Well considering i play with an ele, mesmer, wqrrqir, ranger, and engi (that being me) pretty much everytime i play this game I have to say i don’t see many gaurds.

I am more of a stepping stool kinda guy

Pin down is my only problem. The animation isn’t clear enough and its projectile speed is to fast making it impossible to dodge if you aren’t at max range. If they make it slower and clearer animation and reduce the bleeding damage it would be a lot more balanced

The leaderboards mean everything. They decide who ques with who. If youre in a percentile, you get qued with people that dont care or dont know what they are doing and you’ll find it extremely difficult to make it up to the point where you can play with players that know what they are doing. Basically if youre ranked low, you have little fun.

I highly suggest everyone reads it. Lordearle is highly intelligent and is one of the best eles in this game. I can completely 100% vouch for him and many others can too.

I refuse to duel those types of thieves. The attack once then stealth and regen and remove condis while being completely invisible. Those duels are long and boring and not fun at all.

I have windows 8 right now. I hate it. ITs so kittenign confusing!!! Why can’t they have everything on the home screen! Why did they make it all blocky and it goes to different menus and screens ugh.

I hate to say it but, you will need to find another reason to play sPvP to play sPvP.

The community has degraded a lot since release, for reasons I can only speculate but nonetheless I have also found more rudeness in general.

But to be clear, you need to find some other reason to play sPvP because the community will not be supportive of you. You have to find a reason to play that is independent of this fact. Here are some examples:

a. Determination to improve your skill as a player
b. The need to compete
c. Close friends that would like you to join them in sPvP

I wouldn’t include ‘fun’ under that list because it’s not fun to get smothered by better players while they rage at you. It’s only fun after you put the effort in to improve.

Yea the solo que rating is completely unforgiving, you lose to the wrong person who was randomly shuffled into a vVv sync’d group and you can fall like 100 spaces in one go.

4v5s are brutal and plentiful, but that’s expected because it’s solo que. If you don’t like it que with a full team.

Just forget about it, enjoy the good fights and if anyone ever tries to brag about their solo que ranking just know that they’re probably a wvwvwer or something.

just shut the kitten up lol. Stop kittening overreacting the skill is op and need a slight bump in initiative needs to stop ignoring line of sight. This way you have to use it wisely and actually keep track of your initiative.

Yes, definitely a great burst 1v1, loving it but, if you watch the video i assure you will se inherent problem it faces, and the same problem that warranted a complete buffs to warriors

With s/d in team fights its best to stay really far back and when people group lighting flash in do the earth 4 blink combo burst then detarget and ride the lightning out asap.

cost 3 or 4? what a joke. that would mean it would cost 7 init to tele there and back… They should just make it so you have to be in range and maybe decrease the range a bit. Games will become esports when they community makes them esports. This game will not be a legit esport until all the countless pvp issues are fixed.

1.5k, but it was probably the best gw2 tournament so far, both in match quality (except for dc’s) and match breaks.

And out of those 1.5k how many could follow what was happening and how many were actually players and not AI. (the last part was a joke)

Another thing. Solo queue has no reason to be taken seriously. I go into solo queue to test build because if i go into hot join ill die of cancer. Maybe have some special rewards for being high on leaderboards. I mean after all the pvp progression in this game is hey i look cool! It doesn’t take a kittening genius to give incentive to play. Hmm special cool gear for those in the top 100 then cooler gear for those in the top 50 then the coolest gear for the top 10? That makes leaderboards actually mean something! Because currently when someone says they are high up on the leaderboards how many of you give a kitten? But in order to implement this it would actually mean anet has to care about this game and its pvp community so lets ask the MAGIC ARENA NET 8 BALL OF GW2 and the answer is!!!!! Vague and promising but means never gunna happen.

In 15 v 15 their is no winner. Everyone ends up dieing from seizures due to the particle effects.

Depends on the thief. Sword pistol / dagger pistol thieves will generaly beat wqrrqirs but wqrriqrs will beat sword dagger thieves. But may god have mercy on your soul when you fight a good p/d p/d thief. A p/d p/d thief that is good will never lose a 1v1.

s/d fresh air ele is still the best burst in the game. When thieves are nerfed you will start to see lazor burst eles.

2: Passive traits that carry a player and totally negate a source of damage is absurd. @11: You really are able to dodge this spell with all that clutter? I don't know anyone who can do this. @18: Mass Invis is still a mechanic that shouldn't exist in any serious PvP environment. There is absolutely no counter to it, if it's placed well enough. *14: Everyone allrdy knows that the servers of arena-net/nc-soft whatever, are pretty bad and produce after every patch heavy lags.*

I have my own, dedicated, internet (which I personally pay for). I have my router and firewalls optimized for Guild Wars 2. My IP takes priority over all other IPs and GW2 takes priority over all download protocols. I hardly, if ever, have lag.

1. is 100% and entirely your problem. Don’t put your own lack of decent internet on Arena.net.

Not going to comment on the balance issues, I’m not experienced enough for that. But the internet thing I had to respond to.

Pst its actually not. The lag currently is caused by their servers or possibly the new wvw map not being coded right. You will at times get extremely bad lag spikes for no reason. About 95% of the player base is experiencing this.

What do you believe is the most unbalanced skill in the game. SINCE THIS IS ABOUT OPINIONS THAT MEANS NO ONE CAN BE WRONG. So if you disagree thats fine do not reply back saying you disagree.

-My choice would have to be Thief sword 2.

-Insane mobility for little cost. Can be used to port through walls, up terrain, has an immobilize, cures a condi, no cd, low initiative cost.
-Can be used to stop stuns. You port away but are still stunned but it doesnt matter because you are away from the target that stunned you
-This ability is insane mobility and ignores LoS in some spots. Other classes have to wast utility slots and skills with cds for the this kind of mobility. While its built into the thief weapon set and doesnt have a cool down and costs very little initiative.
-Increase initiative cost by 2. Make it abide by LoS rules. Remove the cures one condi.

I still hate skyhammer a lot but in all honesty i don’t care. Its solo queue. Say i am in the top 50 solo queue is like being the smartest kid in the stupid kids class. You get no rewards for solo queue, the leader boards are a joke so honestly why do you care if you get this map. Its not like it matters anymore.
