking it is nostalgia. It’s like saying that Deus Ex isn’t better than Invisible War and anyone that says it is just has a case of nostalgia.

It’s a sweeping generalisation that proves nothing but how YOU feel. You can’t establish everyone’s love for the game with that. Nostalgia isn’t as powerful a pull as you think.

People with a lot of gold NEVER GAMBLE.

- People with a lot of gold for playing the game? Get freaking good at dungeon speed run and you will get about 10 gold per hours.
- People that play the T.P.? They looks at numbers and figure out what will be the best investment. They can be wrong, but its never pure gamble.
- People that get several precursor from the Mystic Forge? They use massive amount of gold so they get a average return and set the price of the precursor on the market so they keep getting profit.

If you try a gamble to get more gold ,you are doing it wrong.

emotes are used in WvW to communicate with the enemy. being able to wave and bow without being in combat range is pretty important.

I would love for weeklies to replace dailies. Not everyone can play every day. We have lives.

Don’t do anything fancy. Just multiply the rewards x7 and tasks x7 (gather 140 items instead of 20 items, 7 dgns instead of 1 dgn, ect) and change the duration from 24 hrs to 168 hrs. It would drastically improve my enjoyment of the game, and most other life livers out there I’d imagine.

This would allow you to open up the dailys to have all possible ones available. This would truly allow us to play the game how we like.

So “not everyone can play every day” due to having lives.
But they can somehow do the same things * 7?

And claiming that people that spend about 30 minutes (doesn’t really take more than that) to get dailies have no lives is both silly and rather offensive.

Yeah, sure as hell eats up an entire day mining 140 ores.

There does seem to be a fair amount of ummmm…… excitement, if that the proper word to use here, over the mere possibility of the presence of female nipples. Multiple screenshots with closeups of the “offending” area with discussions whether or not those are nipples showing or graphic glitches. Idk. Maybe it’s cultural. Maybe it’s an age thing. But some people are getting pretty frothed up about it.

Did you know that the female Orrian heavy chestplate used to show flesh underneath the claws covering the breasts, rather than a metallic plate? They changed it in Beta Weekend 3 or for release, I forget which.

There were definitely complaints about it and it was changed AFTER release. People tend to get offended at things that just do not affect them.

Wow! That’s a really powerful spell and one that’s good to learn. I hear it is SO powerful it also works on gloves and shoulders!

My mesmer wears a flower hair piece she got from a personal story, around the invasion of Lion’s Arch (for the millionth time.) You start with masks but you can quickly get rid of them. It’s actually far harder to find masks later on in the game and the starter sets are completely unique.

I would like the blue to be dyeable. I’m also surprised at the sheer horror at seeing the female body. Acting shocked and acting like it’s the Forbidden Fruit is the reason why you get men stare so long in the first place.

I’ve always noticed that it’s always a teenage boy that takes offense to this kind of armour and always screams “But think of the parents!” I’ve never known a woman to get offended. Or a parent.

Yes the stats do matter. They offer a 5-15% damage increase. That is a HUGE amount of damage when everything in this game is a dps race.

If you don’t think that much damage matters then please don’t show up to the wurm event or any timed event that is introduced from this point forward.

It’s that gear over skill casual mentality that’s the reason YOU can’t beat the wurm and the whole “But we need 80s only for my level 30 dungeon!”

Guild Wars 2 is so easy I know I’m playing the wrong game when players think they need to exploit game mechanics to win and people need PvE commanders and team speak to say “Smack the wurm.” Also the PvP players have been some of the worst I’ve seen in any game.

It’s never going to reach the competitive level I’m at. In GW2, the casuals are king.

You did a lot of internet research there, Orpheal. Shame it didn’t work out for you. Especially when they were not only used in France but also Spain and Japan and NEVER by the military.
