Mesmers have the highest ranged autoattack in the game, there autoattack for sword also steals boons.
You made the necro scepter auto-attack damage as an example. You could cut the power damage of it by 50%, do it I don’t care. You can’t nerf the condition damage.

Lol what mesmers dont have the highest ranged auto-attack in the game. Also the mesmer sword auto-attack doesn’t steal a boon it removes one. Its also on the last chain hit and it does this because the sword auto attack does extremely low damage.

What? Pull your head out of the sand and consider what other MMOs even do: multi-month release schedules that often times bring nothing new to the table in terms of technology.

It seems to me ANet puts priority on PvE and not PvP, because this isn’t the case for every single MMO in the world. Direct comparisons aren’t allowed, but not so long ago I played a game where PvP content/balancing patches were heavily discussed/tested with the communities help, and they were fairly successful, and it didn’t even take an entire year.
If the game you are referring to is the one I am thinking of, then it wasn’t a MMO. Moreover, entirely successful is a joke of epic proportions because the game was utterly destroyed balance wise at the year mark.
Furthermore, as it’s been brought up a hundred times on these forums, and PTR would do wonders for both the Dev’s AND the community.
A) A place to test balance/content changes that don’t screw up the game for everyone
B) A chance to allow players to playtest your changes FOR FREE.
C) It frees the team from the responsibility of guaranteeing everything works from the getgo – the team could be more adventurous with balance changes and content changes because if it doesn’t work out, there’s still time to tweak without kitten ing off the entire community.

I would agree with you if pvp actually had more up dates. This game was advertised as THE pvp mmo do you remember that? All the play us at pax/games con we are a legit pvp game made for pvpers! Ever heard of the game Rift? The game Rift had more pvp updates in its first year then gw2 had in its first year and Rift straight up said we would like this game to be more pve focused. But they still put out just as much pvp content as pve content. They didn’t ignore part of their player population and they gave the community straight up answers about balance and the state of the game not cryptic clues.

I found that taking torch over pistol and the torch removes condis talent over the shatters removes boons makes shatter work a bit better in this meta. You lose some damage without have the pistol phat. BUT the torch stealth seems to be a better initiation then the pistol stun. I was having great luck with it.

Their is a reason 90% of warriors are using it. I needs to be toned down a bit. Then mending needs a slight buff. The sig needs either slightly less healing per second or the time in between heals needs to be slightly increased.

To me more clear, I tried to meet you half way. You declined. Also I must point out you called me PvE/WvW zerger in the other thread and forced me to pull leader board rank on you.
Dont go down this path, the GvG side its another game mode you are not ready for. You step into the GvGs your low skill spam gimmicks will get exposed by real team work and crazy builds that work due to WvW stat choices.
There are no spirit rangers in GvG no pure stun lock wars no troll thiefs also no bunkers like you know them, not even the same kind of necros builds. Mesmers have a place so do eles and even engineers in top teams its actually rangers that are not viable in GvGs. Its another world with another very complex meta and counter meta.
You could not hang without much practice and research.
I proved a GvGer can hang in low skill cap land called conquest there are other GvGers top 100 on the solo queue on my friends list. You think your good only because the pool of good players doing TPvP is 40 tops. When in reality GvGers are casually farming PvP leader boards and mocking all of you clowns that fooled yourself into thinking your playing the competitive game mode..
This GvG vs PvP thing is pointless. Deathmatch always wins without fail its draws more people and larger populations when both deathmatch and conquest are offered.
Anyway I do hope Anet fixes PvP so its brings in good players just seems they are clueless over why PvP is failing no matter how clear it is to others. The growth of GvG should be a huge red flag that so many top players are rejecting their PvP and made a deathmatch game mode all their own, but naw anet just wants it dead and gone.
GvG streams are pulling in as many views as PAX why is that? And why is Anet going to kill GvGs?
Whenever i see people talking about wvw all i think about is foodbuffs lawl.

their is nothing wrong with shatter how it is currently. Its just the meta is hard against mesmers because we are weak against condi damage. When the meta becomes a bit less condition spamy shatter and mesmers will be back on top.

as a ranger im so glad spirits were nerfed it was so boring to play(still is playable)… but the problem is we dont have any other viable builds at all…….
The fun of any game is coming up with different and unique specs and having them work. The majority of people in this game arn’t very creative at all. They find one build that is easy to play and anyother new builds are instantly called bad. Experiment i am sure you will be surprised.

i am a pretty happy camper. that’s not to say there’s more to be had – because there is SO MUCH MORE to be had. but at this moment in time, i can jump in PvP – either hot join, s or tPvP and i usually leave with a great time. and thus, i do have high hopes for ANet to keep upping their PvP game. it’s much needed.
