Can we please nerf mesmers for 2 reasons.
1. SO all the bad “i heard this class is OP” people stop playing them.
2. When I completely own people as one I can lol at them

Okay lemme get this straight here.
Every class is OP except the class i play but when you play my class it becomes way to popular cause its OP and if you kill me your class is OP? Is that right?

^really? rangers are under-powered? Crossfire is one of the most BS skills in this game. When its combined with haste its like a fricking machine gun that apply 10-25 stacks of bleeds. But it only applies if your at the side or behind!!!! NO acaully as long as your not directly infront of them it applies bleeds. Rangers are one of the best pvp classes at them moment

Why can’t i win a 1v1 against a mesmer/gaurdain/thief!!!! I blow all 3 of my dmg dealing slot utility skills and i still lose!! Nerf everything until i can beat every class!!!

YAH!!! Screw breaking stuns i want all of my 3 slot skills to be dmg!!! Cause im so pro with my glass cannon build. Please just kitten stun breaks are very imporant and your 3 slotted skills shouldnt just be 3 dmg ones

Lets just face the truth now 80% of the people whining about classes being OP are the people from WoW. Their have been hundreds of posts like " I’m a WoW pro gladiator and this game is unbalanced!" Can we all just stop complaining stop running the glass cannon specs and stop taking all damage abilities as the 3 slot skills AND stop tab targeting

I would want to see a game mode where it is protect your bomb on its way to the enemy’s base while stopping your enemy’s bomb from reaching your base. Kinda like tf2

I only make fun of heartseeker thiefs and 100bd warriors when i beat them. I go nerf (whatever class im playing)

For opting to make your character a glass cannon aren’t you relying on your own skill and prowess to not get hit? Glass cannon builds do not bother me at all. If they are bad you will kill them easy if they are good and understand their class they will give you a run for your money

Pet classes aren’t OP instead of spamming tab target how bout you manually target the guy? If you cannot manually target a person while moving around and attacking you now have a new skill to work on.

LOOK wow vets no one gives a flying kitten about you being good at wow or pvp in any other game. This is gw2 not wow not whatever games you have played. Your past cred means nothing here you want some respect? You have to earn it heres how.
1. Stop saying wow vet or gaming vet and admit you are a beginner to pvp in this game since we all are.

For real???? The 2hammer shout build is amazing lots of teams are using that now. Also that new crazy burst rifle build is popular in tourny play.

IF you where using heartseeker as your main dmging attack you would be upset about this change. IF you where a good thief and only properly using heartseeker this change doesn’t bother you.

Nerf Sharks make the cannon harder to use make like a sorta boss mob inside the pirate ship that grants a buff on last hit. That will cause the team to split up and would add a much needed element to the map.

What are you talking about???? Engi is currently amazing! The only things that need to be dealt with are are the turrets and RNG from Potions. Those are minor issues engi should be the last class that needs a fix

The only thing i dislike about pistol whip is the fact that it has no cd. So you can get away from a couple of them but eventually they will get you.

I have won a 3v1 on my engi with teldos point defense build.

Moa-morph is in a weird place right now. I would say make it a longer cast time and give some kinda icon or effect when you cast it. Like a bigger tell so if you get hit by it its your own fault =P.

I hate when you win a 1v1 then a random guy comes and stuns/ect you then revives the guy you just beat then they both kick yourkitten
PS why does the reviving animation look like your rubbing their tummy back to life?

After browsing the forums for a bit I decided I would sum up why mesmers are OP (yes we are unfortunately). The main reason Mesmers are currently over powered is because of phantasm dmg. Without being traited phantasms are fine but when traited for the 30% dmg increase makes a HUGE difference. My swords man hits for 5-7k non crts and 8-10k crts and my duelist hits for 4-5k and stacks 6-10 bleeds on the poor guy. While my blurred frenzy and main spam attack hit for a fraction of that blurred frenzy hits for only 3-4k. That is not right. Mesmers should be the primary source of dmg, not the secondary. The phantasms should be more support/utility (like the skill slot ones) or secondary dmg. Since we are actually real we should be the ones doing the nasty dmg. Mesmers need some sort of change with their weapon skills to make us the primary dmg.

Can we just remove the gap closer from heartseeker? Make it take some skill to land instead of spamming it and flying at the guy? I swear to god if someone replies and says “we need it! its one of our only gap closers” I want him banned from the forums. As for pistol whip idk how i would change it. But it really does do a lot of dmg possibly to much.

Most people are simply saying that certain aspects of the class need to be looked at, aka nerfed. Compensation for the class in other areas would naturally be needed.

Yes I know. I am mainly saying that the most important thing about mesmers that needs a change is our dmg vs phatasms dmg. We should be the primary dmg dealers. You agree no?

I honestly have never had this problem with any of the melee classes. Their are so many gap closers, snares,roots,knock downs, ect maybe look at your build or trait skills and take some of the things ive mentioned cause i know gaurds have them.

I can’t speak for every mesmer out their. But I hardly use my Moa elite lol. The only time i will use it is if I’m in a 2v1 situation or I’m against some annoying tanky person fighting me for a point. ^ the guy above me is lieing. I highly doubt hes been moaed over 25 times in 1 day

But you do understand the skull taht shows your down only appears over the real one HINT HINT.

How bout this instead of nerfing HS you buff the dmg a decent amount and make it a cooldown. OR you remove the gap closer buff and buff the dmg a little bit that way you have to aim and be near the person to use it. Instead of spamming it and flying across the map at your target.

Yah I play a mesmer can you please not nerf us but change us! Right now the really kinda crazy memser dmg comes from the phantasm build. The reason mesmers have phantasms is because we don’t do enough dmg on our own.
