Well aren’t you just a snarky little kitty.
I’ve seen them drop from large but not from heavy, which is why I provided the info I did.
And the info you provided is wrong, so you were told as such. Nothing they said to you was rude, only your reply to it was.
Wrong.
There are a lot of casuals. I remember saying that we needed good dps from warden 3 onwards, and I got people asking me what dps was. The platform I ended up on had a staff camping guardian who evidently thought he had high dps.
There’s definitely a problem with ignorance and people not knowing how to play.
So I’m going to tell you how. On warden 5, AoE is actually a necessity so the staff guardian would have done exactly what he was supposed to.
Easy mistake to make. You get all your builds and information from a forum and take it as law. The real players actually learn and adapt to the game.
Anet’s gotta eat, fellas. Calm down, it isn’t that bad. Buy it with gold if you can’t afford the 12 dollars. And even if you don’t get it this time, save up and get it next time. They always bring that stuff back.
I didn’t know whether or not to take that seriously.
Then I saw your signature.
I’d love to know where people are buying iPhones with GW2 gold.
You can’t. Guests fill up those servers that do everything and because they’re new, they fail everything.
It’s quite the paradox.
There have been over 1600 views of this thread currently and 400 votes. Would you then count those 1200 views as “neutral” since they didn’t care enough to vote?
Some forums have it so that every time someone clicks on the thread after a new post, it counts as a new viewer. So there may very well have only been 400 people who’ve clicked on it a few times.
I don’t think so. A Warrior with a staff… doesn’t make much sense
You never watched Ninja Turtles?
A staff could be a great weapon. It would do less damage per hit, but if they make it a very fast weapon that could, for example, knock opponents over or daze them, it could be very effective.
Because Ninja Turtles is so realistic.
You did not just say that on a fantasy game forum.
And you will kick those peoples behinds in any part of the game anyway..hoarding gold by using real money does NOT teach someone to dodge LOL
Or use skills..Or setting traits
Or select the best armor
Or..etc etc etc
99% of you don’t even do that yourselves. You all run to the forum and say “What’s the best?” You don’t question it. You don’t test it. You just run in and then tell everyone “That is the best because damage.” You don’t know WHY!
So like I said, I would not notice a difference. It does not affect my game.
Of course many people have said it. Even ArenaNet staff have said it. I think he gets the hint after 2 pages now.
^ I think there are 24 US server. Only 2 main server did the last Tequal. Nothing wrong with what he says.
If you really want to kill Teq. Join a guild which do them. It’s not hard. The problem is I dont’ think most people cares.
That’s because everyone guests to those servers, whine “But my server doesn’t do it!” and can’t even remove the scales from Tequatl, dodge or waypoint.
Then you get overflow upon overflow of the natives trying to get in their own server.
Thank you for having the foresight to add a neutral option. This could not affect me less with how useless sprockets are.
And what if the price of sprockets goes up?
And how does that affect me?
It’s easiest to see in an extreme case: Let’s say the price of each sprocket goes up to 100g. Then those with this pick will become extremely rich while those who don’t, won’t.
The extreme case won’t happen, but the idea is the same. Those with the pick are essentially minting money. The more money that enters the economy, the higher prices go up at the TP. However, this money that’s entering the economy goes only to those with the picks. They can afford for prices to go up while those without picks can’t. The more sprockets are worth, the bigger the effect.
Anet just made their own lives more complicated because if they allow the price of sprockets to increase, there will be a point where people will notice and then we’ll really see some outrage.
That has absolutely no impact on me. I wouldn’t care if you could then buy legendaries from the gem store for half an hour only.
Nothing has been taken from me. Nobody will spend 100 gold for a sprocket when you need 500 of them for one recipe. Nobody will actually even USE the horrible combination of power, precision and healing power. I don’t even care if someone new logs in to the game, has 80 in every class and a million gold.
It does not affect my game in any sense.
I’d also be careful next time if you try to do another analogy like the drug cartel one. Fallacies don’t help your argument.
Unfortunately, I had a creeping suspicion that the hyperbolic satire would be ENTIRELY lost on you.
Still, it’s my own fault for not catering to the target audience.
Thank you for having the foresight to add a neutral option. This could not affect me less with how useless sprockets are.
And what if the price of sprockets goes up?
And how does that affect me?
So…someone who bought an iPhone 4 should be able to get a refund to buy and iPhone 5 then, right?
Your analogies cause me great pain .
I’m curious how is analogy is incorrect. The phones serve a purpose as communication devices just as the scavenging tools serve to well… scavenge. The newer version the the phone has been updated from the previous model with new features just like the new scavenging has been updated with a new feature.
So what am I missing? Please do share.
The fact that there are MANY companies who would gladly trade to lessen the costs of the next model and sell off your old one to make even more money? The fact that technology can be scavenged for real parts? The fact that rabid Steve Jobs fanboys need everything NOW and would pay out the nose for the hardware? The fact that this is software and only costs time and can even be bought by only time and not real money? How about the fact that they can produce an unlimited amount of mining picks but not an unlimited amount of phones?
They are vastly different services, vastly different products and vastly different consumers. You might as well have compared the mining picks to a drug cartel for how utterly incomprehensibly useless it was.

I will be genuinely surprised if they give you a refund for this. They definitely pulled the rug from under your feet but that’s why I DON’T buy crap like that. I’m not going to encourage them and convince them that it’s ok to do things like this.
Don’t go chasing the carrot by fighting for refunds and getting the next hot thing. They’ll nip it in the bud, thank you for the “money” (because we both know you spent gold on this and no cash was transferred) and continue doing what they’re doing.
That’s actually a good idea.
I’m really not seeing the scam here. What if he really did transfer over with that gold? What if he just kept doing the same crap without exploring to level? This may very well have been a completely honest transaction.
I’d sure as hell not fork out money to a stranger. Teach a man to fish. But to jump the gun and call this a scam? You may very well have just outed an honest man who you believe actually reads these forums.
Start your own party and it fills quickly. If these people think achievement points matter, they’re bad at the game. Steer clear of them.
Most people that say “X is bad” are people that jump onto a bandwagon and don’t even know why they’re saying what they are.
There are a lot of bad rangers. Just as there are a lot of bad warriors, TERRIBLE guardians and the most useless elementalists I have ever seen in my life who can’t even cleanse a condition in a water field.
It doesn’t make the classes bad. Just the people that have no idea how to play.
That can’t be new to you. You’ve been on the internet for more than a week.
Skill 4 is a channelled skill. You press 4 once and you heal over time.
Being attacked interrupts it, using other skills interrupts it, just let it happen.
There is a reason why it’s not out yet. They’re still testing changes to the gear. Stop complaining and if you’re gonna complain go complain elsewhere.
ANet has other crap to do then delete these threads and merge them all day. Like actually making content that isn’t total crap (looking at you scarlet and everything you’ve ruined)
There are many, many things wrong with that.
You assume the forum moderation team have any hand in game development.
You tell someone to take their game construction elsewhere and to “stop complaining.”
You then go on to complain about the forums, the posters and the game itself.
Also, you may want to learn the difference between “Then” and “Than.”
What exactly are people winning here that makes this “Pay to win”? Sprockets? You can have mine! They’re useless!
I just emptied my bank account buying a bunch of these for every character.
If you think people are actually enjoying open raid content, take ALL the rewards away from all of them.
See how many people do it for enjoyment then.
Well seeing how people always whine about how bad rewards for everything in the game is and yet they keep doing stuff, I would assume that rewards is not the only reason for them to do stuff.
It’s true. Even the game play isn’t rewarding. But I’m glad you completely and 100% agree with me to try my experiment.
If you think people are actually enjoying open raid content, take ALL the rewards away from all of them.
See how many people do it for enjoyment then.
how is it bad, it has base heal, if you wear Clerics Trinkets at least and trait 20 points in Healing tree you get 2.5k base heal + you SHOULD trait it for Meditations Heal in grandmaster for Toughness tree and it will have base heal of around 4k If you deal damage you get even more healing – WHAT IS BAD IN THAT
lol
lol?
lol
You know, if you don’t like the Queensdale train, there are 4 other starter zones you could level in.
I do remember this posted way back and I think it was concluded that those are the marks of the Order of Whispers. Generally shows entrances to their hide-outs.
I actually play the game.
People in the trains are playing the game too. Whether you agree with the style of play they have is irrelevant, they are still playing the game.
@OP; I often run the FGS train for gold/mats or when im bored. Dont often go to the QD train as almost all my chars are well beyond QD.
Play however you want. Just don’t get in my dungeon parties. You’re actually required to dodge in them.
You say I know nothing about coding, yet you assumed it’d take a great deal of time, resources and even the game’s updates to entirely stop to change this. You assumed that the people working on textures are going to stop working on the new Lion’s Arch to go help with this. You assumed the story writers were going to leap on board to help.
They have designated teams for this. I suggest you educate yourself on the matter or continue your trend of covering your ears and singing loudly so it no longer exists. Either way, it’s not your call to make what they spend their “valuable resources” on.
And you’re, once again, saying “Ignore the program’s flaws because it’s meant to have flaws.” Then you followed it up by implying it takes a GREAT DEAL OF TIME AND RESOURCES to change a CENSOR!
Halt the Living World team! The censor team needs reinforcements IMMEDIATELY!
I actually play the game.
Ignoring a problem doesn’t make a problem disappear.
What? Its a filter done by a program, its never going to be perfect because its programmed by humans. And removing the filter is not ignoring “the problem”, it is quiet literally making “the problem” disappear.
And it can be CHANGED by humans. The problem has been brought forward to be changed by humans.
People have the profanity filter on for a reason. You’re saying that to fix something broken, you must either live with it or throw the baby out with the bath water.
Nice try. 2/10.
Some of which were even sold for real money.
And technically all of them were in GW1 seeing as you had to pay for the expansion
Your shield arm must be getting tired. Your defence for them is getting weaker.
Must have been some weight.
One should keep in mind that several of those armor sets were more or less slight reworks of already existing armors .
Which is already true for a large amount of the armor we have received since launch in GW2.
Some of which were even sold for real money.
Ignoring a problem doesn’t make a problem disappear.
Even overflows are doing it now.
That’s because most servers keep joining mine and run STRAIGHT to the turrets without knowing how to use them.
So a lot of people are having confusion with how to name the paths so commanders can say “I only have 5 people here.” “I have 20 here.” I’ve come up with this system to number them. 1 from the North-most, 5 from the South.
Also, a lot of people seem to be utterly clueless in the first phase. To the point I’ve not seen the second yet. Lure the things on their own mines to stun them, they’re immune to damage from the front so try to get behind them.
If anyone else has any advice, come forth and let’s get this puppet destroyed!
Also, I am actually having fun doing this so please don’t delete this in 2 weeks. We want content that persists and changes the game. Not something I can tell a newbie in 3 weeks time “I had fun and now it’s gone.”
Failure to stop the Marionette before the power meter associated with it is filled results in a massive cannon going off and every single player within Lornar’s Pass being killed. Even those possibly on the other side of the map.
wtf
Puts your username to shame!
New interview with details/strats on the marrionette fight and wurm fight.
Wurm fight looks epic

If you still have it up, copy and paste please! the page is gone.
It’s there. I had to do some refresh wars myself.
Oh, he means STUCK!
Another encounter like tequatl? Seems like they still don’t listen to the community.
!!instanced version is needed!!
I don’t want to play with trolls, I wont’t play with trolls and the event will die off again within a week, just like tequatl has on every server.
This just confirms how little they seem to care about feedback, hence why I stopped giving it after the flame & frost threads.
Really? EVERY server? Do you have any evidence for that?
One worth playing is one you find fun. Especially after quitting with utter boredom.
Why is GW2’s community full of necromancers. Geez
What would you prefer? 200 threads about the same topic? Because I get quickly sick of that.
The bandage to a stab wound is join a guild. You might find some like-minded players.
Of course I just left the game because there’s nothing to really keep me. It is IMPOSSIBLE to fail in this game, regardless of what the wiki build users think.
I need a game that keeps me challenged and something to keep me tethered. Bad community, bad game mechanics, this game doesn’t deserve the same name of Guild Wars. It should have been called Tyria Online or something else generic. Because that’s exactly what this game is. Generic.
