Be careful what you say about spirit rangers. Their is a swarm of angry rangers who don’t want to except thakittens op. They will make up every excuse they can to hide the fact that the spec is complete bs.

just make it like how it is in every other game. Cast bars only show when you have the person targeted. Its a really simple fix. It won’t even lower the skill cap at all.

Maybe a choice between weapon skins like the zenith weapons. That would of been really nice.

Or we could just add cast bars….

The torch trait is amazing. I run a condi confusion mesmer in tpvp and i do fine. The torch trait gives you all the cleanse you need and its only really fun from your necro buddy to epidemic 20 stacks of confusion.

The only problem is skyhammer

Their is a way better confusion condi mesmer build.

Have a rank 20 requirement. At that point you know the maps, your class, and how to play. Plus it isn’t that hard to reach and its progression witch this game lacks.

We made a pole earlier. Heavily agreed that skyhammer should be in hot join only. But Poles are against Anets policy so this is pointless =(

The version i run is a lot better i can spend you a pm if you would like. I ran a build like this then i made some changes and its A LOT better.

Unfortunately 7 people already did report him for harassment as their is no report function for exploitation or being a douch bag and troll. Guess what nothing happened! No big surprise their! So that is why i decided to bring this to the forums where maybe a CM could see this.
Tell me what sounds like an easier thing to do
1. Tell every person who owns a custom arena to ban this person and everytime a new one is made immediately tell that person.
OR
2. Anet Bans him for exploitation/harassment/trolling.

You are allowed to exploit the game AS LONG AS its in PVP and you are allowed to troll people AS LONG AS its PVP without being punished.

This is just so sad. I remember when the game launched so many people get bans for bs stuff. Now i have kittening sceen shots of this person trolling and exploiting and nothing? I am pretty sure exploiting is one the biggest your going to get banned things you can do in mmos

Umm not trying to be a jerk or anythin, you do realize that condition mesmer in 1 vs 1 is OP because of all the cripple and confusion. Any build, I mean any build will lose to condition Mesmer in 1 vs 1 in pvp. Try it out and see for yourself. Condition is extremely hard to beat. No doubt.

Phantasm build will beat it. A high condition removal specced mesmer will also beat it.

Phant doesn’t beat confusion. Phant mesmers die really quickly. Shatter is generally the hardest fight.

Spirit ranger is OP the reason you are destroying everyone is because the build is carrying you. I am sure you are all skilled players but just accept the fact that the build is over powered.

It does 4k damage to GC, other targets no chance, also its 1.5 cast time.

I’ve also made a post talking about Spirit rework’s only OP thing atm about Spirit’s are the up time of spirit’s and the elite. There effect’s aren’t that OP. It’s less up time on burning then the Engi traited.

Also allot of Spirit ranger’s do not run the sword/dagger combo. Seem’s to be EU thing but most of NA ranger’s don’t run it unless they copy’ed that video with carrion amulet build which allot spirit ranger’s don’t run. So don’t even try to class us all together when there so many different versions of Spirit build people play.

You guys complain allot about spirit ranger, but why are there so many people out there NOW countering the spirit ranger so hard. Like explain that.

Also almost all current meta builds are just as easy to play as each other. We use more skills on ranger then other classes. Our tank comes from dodge unlike other classes they have access to perma vigor up keep and have just as much dodge as us while having other skills like “blinds” KD/KB/Stun’s to act as there dodge.

Allot of you just refuse to understand the game better, allot of you that complain have barely even played ranger. So QQ some more.

A LOT of spirit rangers run sword dagger.
List me some builds that hard counter spirit rangers and i mean HARD COUNTER as in you will never win.
That is completely bs rangers do not use more skills as the other classes.
Rangers are already quite a tanky class plus they have very good regen plus they have a lot of dodge.
People complain about high dodge thieves.
The issue here is your ego.

If you really think spirit Ranger is low skill then make one yourself and duel me.

Of course if you don’t like that idea, I encourage you to find a single spirit ranger in this game who can beat me in a duel reliably. If it is a low skill class then certainly you can find some other person who is capable of out preforming another ranger. Unless of course there is actually some depth and skill that differentiates players that you can’t put your finger on because you have absolutely no experience playing the class you comment on at a high level.

This person named The Third Volpe found a way to get under the map and what he does is sit under the map and trolls people who are dueling on duel servers here are some nice screenshots of him doing so. I like in this picture he says in chat to me he trolls because he wants to. All screenshots were taking in spectator mode

the best way to fix phantasms are as follows
1. iDuelest increase his unload channel time. Have it still do the same amount of damage but not nearly as fast. This gives a players a chance to dodge and allows you to have counter play
2. iBerserker reduce the distance he spins
3. iSwordsman reduce the ranger he can attack from.
Their you go easy effective fixes

People who are argue spirit ranger takes skill are almost as bad as the people who think playing skyhammer takes skill.

I like having confusion to add even more punch to my condition spec, but the poison, bleeding stacks, and burning I do are the bulk of the damage my condition spec does and it’s not even close.

See the thing is 2 things happen to people when they have a lot of confusion on them.
1. The continue spamming their skills and end up doing that 5k damage tons of times extremely fast and they kill themselves
2.OR the stop attacking you completely stopping all their pressure on you and allowing to be safe for a bit.

You know how difficult it is to max confusion stacks on a enemy.

You sum up so well why confusion & confusion/glamour builds are dead since the WvW nerf.

To add insult to injury, with the new superior rune of perplexity other professions can stack confusion better than a mesmer because it’s easier for them to interrupt…

Iduelest with trait, feedback or any ether combofield and scepter then shatter. Boom almost max stack of confusion.

I run a PU build and have 3 stealths helps a lot. Stealth and run next to a clone stand still and time scepter auto attack with clones it actually works wonders people will lose track of you.

1. Who ever said confusion was weak is just wrong. Confusion is an amazing condi and is one of the few condis that you can burst with and the best part is mesmers can get 10+ confusion stacks on a person very quickly and with ease.
2. The skill just needs a short cd like how the op mentioned 20 seconds would be great but if this skill gets a cd reduction it is going to be 25 seconds.

I was once crt for 8,720 by a rangers bird pet when i had about 1,800 toughness. I am skeptical about ranger pets not being good.

There definitely should NOT be the ability to transmute PvE skins to PvP. ANET messed up by introducing the ability to convert certain PvE skins already.

The ONLY exception should be legendaries. If you earn one of those you should be able to use the skin in PvP if you want.

I see mesmers are starting to feel how warriors have felt since well uh launch. Don’t worry it stings less the longer it lasts. Then you will get a slight buff with a semi viable build then next thing you know BAM you are apparently a broken and op class but you are never allowed in tpvp. It’s funny i see some similar faces in here qqing about warriors being op.

Removing skyhammer would stop leavers.
